CA215 Indoor #3

Your girls look great to me ca215. I think you should look into a different ca/mg though dude. The botanicare ca/mg is not microbe friendly.

I accidentally used it since I have some left over from grows a while back and ran out of the normal general org. ca/mg. My soil did not like it too much.

cheers brother

such odd patterns. the spotting is a cal/mag issue, while the green is a macronute issue.

Some leaf issues, but the buds look Great! Love the way your growing these plants, such a lovely world in that tent. I'm sure the buds will be fine, I'll be sitting back with my  to see how this pans out. Very beautiful plants and flowers CA, great work!:thumb:

Let me shoot this plan at you guys,
Flush that one plant with some pH'd 7.0 ro, around 2-3 gallons.. after I have "ph perfect" sensi a and b, maybe a 1/2 gallon flower nutes after that? Sounds risky but I feel like a fresh start on that one plant might be a good start. Really not liking how the buds are yellowing when they should be a few higher tints of green, seeing little to no growth when they should be producing.
If not I can keep trying to correct this issue, i'm glad b real said it was a little confusing because I look at kjcs chart provided and sit there analyzing and conclude on about 5 things that can be a possible be affecting that plant :hmmmm: no bueno. Might as well try to save the girl if not, another one bites the dust and as always, chalked up to LIVE AND LEARN!

So there's the plan, going to go act on it :peace:

I've been rereading my grow bible the last couple hours and stumbled into Jorge's recommendations. I've yet to try it myself but he recommends flushing with a "mild" nutrient solution at 3 times the volume of the container. Ie. 15 gallons for a 5 gallon container. Personally I'm considering flushing my 3gal Dinachem with 9gals of water and then feeding it maybe a half gal of a 1/2 strength nutrient mix. I don't think it's economical to use up nutrients for the 9gal flush but I think it's mainly about clearing out your soil and starting fresh. I've attempted flushes in the past with some success but I've never been able to flush 3x my containers volume.

Live and learn indeed brother! Lol

Thanks much for the reply mrbubbles!!!

I ended up going for it last night after the post, and this morning the girl looks like she is doing good, I have yet to pull her from under the hps but she does not look over watered with bowed leaves, she looks happy with GREEN! Although it was not a huge flush on the girl, it was decent and saw a significant change in the color of the water streaming from the pot which is what I am looking for, once the water comes out clear and not yellow nute filled, I would say its pretty well flushed. Last indoor sess when I was flushing my girls with 15 gallons of water come harvest, they looked absolutely sorry for themselves, totally overwatered. Being at 40 days flower I don't want to stress or slow down these girls tootoomuch.

Mrbub, we think alike. I didn't want to go mixing up all those nutes into the water that is just going to run right out the bottom of the pot down the drain, so I opted for the first 3 gallons reg 0ppm 7.3 reverse osmosis water (did not even care to ph up or down as I felt the girl wouldn't have that water in her root zone for that long) which I let drip dry for a good minute or two, thereafter I followed up with 1/2 gallon of the sensi BLOOM a&b (I was calling it grow) @ 4mL per liter, so around 6-8mL per a and b, the pH (6.4) of this mix was a little iffy seeing as the whole issue may have stemmed from that but with the "ph perfect" BS I let it slide.

Another thing that pops into my mind when I am watering with these ph spikes is hermies, I have found one nanner on the screened sage which could be chalked up to a multitude of things (cutting the bottom off her pot, defol, ph spikes, fked up nute regimen). Although I have not spotted more I am wary that there is a nanner hiding in the middle of the canopy trying to avoid being plucked. I will keep my inspections daily and to every single branch, such a tedious waste of time it feels like when I could just remove "it" for a cull. Although she is frosting up real nice... what to do what to do.. Ill get some pictures today hopefully, my camera is currently being used off site :peace: CA

Got my hands on some tga genetics last night in sacto, lucky enough to swoop the LAST pack of quantum kush (last three grows these seeds have tested as high as 30%thc!) and the third dimension aka 3D. Paid a grip for reg beans, my plan is come outdoor season we are growing monsters.. gunning for a male quantum kush to pollinate all of my crops. If you do some research into this quantum kush you can see where I am going with this.. QK crosses with everything could strike me some hands down killer genetics to pass around, getting more and more excited every day that winds by ;) plus, the 3D smoke report from the tga page is my cup of tea! :Namaste:

The indoor girls are looking well I seem to have helped that haze out and she is now growing green from her nugs, planning on keeping her fed with that sensi @ 4mL per liter. I am starting to notice some of the same yellowing down low on the other haze now, headache. The 31st will be 5 weeks flower so I have approx. 2~ more weeks to get these girls plumped up nice as I am going for a 2 week minimum flush to make sure I have white ash being put out preferably 3 weeks flush. My throat is still hating me from the first grows that didn't get a totally proper flush, although I am growing "organics" I don't know how organic I really am making this, so, we will be safe and stick to some fat flushes. Contemplated picking up some of the flushing additives also but will need to ask around and see how these products have worked for others beforehand.

Going to take some shots for you all as I wont leave you hanging with just some boring ol' text :joint:

Day 33 flower,
The sage I thought was turning purple, nope, beginning of another deficiency. Sages are both looking a lot more indica also as time goes by, might end up applying flushes to these sooner than the tall lanky hazes. The deficient haze is looking better with some green buddage beginning. Everything is frosting up nice. Think I am going to start feeding them all with the sensi a&b, maybe give them the same treatment deficient haze received. Deficient plants are a bummer!

Hazes

Happy new year CA! All the best for 2014!

Hope the summer of 2014 carries a bumper harvest for you!

:Namaste:

Happpy new year to you Mono! One can hope for a nice eventful (good) year, but I do enjoy the curve balls I seem to get more than not

So I wasn't able to get an update yesterday at 5 weeks flower. I took pictures of the girls today and the little improvement to the tent.. I use the term improvement loosely as, I cant zip up the bottom portion of the tent now lol..

I added in a container lid which was just over 4 ft OD so now I get to watch all the water collect instead of watering and cleaning up thereafter, or watering and catching the runoff in a Rubbermaid.. no more of that! This piece was the right price (free) so I couldn't pass it up. Cleaned it up real good with hy.peroxide and placed in the tent.

I watered my girls with a hefty nutrient dose which seemed to bulk up nug size but might not have been the best thing going off of twhat the leaves are telling me, and the leaves and leaving! Falling off.. definitely seeing some nutrient burn in the pictures with possibly some lockouts. Starting to see pistils brown out but not at an alarming rate just the top bugs and maybe a hair or two. Time will tell.

Wondering if maybe these strains aren't necessarily 10 weekers, but maybe 8-9.. maybe it was my heavy feedings, at this point in the game i'm puzzled and am hoping these girls can finish up and make it to somewhat of a harvest. Being at 36 days, I figure I have another week maybe two if I want to push the nutes out, but really am shooting for a 3 weeks flush.

Anyways, I hope you all had a killer good new years bash! Anticipating some great grows here at 420mag this 2014 season, I hope to see everyone succeeding, trying new things, some new faces, and possibly get to meet some more of you awesome folk in the real world!

Anyways, enough blabber, some shots!

Some medibles, rice crispies and apricot granola bars
