yes it did, now if we can ever get past covid

That’s pretty sweet right there - glitter filled budsickles for the win!!!

the way I’ve heard it explained is if all goes well then autos veg for about 3 weeks… flower can be delayed by defoling just 1 fan leaf at a time… if you do top autos then do it by day 21 but no later… I think it’s mochabud has an auto growers cheat sheet

Seems whenever I touch an auto - it’s gonna jump to flower right away, I still have auto beans and a few will hit the soil tomoz. Autos will freak out if you look at them wrong

I ran both dehueys this winter to pull down rh in flower room. Oh yeah I think you will like week 7 droughting… at first I didn’t see difference but on day 10 its obvious and it’s worth the wait!

alright man peace out - hang in there!!

Here's a quick update as we move into week 7. Buds are still swelling up and throwing out pistils everywhere but majority of trichomes are still clear with a few milky and amber here and there. I'm thinking it may be another 2 more weeks at the least. I just watered yesterday so I will try and let them go without for as long as possible and drought them.

Update on these girls as we are hopefully in the final stretch with week 8 just starting yesterday I have been flushing with RO pH'd to 6.8 for the last week and a half and the flush is already starting to become evident as the colors begin to fade to some beautiful dark purps and fall colors. I think I will keep these girls going for another few days under lights before I throw em into darkness for 24-48 hours. The buds are solid and smell great! I'm getting hints of blueberry, lemon and that classic SD smell is overpowering, I can't wait for this to be over. I also have some new babies getting ready to take their place including a blue haze photo I plan on vegging for a couple months.

Well today is chop day. I decided they were good enough as all plants have about 70/30 percent cloudy/amber trichomes on the buds so I threw em into darkness for 2 days. When I came home this morning from being out overnight I didn't even get in the door and all I could smell was dank so just imagine what it was like in the grow groom.

Here's a nice specimen of the gelato glue...can't wait for the terp profile to really set in once they start curing for a bit.

Looking very frosty mate. Does she smell as nice as she looks?
Congratulations on the chop by the way
Howdy Squiggle!! Oh yes she sure does mate!

I'm actually very happy with the way this little experiment turned out. 80 days in total from the time the seeds germinated until I chopped and I now have a variety of bud and I can basically smoke a different strain for each day of the week if I wanted to :laughtwo::yummy:

Not a bad little run you've had. A different strain for each hour of the day would be good :laugh:but I would be more than happy with a different smoke each day. Your making me jealous:laugh: let us know what the all smoke like.

Yes it was great!!! ...considering my last run was a complete disaster when all my plants got decimated by thrips and spider mites.

I'm definitely doing the 12/12 from seed for my next run. Personally, I found it to be much easier to manage and I can still get a great amount of bud.

I need to stop by and have a read through your journal. How's the FC-E4800 treating you? I would love to own one of those lights eventually.

I might give your method a go myself. I'm impressed with the results.

I've had a thrip problem myself. I had to bin two plants because of them and I rescued the other two with the help of honey.
Just a little dab at each node and leaf stem and it trapped them in the stickiness. I dabbed the odd random one off the leafs with a cotton bud dipped in Bee juice..

The @Mars Hydro FC-E4800 is an awesome bit of kit. Really well designed. If you are ever looking at getting a new light, I would highly recommend them. The quality is weirdly sexy lol.

You should definitely give it a shot if you have seeds to spare.

Oh man I'm sorry to hear about your thrip problem but I'm glad you found a solution to rescue the other two. A dab of bee juice at the nodes and leaf stem, I'll have to to keep that in mind if god for bid I have another round with those little buggers!

I plan on getting a new light and I was thinking of either the viparspectra xs4000 or Mars FC 3000 but not sure which one. Anyway I plan on getting the light in April so I have some time to think about it.

Finally finished all the chopping and trimming and have my buds hanging.

I also got nice and ripped for the occasion courtesy of this CBD critical mass I picked up for a special occasion and I must say it's excellent!! It's definitely a more relaxing calm type of high and doesn't hit with any paranoia and the feeling like your heart is going to beat through your chest. I have a very low tolerance to THC these days so I'm usually good off a few hits. I haven't really dabbled with cbd all that much so I was quite surprised at how it affected me:drool:

Now I'm thinking I will need to pick up some beans of a high cbd strain and grow some myself. A great wake n bake strain and it would be a perfect "go- to-bedder" smoke.

Well im going to start a new grow right away and this time I'm going to experiment with some cross pollinating. I grew out a male plant from the blueberry XL strain a little while ago so I could harvest some pollen and use to cross pollinate. I think I am going to try my luck at crossing the blue haze with blueberry and because I absolutely love the strain.

I have done some research on the best methods of harvesting and storing pollen.

- First I trim off all the male flower clusters and alow them to dry completely for a week or so.

- Once dry carefully place the dried material on a micron screen and gently sift the pollen and discard the remaining plant materials.

- I have two containers one of which is straight pollen and the other is a 1:1 ratio of pollen and flour to help with reducing any potential moisture - apparently the flour will not affect fertilization so we will see. I'm storing my pollen in the freezer and will not have any temperature fluctuations as this freezer will not be opened once its in there until I need to use it.

- Once ready to pollinate remove the pollen from the freezer and allow it to slowly come up to room temperature while making sure no moisture gets to it. I will choose two developing bud sites and gently dab pollen with a fine tipped paint brush and hopefully I will have seeds starting to develop over the next few weeks.

This is something I have always wanted to do with cannabis and I feel this run should be the one to do it on. I'm only going to grow one plant because I don't want to risk having multiple plants pollinated if something goes south. I also sterilized the grow space from top to bottom as well as the entire room it's located in and tried to be as careful as possible so I'm hoping everything will work out great this run.

What’s up 0z?

Pollen slinging huh? Your crew looks top notch. I’m pumped, never ran 12/12 from seed & never ran a sog - so this will be a cool one to watch.
Yes sir! I have my pollen collected and stored and just waiting to try this out. The 12/12 thing worked pretty good last run so I thought I would do it again, and for the amount I smoke it's more than enough to keep me going.
