PK auto Day 16 and looking great!

I will carefully put her into the final pot either tonight or tomorrow and then begin training after she has had about a week to adjust. The only thing I am stuck on is if I should go with a fabric grow bag or a plastic pot? :passitleft:

fabric will get more air to the root zone, weed roots love air but not exposure to light
Hey @013 that's what I am thinking I will do for this plant and probably continue to use them on all my plants for optimal airflow and just really try and stay away from anything plastic. I have about a dozen fabric pots in 3gal 7gal and 10 gal that I bought lastyear and only ever used one. I was actually really happy with the results and how the rootball looked once the grow was finished and I could pull it apart. I don't know why I didn't just use them for all my plants, but hearing it from you I have made up my mind...fabric it is! Next I think I am going to jump on the LOS train like you have and try my hand at that. You have some very beautiful looking plants in those 30's and can't wait to see the final product!

Thanks! Mine was a real crap fest in 2020 but hope I’m turning a corner with the new gear!

I started with plastic nursery pots, then migrated to air pots I’m just now getting into the fabric smart pots. I think I’m going to like using them. Just be careful transplanting that auto, maybe let the soil dry out really well so the rootball stays intact. I still can’t grow a decent auto but I will order more auto beans soon and try again!

I‘m looking forward to seeing what kind of colors pop on that Purpke Kush down the road, this should be a fun ride!

Thanks man. Yeah I will be very careful not to cause any stress to the plant during the transplant and can't wait to see how she will turn out under the sp150.

Can't wait to see how your plants are progressing, if you can drop a few pictures soon so I can check em out.

It' smells good in here! These buds are maturing alot quicker than expected. I am going to have to chop soonish as the buds themselves are showing about 60% cloudy 10% amber and another 30% clear. The sugar leaves are basically half amber/ half cloudy. Also the branches are bending over from the weight and one has already snapped at the base so I had to tape it together.

Well i got some bad news about this PK auto :( I just noticed some pistils near the top. She's only 17 days old which is a total bummer but im still going to transplant to a bigger pot, probably a 2 gallon at this point and try my best to train her as much as I can before she really starts flowering.

I'm hoping the other beans I got won't do the same thing when I decide to use them.

Well the time has come for another run to come to an end. I am just preparing to chop my 3 plants as I type this out and get nice and ripped beforehand. Hopefully I can get it all done including a light trim before the sun completely sets in my part of the country.

Here is the PK auto I am not too happy with right now. She has been in the new pot for a few days already and definitely has slowed down a little. The pistils are coming in at every branch site now so I am really hoping I can slow this down some so she can stretch a bit and gain some structure to her before flower really starts to take off. I have her on a 20/4 light schedule and have been since breaking the soil surface but maybe just shitty genetics on this one for starting to flower not even 3 weeks after germinating, ah well I will try my best, that's all we can really do in these situations.

I still suck at autos but read some real good shit here from Auggie, Apoc and also Multivortex on autos & defol to keep them in veg longer but it’s kinda precision stuff on timing and amounts. I’m sure you can pull it off but it takes some research and reading...

I might have a link or three if I can find ’em.

Multivortex defol on autos

Apoc growing autos

crap that’s all I can find now but pretty sure I tried to save the one by Auggie but can’t find it

Oh yeah after searching for a minute I remember what stuck out about Auggie - he said he hated autos and advised people to grow real cannabis!! That’s too funny but he has a point, anyways to each their own - but yeah those are the best 2 on autos I’ve seen so I bookmarked them.
Thanks 013 I am starting to feel that way haha. I think I might just stay away from autos after this one does its thing. I'm still holding on that I can still get something out of this one but we'll have to wait and see.

don't feel bad. haven't done autos in a few years. last time i tried i got less than 12g from 4 plants. they triggered about a wk after the third node.

Hey @bluter Yup that's exactly what has happened here, right after the 3rd node to be exact. I will just wait it out and next time stick to photos.

gonna give it another go in hempy.
a friend does all sorts with autos. i look at the things sideways and they fail lol :p

Well after about a week or so I am finally feeling better and ready to start focusing on the things that make me happy. I was sick with a really bad case of c.difficile and ended up in the hospital as a result and man that was no fun at all. For everyone out there who just takes a doctor's word for it that you must take this medication.....always ask questions, do i really need this medication? What are the side effects? Are there alternatives to the medication you want to prescribe me etc?

I have never been that sick where my organs were starting to fail and being told to prepare for the worst because its not looking good. This has been a huge wakeup call for me but anywho.

My purple kush auto is severely stunted, so yeah there's that. I don't know what went wrong other than maybe I stressed the hell out of her when I transplanted instead of starting her off in the final pot? I thought I was being extra careful while doing this and also with my training regimen which is basically just bending the the plant over gradually and tieing her down which I have always had great results with in the past. She did start flowering before the 3rd week of veg was up so it could also be genetics of that particular seed, I really don't know. I think I am going to wait a bit before I pop anymore auto beans and focus on my photos for now since I have a ton of seeds in my catalog.

I do have a clone I monster cropped from the blueberry when she was 3 weeks in flower which I think I am going to focus on vegging and turning into a beast of a plant and maybe push vegging for as long as I can with the space I have and then put a scrog up. Since my recent harvest was decent I have enough pot to last me a long time so I can afford the wait while vegging it out longer. I also decided to salvage my 3rd generation reveg and plan on revegging her into a small plant to take clones for a mother because I really like the strain alot. I have harvested her 3 times already so I think I will stop trying to get anything more out of her and she is looking like a mess right now with all kinds of dead vegetation but I promise you when will come back lush and full of new branches.

Here are some pics of the current plants
Pk auto, blueberry monster clone, 3rd generation reveg killer kush clones. And I'm also growing a watermelon here too with my other plants and vegetables.
