Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

Got another bean delivery today. Been good week, added 8 more strains to the collection.

Just checked the flower tent. This grow is same as last, but I have 2 cali og's added. Last grow was disappointing, the buds didn't really swell. Had a lot of ph problems along with the mites. This grow is more promising, I see a difference every day, they are very dense and really swelling up. The cali's are doing good too, I only vegged for couple weeks, went straight to flower. Here's few more pics.

Going to start flush this weekend, there's a couple that has some sort of deficiency, but it's too late in the game to try to correct.
I am curious if they get as dense as an hps?

Yes. I started with hps, still love them. Under my led the buds were denser and had more sugar than hps. But hps produced bigger buds. Now this grow under the cobs is better so far. Still have rock hard, dense buds, but now I have the big colas that I had under hps. I think the technology has finally made led the way to go. Just initial cost is lot more than hps.

Much much more, seems the way to go if you have the money to put in it though, me I can't see myself wanting to spend more than 500 on a light or growing more then 2 or 3 plants at a time. Been thinking about 4 of the c series on a 1750 or 2100ma type setup. Just not sure if it will do enough

Shiggs had some of the nicest buds, sour bubble, they were oozing with triches.

I think someone mentioned it but Doc is running or just finished running a dank looking Sour Grape.

Looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of time in your tent going forward...these strains are very high on my list with Dynasty at the top.

How big of an area? Should be able to put together a very nice light for $500 or less. The b or c series would be way to go. Beavis is finishing his grow with a 4 cob, 400watt vero fixture. His is doing great. Or could put together some sun boards too. They are super efficient, and priced pretty good. The price is coming down on some of he led lighting
