OK... SOMEBODY on this damn thread better help me figure out why the hell I can't keep people straight here??? WTF? Only explanation I can think of is the birthdays have caught up to me and I'm going to start drooling on myself any day now! All you guys just grow nice plants dammit!! lol
:Namaste:

Sometimes seedlings just be saggy yo... I've had some do that and others be fine - of the same strain and all and under the same conditions.

Really expect these to grow very much past the apparent bounds of the grow area lol

Hey guys, can you check on this for me? I have already looked at the leaf guide to try and determine if there is an issue with my baby girl. It seems like the development of something wrong, maybe I am paranoid??

i would press the unlike button if there was one. concerning indeed. i see dry, number one,,the soil, and no soft, lush. little ones need so little help nutrient wise, but sure need water. i hope others can help dch,,

All that bark .. is your 'soil' not too acidic ? At this age, it can only be pH I'd say .. there should be enough nutrients in the seed to last her till past this point. I had a similar thing when trying to grow in coco without pH adjusted water. They would not grow and develop deficiencies. Changed to soil, issue solved. Alternative would have been to adjust pH ;)

Dchannn, PlanetJ may be correct? I see at the beginning you are/were using both Miracle Gro potting mix and bottled water. Bottled water, I don't believe, means the ph is automatically correct? Miracle Gro is something I'm not opposed to using. I used the "all purpose plant food" for my entire veg on my last grow and I was not at all unhappy with the results. However, by using Miracle Gro potting soil, I would think that is just like giving nutes to your girls right from seed because they put a ton of stuff in that... something that doesn't appear to be what we should be doing with week old seedlings. After only a week or so, it can't be too many things that are wrong?? My humble "guess" would be your problem is ph or the MG. ph is easily adjusted.. if it's the potting mix....I don't know what to tell you except to transplant earlier? Hoping it all works out brother.
:Namaste:

I tried growing in your everyday, normal Miracle Gro potting soil once. (The stuff in the yellow bag.) Ran into nutrient burn after about a month. That plant ended up going hermie on me. The problem with MG is that most of their blends are designed to feed plants for upwards of 60 days, not something you want with cannabis in my opinion. If you can get your hands on some Fox Farm...either Ocean Forest or Happy Frog, cannabis seems to love it. They will feed your girls for 30 days, so no nutes needed until after that. I know some people mix perlite into the FF stuff, but I use it straight from the bag...and has worked well for me so far. Your seedlings are still small, so it may not be too late to transplant them into soil that isn't quite so "hot". I also just use tap water that sits out for 48 hours+ to let the chlorine burn off. My run-off PH using FFOF and dechlorinated tap is 6.2. Just my 2 cents, and my disclaimer: I'm by no means an expert, just trying to help if I can. :)

Edit: Just saw your above post. If it is spider mites or similar, I've heard that neem oil takes care of them handily. It's also organic, so no chemicals touch your ladies.

good luck, i sure hope it's not mites. do you have a loupe or strong magnifying glass? mites are tough to get rid of, not that i have ever had em, but i would say the smaller the plant the easier to eradicate,, if me, i would be on that like ticks on a dog,, cheers, good luck

good of you to take the soil advice

no, i can't see anything in the pic,, but the leaves sure look like that might be a problem. just basing that on my tomato plant experience,, go easy with the spray, and i might suggest, that spray must land on the bugs to kill them, if it is what i think, so, spray, leave for a minute or so, then spray with clean water,, even the gentlest and mildest of bug juice can harm the little ones,, karma sent pal, cheers
