Hi all. Here's a little Monday update! I did some LUX measurements today and as you can see, the two lights are still very similar. Here is the Atreum Hydra light measurements at 12, 18, and 24 inches:

And here are the measurements for the current SF lights at 12, 18, and 24 inches:

These measurements were taken directly below the lights, so I still need to figure out how to get relatively accurate measurements on the edges.

Now let's talk babies!

Dosidos was a slow starter but she's plugging along nicely now. Purple Lemonade was the first to crack and has been the speedy one here so far....as you can see in the pic above.

They both have their second set of true leaves coming in so their next feeding will be 1 gram per gallon of MC.

Perhaps 4th time is a charm for the Dark Devil Auto? She certainly looks more normal than #3..

Fingers crossed for a semi-normal (hopefully biggie) Dark Devil auto this time. Finally, prizes from the PhotM contest are starting to arrive:

I even got an extra auto Kalashnikov seed! Their arrival may change my mind about the next tent grow - I'm really excited about the Amnesia autos. Shit, I'm excited about 20 21 free seeds!!

Hi all! Happy Thursday! I moved Miss Chocodope into the Atreum tent today so that I could check LUX readings with an actual plant in it. She seemed to like it.

I've got both of them at 100% and they both show 96 watts being drawn. I was a little surprised by the amount of heat they put out. It seems to be more than the current set, but I didn't actually check the temps. I need a new thermometer so maybe I'll get one of the new "COVID style" ones and check both sets. I can see how a summer grow might be helped the 6 foot extension cord to get the driver outside of the tent. I think I should also measure the thickness of the heatsinks on both sets too. Babies are coming along nicely and they are all 1 week old today.

Running drivers maxed out will always make them hottest! I ran my lights close to the top range in the shed last winter to use the extra heat it would put out.

Happy Sunday all! Here's a little baby update. All three are 10 days old.
First up is Dosidos. She is the smallest of the three and her nodes are very close together so far.

She's got a little tilt to her...

Working on that third set of leaves.

Next up is Purple Lemonade. She is a giant amongst the others!

Leaves are already as wide as the cup.

She's got a good cupful of roots going too.

And finally, here is Dark Devil #4. She's plugging along well....so far so good.

She's got a little twist in her second set of leaves. It reminds me of one of those little wind toys...a pinwheel?

They are all working on their 3rd set of true leaves. Once those are in, I will bump to 2 grams per gallon of MC.

That's about it for now. The next 10 days should start to get a little more interesting.

At the last grow I attended the OCD folks wouldn't stay in their designated section. They kept changing seats, sometimes 3-4 times a page!
