Thank you!!! ❤❤✌

Edit. Ok so I did all that and uplaoded a pic...woohoo...then I found that not only did it not strip the metadata off the image like I understand you used to on the prvipus forum version, but you also display it all right there for everyone to see...please correct me if I am wrong here, but I dont want the whole internet knowing exactly what device i use, when I took the photo, how I took it, my cock size etc...please can you kindly delete the image out of my gallery for me as I've tried and I cant work out how to do it myself...

Its pretty safe to say I will NOT be uploading ANY images until this is sorted out ...its not legal everywhere you know guys!
Maybe it was like this before and because I used the app I just didnt know. But to my knowledge it never used to actively display all the image meta data for all to see...

*end rant*
Hopefully you and everyone else know by now that it's all stripped off, there is no risk.

Sorry for the delay getting through here, we've been beyond busy.
near ready to give up. this old dog cant learn new tricks
Are you okay Nivek, have you gotten the hang of it yet?

Maybe someone can lend him a hand.

Not sure if it's just me. I don't think so..
But the photos look way clearer to me now. No matter what size file I uploaded them as in the past- my pics on 420 always had a sort of blurry look to them when I zoomed in.

I wouldnt want faster speed if it came at the expense of the resolution of the pics - because the improved clarity of the photos is blowing me away and I love it.

Can we see the threads started by other members like we can see our own list? I was thinking of dropping the SweetSue's threads from my signature to make room for the opioid ones when I noticed I couldn't pull up anyone else's.

You're doing a fabulous job guys. Hugs! I'm on the phone.

This is a fine example where my request to keep an editable list of links in the upcoming blog would prove useful.

One link in your sig to a blog of editable previous links you can continue to update.

Which is exactly what my SweetSue's threads is. There are a number of resources I've created with this membership I want members to find easily.

And this would work so much better in a blog overlord. All these years and I haven't explored the uses of the blogs other than to store material.

I think so, you only have 420 minutes to edit a thread post. So any new links or revisions get lost in another post among a lot of chatter.

The blog way you could keep them all in the first post if it was editable. Then all the chatter and replies could follow on the blog.

EDIT: just an idea to keep everything organized, so we aren't chasing a topic or instructions, or even updates to recipes all around various threads and post while also giving us the ability to clean up a ton of sig links.

If it is possible, I would like to see the "Search Thread" feature added back
When you say "Search Thread" do you mean the ability to search for posts within a thread? If so, you can do that. While viewing a thread you click "Search" click "Everywhere" and select "This thread".

Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you for pointing
that out. The old previous forum had it at the top of each thread.

Hi both - thanks Rob, where is “search” located? I’m not seeing it...

Well thre’s the magnifying glass at top of page - but that’s a global site search so far as I can tell...

The standard "search" for the entire site. There are tabs like the smileys that give you more options. You will find it under advanced search, however I took a quick look at it. Seems it may only search within a group of threads and not the single thread. I will have to investigate further to verify.

Ok thanks - so either way, sounds like you have to leave the thread to do it. Something for the ‘non-urgent’ request pile ;) (as is the smokin’ winkie!)

Yeah there's no 'this thread' option. Searches everything which isn't ideal.
Though it has worked to find me what I want so far- and no you don't have to leave the current thread

Hmmmm, I have a feeling the "enhanced" search script we purchased is not setup yet, in addition to the default search.

Added to the list and submitted a request to get that done. It should magically appear within a day or two. :)

Thank you,

It sure helped searching for specific information in large threads like Doc Buds Q&A thread.

It also is handy if you use a keyword like "update" in your own thread.
Then you can see all of your update post and clear the other talk.

Just wanted to say thanks again for all of your hard work! I know you have probably had less sleep than I have with a teething little one, just getting us to where we are now :thanks:

My only issue... well "bug" I am truly experiencing is with the apostrophe. Any time I type "dont" which auto corrects to "don't" the keyboard is minimized and while I continue to type I press random buttons and links. This happens when I type a word without the apostrophe and the keyboard auto corrects. I'm not sure if it is an android issue or glitch, and may be something totally unrelated to your end, but it is the only thing really keeping me from using the new improved forum. I have noticed some words like "I'm" auto correct to "I'" without the m and then take me to the next line down as if I presses "return".

I don't have the time or patience to manually add apostrophes on my phone. And the constant kick back out of the keyboard makes typing then having to work back a page or two a tedious task this dabber rather avoid all together.

Other than this issue, which may only be effecting me personally, things seem to be coming into form and members adapting to the new format.

I do agree that the text being auto saved has been a saving grace to my dilemma.

Anyways just wanted to mention this little bug to see if any other are having the same problem or if it just a "me" issue.

Thanks again for your hard work! :ganjamon:

I'm very comfortable with the new software revision as I've been using it on a number of other forums. The only negative I am experiencing has to do with photo extensive pages which can take 2-3 minutes to fully load on a high speed internet connection.

I believe it has to do with the default resolution that is displayed on journal entries. Many sites have a default display resolution of 640x480 but if you click the image it will open to full resolution that was uploaded. Also a number of sites I've used the software on there is an option of resolution at time of upload.

Thanks 420Magazine for all the hard work you are doing to give us a great forum.
