It seems to me to mostly be very long thread with hundreds of pictures contained that are so slow to load (besides the forum itself). It's almost like the image gallery is fragmented.

FWIW, I have experienced slow loading or timing out from time to time and I am on a 1GB connection.
When the site is running smooth the pictures upload fine, and I do not resize them. They are usually between 13 to 16MB each.

This page of my main grow journal appears to be a real challenge for the platform. It takes 60 seconds to load the first time, and about 60% of the pictures never posted. First refresh took 35 seconds and I got 75% of the pictures up. Third time was the charm, 21 seconds to load in and all pictures posted.
This was last week's garden update, consisting of three seperate posts on this one page. Lots of pictures. The first load all of the third post went up, the second post had about 2/3 of the pictures, and the first post, at the top of the page, had no pictures post. With each refresh the page filled in more pictures, working from the bottom up, so the third try gave me the full page.
Most journals I visit have had this problem. I figured you'd get it right eventually. We appreciate all your work.

I'm typing way faster than the platform can keep up with. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's disconcerting, and makes it challenging to maintain the thought. Lol!
No you’re not Sue. I’ve had trouble replying to posts today on some pages because when the image load is blocking up everything, no other scripts seem to be able to run. It took 5 minutes earlier for a reply quote to land in the compose box.... Maybe there’s work happening on the backend? Or the weekend traffic is slowing things down...

I just clicked on Sues Page 124 link - yup that's a very slow loader.
I’m open to anything that’ll make the experience better for the membership. Until we get things all worked out I can be selective about how many I’m posting.

I post a lot of pictures because I grow a lot of plants. 
I won't touch that SuperSueI post a lot of pictures because I grow a lot of plants.
A good quality pic dosent need to mean it's 15mb in size
So I agree in shrinking can be a good thing

I checked the Verizon app and this is the first month ever I’ve used more bandwidth then my kid and I’ve used a lot more this month. This site is the only thing I can think of that’s really changed.
Ok, that explains it. I got hit with the threat of an extra $15 two days before the end of the month. Viewing away from my WiFi. Hmmmm.... I’ll keep that in mind going forward.
I would for sure keep an eye out when you're away from WiFi until the site gets dialed in bandwidth wise
