CA215 Indoor #3

Ugh speech is the worst. In my experience every college course I took regardless of the subject always came down to the professor. They can either make or break any class. Fortunately I had a judge who taught part time for my speech class. Ended up turning a terrible class into an exciting real world education. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you lol

As you would say these porta SCROGs are the bizness! :) Honestly I think this is hands down the best way to grow buds indoors.

Traditionally the most efficient way to grow indoors has been using SOG but due to plant counts that's no longer a feasible option. Creating a SCROG, especially a porta SCROG, still gives you the same benefits of a SOG but without the insanely high plant counts. Without using a SCROG to create an even canopy were just wasting light.

They give you so much control and it's so easy to make adjustments. It creates a perfectly even canopy and could probably help any newbie train like a pro. Thank you so much for demonstrating this technique! :Namaste:

Looks freaking outstanding CA. Looks like it wont be long now for several of those girls. I took speech class last spring and had to do a freaking Eulogy on my dog in front of like 60 people and I was stoned. Was freaking crazy ended up getting a B in the class tho lol

Atleast the week is almost over!

shit when I went to school it was sex drugs and rock n roll
Happy Freeweed day CA

For soil insects I use diatomaceous earth on top of the soil as a barrier, it cuts them as they move through it. I bought my diatomaceous earth from an animal feed store, do not use the type meant for pool filters. Mosquito dunks can also be used as a soil drench for fungus gnats. Sierra Natural Sciences also makes a soil drench called SNS-203 for fungus gnats and other soil insects.

The teacher talks completely monotone, I was thinking at the end of the class he was going to be like "SUPRISE!!! I AM ACTUALLY ENERGETIC AND TALKATIVE!!", but nope! Complete opposite of what I had pictured and this should be one of those classes that will just need to be grin and bared, really all my classes fall into this category. Who said school it fun? Thanks for the good wishes mrbub :) You are spot on about the porta scrog talk. The ease of watering single plants would take so much work off your shoulder brotha I think you are doing the right thing getting adjusted to some of these screens. I think I am going to keep making the tweaks every grow and eventually have a set in stone method :wood: Noticed the 1"x1" may be a little small for doing weekly clean up of dead leaves. I have had a real hard time searching leaves for bugs and what not on that screened sage which really isn't to my liking. When I see gnats in the tent I feel a need to go ocd and find if they have huddled under one certain leaf which I have seen a few times now. Always clean up dead leaves in my tent, twice I have found them to contain tons of little white fly young ready to start their short lives NO BUENO! Going to give your thread a drive by mrbub :Namaste: hope you & your family are doing well man, prayers, blessings, and positive thoughts from out here buddy :joint:

Nice full tent :)

Going to be a nice harvest.

Gracias Craw :Namaste: Looking like I should have a decent amount of meds to keep me medicated for abit, planning on running a nice big fresh frozen hash run off all small nug and trim, getting excited over here ;)

As always, the plants look great. Even the pics of the Sage with it's leaf problems prove that not all grows are perfect, but they are our plants and as such... we are always learning.

Have a great day and looking forward to some harvest numbers soon. :circle-of-love:
Thanks as always skunk :Namaste: Definitely a bumpy grow, again.. ;) Although still pleased with the outcome as these girls can be smelt from the driveway, and they pass the sticky trich test with flying colors. These weeds can sure take some beating and mishaps and still end up turning out pretty dang appealing, I love this hobby. Hope you are doing well skunk!!

Thanks much Backpckin' :Namaste: We are definitely on the countdown. It really is coming down to when I have time after classes or on weekends to get these girls harvested. I don't think pushing them 3 weeks flush would hurt them but produce me some very nice smoke. Who knows I might let those sages yellow out and mimic the hazes. So, maybe a 4 week flush yikes! We will see when the time comes. Definitely going to use doc buds cleaning method again as it produced some killer smoke. I was going ton ask where your journal was., but it seems you are running a current grow, will stop by and see whatcha got goin on :thumb:

great weed porn Happy Thurweed day CA :thumb:

Happy Skunkday Cron :high-five: Thanks for the kind words, hope the big island is treatin' ya right fella :thumb:

Great update CA!

Don't you remember all the things 'they' tell you. Don't do drugs, stay in school. ;)

Hope you have your trimming scissors ready, plenty of work to be doing soon. Just the nice, smooth cruise to a healthy harvest.

:bravo::Namaste:

:thanks: Mono!! I didn't listen much in school :) Was always in my own world the whole don't smoke thing never really stuck
Should be an eventful trimming time, I will either have to go full bore harvesting everything or try and cut down and trim a plant a night. A good friend has recently moved back around my area and may be able to help for the day :Namaste:

Another reason I was never really paying much attention in classes :thumb: Happy Munchday!!

I still have yet to attack the gnats but as the plants have been getting quit dry I think a load of them died off.. Im sure these will be more. Going to give them the d.earth top soil with some washed sand. Have used the sns before its some great stuff although spendy for how quick the bottles seem to go by. I will use remedies from household items I have, thanks for the info kjc :thumb:

I second the SNS-203. Some good stuff

They have some good products, money is a little tight right now with school so we will see what we can do to these sobs with the household insect weapon cache

Shot from yesterday off of a little cheapy camera, posting to see how it turns out, sage:

Alright, I have the day off luckily as I woke up sick as a dog.. Happens at least once ever year, damn flu. I am going to try and get in the tent and apply top layers to all the small seedlings in attempts to keep down the gnat population down. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks flower on the hazes and sages & around a week and a half of flushing. Yesterday both hazes acquired 5 gallons flush until nice and clean run off. The sage pictured above also got around 6-7~ gallons flush. I ran out of water so the screened sage only got a gallon. I set up my ro filter and ended up attaching the attachment a little too roughly and had a twist on the plumping under the sink, luckily I checked on it about 10 minutes later to only find the cabinet under the sink and half the bathroom to be flooded woops  No damage just a whole bunch of wet rags. The plants will dry for the next 3-4 days and again we will give them a decent flush. There after they will dry out once more to prep for harvest!

Until next time :peace: CA

nice looking colas there man Happy Munchday CA :thumb:

Mono "Don't you remember all the things 'they' tell you. Don't do drugs, stay in school."

Wait... I thought it was " Do drugs, don't go to school. " Damn

Party on

Today is 8 weeks 1 day flower for the big girls and they are getting ripe! The little ones are around a couple weeks from pistils so they should have another month and a half follow up after this harvest for another little minor 3 strain addition to the haze/sage. The big gals are still quite damp so I have yet to follow up with another flush. I am contemplating flushing the hazes till everything towards the top is damn near ready to come down, and leaving the bottom nugs to run their span a little longer as they seem to have a lot more green to them. I will not harvest until I am sure I have flushed each plant with atleast 4x the pot size to make sure I am left with smooth smoke.

Anyways, here are some shots! My camera died and left one shot of the sage, so until I get some more time, those stanky ones cant wait :Namaste:

First shot is the sage, then all haze shot, continued by the little seedlings in super soil. I want to also add this.. Don't put seedlings in super soil!! If these plants make it through I will be amazed and quite happy :) The hogs are showing some signs of burn.

I also want to post, all the bends on the fan leafs are due to these being strategically placed below the big girls.. needless to say they take a beating being that low. But, a couple do have some twisted looking growth which is definitely ss related ;)
