So today thc bomb and bagseed are looking a lot better.
I'm thinking its because I added some nutrients to their last watering.
Maybe they are just ready for 12/12 now.
Either way both are looking lots better and starting get abit of speedy growth to them now and even looking healthier.
I think Amnesia is due for another feed although her coco is still a little moist she will deal with it.
Unfortunately its my busy time of the week's so ill update pics in a couple of days

Subbed... Another good way to save on electricity is veg with glr... Then flower 11/13 or diminishing light... You on smart meter?.... All best with the grow....

Funny you mention that, I think I posted on my other journal but I'm thinking of heading that way, if it wasn't for my Strawberry cough flowering I probably already would have, thats the downfall of not having 2 tents though I guess.
I'm going to start a blueberry fem soon under glr though.
Yeah I am on the smart metre, why's that?

I don't think there's an energy saving price time with smart meters? makes no difference to price no matter what time the powers being used?.... I was just thinking of a cheaper timing schedule....

Ah yep I see what ya mean.
I think they still have the off peak but it doesn't make a whole lot of difference but I've got it from about 6-6am was 7-7 till daylight savings hit.
I'm not sure but I think glr is going to the best way for both yields and also energy saving aswell.
And when I get things sorted for a glr grow ill start of with cfls for a week's to hopefully keep the cost good.
I am in a way regretting doing 12/12 when I could have waited. Till SC was finished and just started verging for for a few weeks but abit of learning and trying different techniques will be good fir experience I guess

Well another member on here mentioned the 11-13 cycle to me and he showed some pics of his autos growing in this cycle and I decided well that's what's happening.
So I gave one my ladies (amnesia) a feed, thc bomb and bagseed have responded well so I'm going to slowly edge their feed up a little more and see what I can do, amnesia took awhile to dry out and her growth has slowed because of it but tonight I could feed her again and she should take off again.
One thing I've learned already is I really do need a weak solution of nutes in my coco when planting the seedlings in pellets into them.
I rearranged my tent for some new additions and things should settle in better now.
Under the 11-13 cycle I am adding 2 bloody skunks and 1 red poison, I'm going to glr vege a blueberry fem photo for a few weeks and then bring her into the cycle also.

Well today got a little shock, checked the tent and to my surprise the girl I have labelled as bagseed has started to show her hairs and a few of them too, hopefully she's planning on stretching abit more she's small.
Could have something to do with switching the light cycle to 11/13 not to sure.
By the looks of things thc bomb might not be far behind either just as a guess.
I might soon be able to see the difference in them and know I did get the labels right

Yesterday I gotta say I was abit silly, kept telling myself I must go check on those seeds and what'd I do I forgot checked today and all 4 are up and about so quickly got them under a cfl to get some light, one of them I think the red poison I remember just throwing in the pellet and well she sprouted upside down roots up out of pellet and growth in ground so I quickly fixed that up before putting under light, considering I usually put them in the right way that's abit of proof that sometimes seed direction can affect how they sprout, happened in one of my last batches also haha
Anyways ill let them relax and soak in some light and bring yall some pics soon

Im only new to the whole world of indoor growing and 420mag but have had a good read through multiple grow journals etc
Love what you are doing here, never would have thought to set the lights like that and am eager to see the results

Currently growing an Exodus cheese fem under 5 CFL's, she's 3 days old now but will probably end up buying a LED soon and set her up with a scrog. I have picked up some great ideas and continue to pick up new ones every day thanks to members like you and these journals

I will probably start a journal soon but not much is happening at the mo lol

Yeah you will pick it up real quick actually being a member now, I did the same just studying through journals then started posting and you can get a lot of info specific to your own grow.
Yeah I'm mainly doing it for money saving etc.
However I've seen some good results and thought why not.
Not sure if you've read up on glr light schedule but its something for you to read up on if your interested also I'm going to vege my blueberry seedling under it and see how it goes seperately.
Cfls are great and investing in a led is a wise move especially once she gets abit bigger, 5 cfls will vege her well for a few weeks though.
Scrog is great I built a net to use but couldn't due to autoflowers and 12/12 cycle, I don't wanna stress them too much.
A lot of info on this forum on scrog so your Gunna have a ball and shell be a big lady.
My other journal if you go back a few pages you'll be able to see how I prepared my SC for a scrog then later fluxes her a little if your interested in having a look

I hear you there, i am also doing it to save money as im currently out of work and will be looking into these light schedules a lot more over the coming days as it will also save me money on power which is a big thing in this household hehe
I have not had much luck with my auto's so far but that was also growing outside, they were tiny compared to some of the examples i have seen on here, the first was an AK47 auto that dad was going nuts topping because he thought it was one of his normal bagseed grows haha then the 2 Bloody skunk we grew ended up being attacked by pests but were only roughly 20cm tall at harvest, glad we had a few fems that produced enough for us to get by for a few months. however i still have a few auto seeds i might setup inside for a different grow and try my luck.
Thanks for more great information, i will be spending a lot of time on here over the next few days learning and work out what exact grow method to go with, seems so slow under the CFL's and cant wait to get a decent light in there but for now i have a lot of reading lol

Hey Apart good to have you here mate
I'm not to sure for training as of yet, if I was still running a longer light schedule I would but since I'm currently testing 11/13 I don't think I will, however I might train lower branches out for more light I think.
