Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

The perfect sun light? I heard those are weak and not good quality chips is that not true?

No, they seem to work great. Shiggs and Nismo have been running them with great results. You just don't want to buy anything with epistars diodes. The epistars will grow, but very inefficient, better off with DE hps or CMH, be cheaper to run.

How big of an area? Should be able to put together a very nice light for $500 or less. The b or c series would be way to go. Beavis is finishing his grow with a 4 cob, 400watt vero fixture. His is doing great. Or could put together some sun boards too. They are super efficient, and priced pretty good. The price is coming down on some of he led lighting
It's just a 39"×39"×75" basicly a 3x3. What would you recommend for that size

Was able to work on my light for an hour earlier. Have all boards mounted, will solder tomorrow, wire boards in series. As soon as my grow is done I'll take the cobs and put on their new home.

. I scratched frame some, big frame to handle by myself lol

It's a 5ft square. If I laid it out right, I'll use the boards only for some veg, then turn on the 18 cobs to flower, right at 1500 watts. I have to stay off internet for a while, so I won't keep buying new lights. It's getting expensive lol .

Start sellin cameras...I heard it can be profitable....

Using din rail is a cheap way to keep inside of control box nice and tidy. Using 3 fuse blocks, 2 for the cob drivers, and 1 for the interface controller board. I just got email saying that I should have the controller parts in by end of the week. Also just going to use one display meter for all 3 channels of the boards, and one for each cob driver

Build I think is the best way to go, that way I can adjust the lights anyway I want, I just don't know if 4 is enough for that size space?

When I get home this evening I'll figure up few things. Probably 6 or 8 chips, 2 drivers- run just half of lights for veg. Then run all for flower. That would cover your tent wall to wall.
