Brix, Buds & Blades: Knifemaker420's Auto Perpetual Garden

I germinate mine in the middle of a wet tissue inside a air tight container with about 90% germination rate, I also leave them in the container until the seed shell comes off and has got the 2 colydones showing and then I transplant into pots, then water slightly after I've potted them
Thanks for the info @Tomuk17
I think I've got the germination process, and ive read that its best to not transplant Autoflower strains so as not to stress them out/stunt them.
I'm just wondering how long before I put the seed into the "soil" should I prep the containers? Should I get them set up early or right before I drop the beans?

I'm still pretty new but I have had some experience with germinating autoflowers. The first few I transplanted from solo cups and the last few went directly to pot. My Lamb's Breath was started in a solo cup and transplanted. It was also topped. It didn't flower until day 50 due to the two interferences. My White Widow went directly from paper towel to pot. It was later topped and is now entering flower about day 38. Of course one data sample does not prove anything but I'm pretty sure skipping the solo cup will gain you at least an extra week.

To prepare the night before just fill bag with Promix HP. I can't see any good resulting from pre-moistening. When it comes time to plant the seed you could dribble about a thimble's worth of water into the spot to make the soil stick together. Use a pen to make a little hole. Place seed. Dribble a tiny amount of water just around the area of the seed-not the whole pot. You can spray mist to keep that area moist. Seed will probably emerge in 24 hours. Over the next day or two just keep an area of 1-2 inch radius damp expanding as the seedling grows. The idea is you are watering the roots not the plant but you want the roots to spread out vertically, not straight down. See @Emilya's excellent watering guide for better explanation

Well, just wanted to say I might have the best wife ever. Not only is she ok with me growing my own smoke, she has very kindly given up a corner of her craft room for my tent etc.
When we bought our house I took over the whole garage for my knifemaking shop and she got the spare room. My original plan was to keep the tent etc out in my shop but after thinking about the amount of dust I create out there as well as the types of dust made (steel, wood, carbon fiber, micarta, G10 etc etc) decided it would be better off in the house.

Also I recieved an email this morning from seedsman saying they had accidentally overcharged me and to rectify the issue they are sending me 10 more Zkittles auto seeds and giving me 500 loyalty points.
Still waiting for my seeds to arrive but everything else is here and waiting.

Thanks again everyone who is following my first grow, hopefully I'll be able to get started soon.

That's an excellent light.
Yes it sure looks like it. Ive watched a bunch of YouTube video reviews and everyone had good things to say. I like @Dutchman1990's setup with 2 of the 150s but one 250 is the perfect size for my tent

Whoot whoot, my wife just informed me that my sp-250 has arrived. Cant wait for work to be over so I can go home and get everything set up. Seeds have made it to the Canadian border fingers crossed they clear customs with no problems.

Got my tent all set up and ready for seeds to arrive any day now I hope. I have the carbon filter disconnected from the fan as to not waste it unnecessarily.

Ran the light and fans for about 90 minutes and it held pretty steady at 77°F so I'm happy with that.

The humidity is low, so that may need to be addressed although RH should increase once I start watering the plants...
Thanks to @SmokeSara for the recommendation on the light.

StaySharp everyone
