Thanks Squiggle! It's great to be back. I see you have joined the 420 team...congrats on that :thumb: I was thinking SOG because I have alot of seeds to start using and I am curious about the yield and how long it will take from start to finish. I will have to come visit tour journals check out what you have been up to over the last couple months but I see you have a very beautiful light you ate testing out and I have to stay it looks very impressive! Can't wait to see how those ladies turn out.
Cool, looking forward to this experiment. You will succeed no problem mate.. I wouldn't bother catching up on any of my growings on, you won't learn anythin  my journey would burn your brain out. looking forward to your updates mate..
Oh!!!

Haha yes! but your journals usually had something hilarious to read every few posts which made them a great read.

Your welcome mate! We'll deserved, I can't wait to see how everything turns out.

Me and the misses are going to make some shatter this evening and probably end up glued to the couch watching some good ol Monty Python flicks...should be an interesting night.

Well I am going to head out and grab some snacks, I hope to have something new posted soon.

Cheers!

Update on the ladies. We are now day 7 since breaking the soil surface. I am trying out some new soil for one of these ladies and depending on how well it goes I might switch them all over once I uppot soon.

Stay tuned for more.

Wow great crew you have there…. I need to drop beans
Hey 013! Glad you could stop by. Yeah It's going to be packed in here soon hopefully. I'm giving some to friend but I'll be keeping 5 forsure.

Oh yes I would love to see some new projects when you are ready.

I also find growing at this time of the year is easier for me to control climate and I always had good success too so we will see.

Happy Sunday friends and fellow growers! :)

Just a small update here on the babies. We have 2 out of the 10 starting to throw out pistils and we are only 20 days in. I am going to wait a few more days and start up potting to 1 gallon containers and give some of these over to a friend for his grow.

Most of them are about ready to start receiving their very first feed but I am going to wait a few more days to a week before introducing the nutes. I was going to top them all but I have since made up my mind that I will be bending them over and tieing them down to minimize stress and recovery since I want them to grow as quickly as possible and keep them all small and compact.

Quick update on the ladies. Almost all have shown sex by now and we will be up potting tonight to their final pots. I also gave their first feed on December 8th and they are loving it. The big girl in the middle top row is a gelato glue and she is thriving, I may just keep her growing o-natural :cheesygrinsmiley:

Quick update. It's official! I now have 7/10 plants for this grow. I gave 3 away to a friend lastnight and he is more than excited to get growing again. Because I did all the leg work for him already by growing them out and transplanting them to their final pots, he really just has to feed/ water and sit back and let them do their thing.

As for my 7 ladies, they are all starting to flower and 31 days old. This is going to be a quick grow, nothing spectacular, it's more about experimenting with the space I have to grow in and the tools i have at my disposal to do a multi-plant grow. I'm looking to find the quickest way to go from seed to harvest by using a 12/12 lighting schedule all the way throughout and keeping the plants a certain height and width in 1-2 gallon containers with very minimal training/ bending/ popping and stress to the plants. I still have a few to uppot tonight and of course adjust my lights for the best possible lighting!

Thanks @420BudzFreak yeah he definitely appreciated it. We did an outdoor grow together this year which was coming along nicely but it got trashed in the first few weeks of flowering from a crazy storm and only 1 plant survived. Since then he swore he would only do indoor grows so I decided to hook him up with a few.

Thank you, it’s been great to be with family!!!

I’m excited to watch multiple plants started on 12/12 from seed….
That's great to hear 013! Family is so important and I am glad you got to spend some time with family.

Yes, I can't wait to see the end results. I'm thinking by about beginning of February most will be ready to chop. I'm going to do more research on the strains I have running and check data on flower times so I can get a better idea of when to be expecting them to finish up but so far they are all in the 2nd week of true flower.

I decided after everything that I was going to let them all grow naturally without doing any training. I'm very aware they won't amount to much individually but altogether I should have a decent harvest with a variety of good weed to keep me going. This is just me being curious about growing 12/12 from seed and experiencing it myself even though I know what should happen and the end result to be I just have to try it for myself

Oh and I can't forget...im running terpinator on all the strains growing.

Happy New Year friends, fellow growers and hobbyists alike.

Here is a quick update as we near the end of week 4 flower. They all appear healthy and the buds are just starting to swell up and there is a noticeable increase in trichome production over the last few days.

I’m fortunate to have a great family! Kinda hard to believe it’s a New Year already…..

Kewl that’s a great plan! I’ve never ran 12/12 from seed so I’m on board with you - anxious to see how they do. I salute that you are willing enough to muck around to see how it does. I need to try 12/12 from seed too

I’ve never done well with ruderalis but gonna try a few autos while I wait on others to veg & train and the Amy reveg… I will start the autos in the tent on 24/7 then bump down light hours after 2
weeks.

oh yes that week 7 drought was the bomb, I counted from first pistils (not the flip date) and about day 10 they got heavy laden with glue.

your girls look shiny and all spiked up…, go Terpinator!

I hear ya there! Yeah 2021 went by so quickly right?

I have alot of seeds in my catalog so I figured I would get busy again and grow a variety this time. I never tried growing 12/12 from seed either and so far it's going great! 7 stick buds each with a decent amount of bud on them, couldn't be happier for the amount my girl and I consume. Aside from having to water/ feed as often because of the smaller pots there really ain't much maintenance involved, and trimming will be a breeze too! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I only grew autos twice, the first was a bust and that PK auto I did last summer wasn't anything special either. I messed up by not starting her in the final pot and I think the lack of training and stress from the upcan didn't help either. She also started throwing out pistils after 16 days in veg with a 24/0 light schedule so I don't really know what happened there, maybe bad genetics for that strain?

I like your idea though of starting at 24/0 and bumping down the light by 2 hours after 2 weeks. I wish I didn't go from 24/0 to 12/12 with mine but I didn't have the space so I had to throw her in the flower closet.

I also read somewhere I think it was Bill284 or Carcass mentioning low humidity during flower also boosts trichome production. I have mine around 30% at the moment and this is mostly due to harsh cold winter temps where I am located and the electric heating in the grow room. Aside from going out and buying a new humidifier I am just leaving pales of water near the heat vents with fan blowing across the surface of the water and strategically hanging wet towels occasionally in the closet and it seems to be helping boost the RH a bit.
I'm definitely going to drought my plants in week 7 though like you did...I hope the smoke turned out great!
