Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

Here's the latest pics from the girls, last night. I believe it's time to flip. There's a sour diesel clone in the far right that would have done great in a scrog, gonna have to give it a try soon. I will put a trellis net on this grow, have a feeling going to need it. Also the next round under the veros will be 6 plants using docbud's high brix kit. Always wanted to try it, so I figured now the time. I only hope i can do half as good as doc and nis, from reading a few journals the quality looks amazing. Since my grows are personal, I might as well try to grow the best.

After 4 rounds of safer, also sprayed the room the tents in with a strong pesticide, I think the mites are under control. Going to spray mite massacre tonight, and again in 2 days. Then I'll flip the switch to flower. This round should have a good yield.

Next round I'm thinking will be 2 kosher kush, 2 gorilla bomb, and 2 critical kush. Gonna get started on the seeds in few weeks, my 3x3 is currently empty, might put 2 dark devil autos

Buck's 1500 Watts Of Vero 29

I had to google the sun boards, I thought they were like the new chill led and quantum boards. Do they have the new bin, S6. Those probably are about the most efficient light out. They throw some serious light out from the vids been watching. I have some on preorder from chill, my dads wanting to try them out.

Hey Buckshot the sunboards are a variation of the other board tech yes. They are set up for 36v so you can put them in the same configurations you would use a cob for. They use the Samsung L561c diodes s6 bin.
The cool thing is they are spaced in a checkerboard. It means more even coverage and no heatsink needed if driven at 2800ma or below (100w)

The chill boards would be neat
To run liquid cooled.

I find nothing by googling "sunboard".
Who makes them?

Subbed . like the build. I have been running cxb3590 for a couple years now. I run 700mA for veg and 1400mA for bloom. I also run full spectrum cobs in both veg and bloom and clone. Having great results. Looking towardd Samsung 561c chips next.

I'm thinking about getting a 75w QB kit for seedlings. I haven't heard anything bad about Samsung. Hey avid, that's probably most efficient way on those 3590's to run, 700 in veg, good thinking
I am looking at chilledledgrowlights for my Samsung's he makes the board himself buys the diodes and floats his own

I use a 50w full spectrum cob from ebay for cloning. Working better than everything eles i used cheap to. Driver cob heat sink fan like $20 delivered

Funny you mentioned chill, I preordered 2 double200w kits, its for my dads closet, he just wants 2 to 3 plants, I thinks that's all he's allowed. I have some cxb3590's I can put together for him. I would like to try the Samsungs. Look pretty cool
He says his kit is twice as powerful as cxb's wattage wise. Because of spectrum it delivers 2:1wattage to cree. He sold a 650w panel to growmau5 and he grew with it in the same spaec 4x4 as his 800w cree bars equaled it. Vitally says his gen2 board is twice as efficent as cree now running at 1050mA max 350mA min. Killing it.

Thats the guy. Super cool and helpful. The only thing deficient in white light is that 660nm peak. So I will add two rails of discrete photo red crees. Still should be very efficient. I like his boards because the LEDs have such good spacing.
There is lots of 660 if you get the right spec and cri.. Check out 3000k/90cri.. You will be pleasantly surprised..

This generation of sunboards is 4000k. So plenty of blue but a bit lacking in deep red. I am adding 66w of Cree xpe photo reds (660nm) and I have two 15w far red spotlights to try and take advantage of flower initiation and Emerson effect. So the boards and XPEs add up to 666w for the 4x4. Yup you guessed it "el diablo" lol.

I have 16x 4000k 80 cri and just ordered 8x 2700k 90 cri. Would it be worth finishing off with some 3000k 90 cri to finish off my 32 cob build? Or what's your thoughts? Or anyone for that matter
This is my second build so I'm like a few levels above noob but still appreciate the feedback!
I would fill the rest with 3000/90.. That spec seems to have it all.. The balance of 2700/90 & 4000/80 should even u out some.. I would just make sure to evenly spread out the 4000's..

4-2-4-3-4-2-4-3
2-4-3-4-2-4-3-4
4-2-4-3-4-2-4-3
2-4-3-4-2-4-3-4

4=4000k
3=3000k
2=2700k

You could swap some 2&3's around every 2nd line to better blend the specs..
But this way you'll be giving that beautiful 90cri a nice spread around the canopy...
Just my. .02$
Cheers

I appreciate it jimmyclone, that sounds like a pretty good line up to me! This build is more focused on flowering so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try and cover all my bases.
