Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

Damn, Boo, everything looks good!
Plants are all super happy, grow tents look outstanding, and good on you for helping out those cats!

(although the ones getting neutered may not appreciate it as much as they should...🐱)

Years ago there was a big, friendly feral cat that used to hang around the (RV) shop- he'd catch a ground squirrel, bring him into the shop, settle in, and proceed to eat everything (fur, bones, teeth, etc.) except the little green gall bladder...Then he'd take a 4 hour nap, and go out and do it again...one of the employees finally took her home, and she lived (fat and sassy) for another 12 years.
I already had 2 cats or I'd have taken her home with me...
I like cats...good juju headed your way,Boo!

Hi all! I thought I’d drop a little update to demonstrate “proof of life”… :cheesygrinsmiley: Let’s start with the autoflower tent!
Proof of life made me lol!
I finally got the tent temperature dialed in! :yahoo: The humidity could be higher, but it’s way better than it was.!
Omg the humidity is so low - said no Queenslander ever.

I envy your low humidity.
Just a little view of the set up. Now for some baby pics.
Blackberry continues fight. That’s just fine by me!
Mimosa Cake is doing well, she’s got a good color and I’m looking forward to bringing this one to harvest! @StoneOtter - yes, she is a mix of Mimosa and Wedding Cake…YUM!
Orange Sherbet is the biggest of them all and I thought about up potting her before she goes to flower….
but I noticed this… :hmmmm: I thought I used brand new Pro Mix for these two (Mimosa Cake and Orange Sherbet) but I must have mixed the two cups with fresh ProMix and that must be one of the seeds that didn’t sprout. Oof! I really hope it’s the Wookies. :cheesygrinsmiley: I’m going to wait a bit to see if it gets a little bigger and then try to untangle them and transplant.🤞
Two for the price of one. The Wookiee is my sons fav smoke. My last Wookie was insane.
On to the Skunk:

Temps and humidity are good here too. I love those little oil heaters!
Nice and healthy, mite free growth. Yay! She is in a 5 gal pot right now and feels likes she will be ready for a feeding tomorrow.
A view of her home.

And a view of both homes. I’m so psyched to have the tents working out (so far!).
The pride you take in your grow area makes my heart sing. Not one perfectly placed thing is lost on me. Good job Boobird. Xo
I’m not sure if any of you have noticed the plastic storage containers in my yard from the summer grow pics…but those are feral cat houses I made. It was so cold last winter with a combined several feet of snow and there were two cats that were hanging out in my back yard when I bought this place - I had to do something for them! I have never fed them and I‘ve watched them hunt and kill squirrels and birds and bunnies, but I think someone must be feeding them too, as they are all very large cats. Anyway, that number has grown to 7 gorgeous cats, but clearly they are not spayed or neutered. I reached out to a local rescue and today was finally the day that we set traps to catch them, spay/neuter them, and then return to the back of my yard. We got a couple of them today and hopefully the rest of them tomorrow. Please send some good juju their way so they can get some much needed medical attention.
I am sending so much good juju their way. You are a good person Boo. You were proactive in providing change, stopping the cycle of both hunger and hardship for those cats. You are a doer. I love a doer.

Happy early Valentine’s Day! :love::love::love:
Happy Valentines Day to you too. Make sure to take a moment today to celebrate all you have achieved in the last year. You are a strong, independent woman. And a great role model to the women around you, from the baby to the ladies. You rock chic!

#girlpower

LOve those side by side tents! Looks like a little city of light. 🏙️
Let’s start with the autoflower tent!
I never take the plastic off either. :)
Blackberry continues fight. That’s just fine by me!
A miniature plant! I hope it doesn't flower for 10 weeks.
Orange Sherbet is the biggest of them all and I thought about up potting her before she goes to flower….
Do that!
I really hope it’s the Wookies. :cheesygrinsmiley: I’m going to wait a bit to see if it gets a little bigger and then try to untangle them and transplant.
Oh good, another reason for
Nice and healthy, mite free growth. Yay! She is in a 5 gal pot right now and feels likes she will be ready for a feeding tomorrow.
I can't wait to see that thing reach for the rafters!
Please send some good juju their way so they can get some much needed medical attention.
Sent, and sending some for the poor woodland creatures they're eating!

@Carmen Ray, this is the post.

The white one is a Costway Brand and the model number is listed on the pic below. I ordered it online thru walmart
PXL_20230217_151730417.jpg
the black one is a Home Leader brand and I got it on Amazon
PXL_20230217_151649063.jpg
Thanks so much Boo, this looks ideal. I will look at local retailers and see if I can find a little one like these.

Hi All. :ciao: Sorry I have been MIA for so long. Just been busy and lazy too.:cheesygrinsmiley: The little Blackberry and Mimosa Cake autos never reached more than 2” so they got tossed a couple of weeks ago.:eye-roll: However, the Orange Sherbet auto and the Skunk clone are doing well. Here is proof:

I can’t remember if I did any training on the OS…probably should have!
PXL_20230323_195709284.MP.jpg
She‘s about 14” tall, and has lots of long pistils (Trichomes too!)
PXL_20230323_195625443.MP.jpg
PXL_20230323_195611229.MP.jpg

She is 4 weeks in flower. Likely 4 more to go!

PXL_20230323_195527448.PORTRAIT.jpg

She’s got a lot of budsites so we shall see how she ends up! Next up is the Skunk clone. She is beautiful!
PXL_20230323_195159804.jpg

She is right at 17” tall and almost 2 feet wide. I plan to flip her to flower in mid April….or maybe just wait and put her outside as part of the summer grow. :hmmmm: It’s nice to finally have the tents dialed in.
PXL_20230323_195718140.jpg

Thats all for me today. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Thanks for looking!

Sorry the first 2 didn't work out, but the replacements are looking great!
That little auto is going to be a productive girl- nothin' but buds!
She is right at 17” tall and almost 2 feet wide.
Funny- last year, I grew 3 plants in a row that ended up 17" tall, and 2 feet wide.. 🤔

Your Skunk clone just getting started- she's going to be a big one- even bigger if she finishes outside...
Nice work, Boo!

Nice looking pair Boo!

And that's a great looking grow-space! :Rasta:

Boo your tents looks so spick and span. Sorry you lost your blackberry and mimosa cake autos. Your orange sherbet looks good though, and the clone is a beaut.

:ciao: Hi all. Let’s do quotes first:

ALL HAIL THE GROW QUEEN!

:adore:👸:adore:👸:adore:👸
Lol. RIDICULOUS!
Sorry the first 2 didn't work out, but the replacements are looking great!
Thanks Carcass. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 Wookies seeds I had didn’t sprout so I’m down to 1 and am kind of afraid to try….I will though!
I like your setup.
It looks cozy.

Plants look sexy.🍆
Thanks you sexy thing. Your set up is also looking cozy, and sexy with those gorgeous plants.
Hi Boo, nice going!
Hi Stone, thanks!
Nice looking pair Boo!
Thanks GDB!
Boo your tents looks so spick and span. Sorry you lost your blackberry and mimosa cake autos. Your orange sherbet looks good though, and the clone is a beaut.
Thanks Carmen. I’m pretty sloppy sometimes but I do try to take good care of the tents.
Loads of early frost on the OS and that Skunk would look even more amazing outside than it does in! Are you going to train it or let it run wild?

Tents look brand new. :)
There was a lot and there still is!
PXL_20230430_154906966.jpg

This is an Orange Sherbet nug. They are frosty AF and smell amazing. The smoke is also very nice. I only got about an ounce but it is gooood stuff!

Lets talk about chicks man…Let’s start with the skunk:
PXL_20230429_122604617.MP.jpg
PXL_20230429_122122019.MP.jpg
PXL_20230429_122103064.PORTRAIT.jpg

I flipped her to flower on the 14th of April and it took about 10 days for her to fully show flower. She’s a heavy breather and, after opening the tent two mornings in a row and finding the entire inside dripping wet I got off my butt and set Up the AC Infinity fan which took care of the problem immediately. That is such a nice piece of equipment. I did a little bit of training with her but obviously not a lot! I plan to bring her out of the tent one morning this week and do an extreme defol on her because she needs it.
Next up : the summer grow! I’ve got three little photos that I’m super excited about. It’s going to be a fruity summer! I up-potted all three from solos to one gallons today:
PXL_20230508_172204921.MP.jpg

All three had a cup full of roots.
PXL_20230508_173123823.PORTRAIT.jpg

All three of these seeds were gifts from fellow growers and I‘m so glad they germinated well. I had only intended to grow two, but…I initially dropped the Banana Kush (thank you @Heavenly Hybrid ) and the Lemon OG Candy (thank you @Virgin Ground ). When I got up the morning after planting them, the Lemon Candy was sitting on top of the soil. It was like the root had grown up instead of down. Oof. So, I picked it up and made a new little hole for it and “replanted” it. It looked pretty awful for most of the day so I dropped another seed since I’m way behind on getting things going for summer - that was the Sour Tangie (thank you again @Heavenly Hybrid ). I absolutely love the Tangie auto I grew earlier this year so the thought of a growing a giant one makes me very happy. :cheesygrinsmiley: So, I’ve got my limit at the moment. I figure the Skunk should harvest around July timeframe so I may get a couple of autos ready to go. Anyway, that’s about it for now. I’m sorry I’ve been absent so much lately. I’m here watching journals, just been lazy about posting. Thank you to all who are watching, I really appreciate it!

And here I thought you might have been just goofing off and not growing or something...
I stand corrected!
Skunk is a beauty, and the summer crew looks eager to get started- great looking bunch, Boo!
I plan to bring her out of the tent one morning this week and do an extreme defol on her because she needs it.
I don't do any much defoliating, but I think you're right- that one really needs it!

Unfortunately 2 of the 3 Wookies seeds I had didn’t sprout
There's plenty more where those came from, just let me know...
After all, the ATF I'm growing came from the Va. seed fairy...💚

This is an Orange Sherbet nug. They are frosty AF and smell amazing.
I'll take your word on the smell but the frost I can see all the way in Los Angeles! :nerd-with-glasses:
the skunk...
...has that traditional Boo-shape that we learned to love (and vote for) lo those years ago! It's booful. :)
the entire inside dripping wet
Well this ↓ will definitely help with that.
I plan to bring her out of the tent one morning this week and do an extreme defol on her because she needs it.
I'm looking forward to looking through the middle!

So pretty. Can't wait for them to be monsters tied down against the wind.
