Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

at this point in the grow i just kinda stand there and go "oh look isn't that nice, i have nothing to do" :cheesygrinsmiley:

wonder if @Jack420 feels that way after mixing nutes for his flood table ... :p

That was the hardest lesson for me to learn. Look but don’t do anything beyond what’s absolutely called for.

it's everybody's worst nightmare lol :p

my best friend can't get over the fact i mix one thing, toss it at plants in straight perlite, set the light, and stay back lol :cheesygrinsmiley:
he was a solid soil grower, but had to move, and has been somersaulting through all kind of stuff since.

That's actually reassuring! I keep feeling like more needs to be done...since I switched to MC it was like turning on cruise control :Rasta:

it's not just nutes. it' s having the environment set and knowing when to make changes as well.. stuff can still happen, but for now it's just stay the course.

Environment has to be #1. Screw that up and you chase your tail everywhere else, wasting time and $$.

Water quality, and especially the relationship between TDS and pH -- and getting to a stable pH -- is also critical, and something so many people don't get.

From lurking on your threads for quite a while, you've definitely got it all dialed in. It's fun to watch. But so boring...one killer harvest after another. :p

in case anyone has been watching i haven't been ph'ing at all just yet. will probably start to ph at up pot. i'm on the fence about it. it has shown to make no difference at this stage. i do use RO though from start to finish.

I should clarify - TDS especially as it relates to total alkalinity. Those of us in regions with extremely "hard" tap water need to dilute with RO -- or like you, use RO exclusively -- otherwise using pH down is waste as you get constant drift upwards from all the calcium carbonate dissolved in it. I hate watching people chase their pH without understanding the basics of their water chemistry.

even soil growers have issues with our water. unless you're outdoor your on some kind of filtration here.

how she goes guys ? hope everyone had a happy safe growalleen .. :cheesygrinsmiley:
anyone else notice there wasn't any real marketing hoopla over croptober this year ?

morning shots ..

not doing too bad but i got a bunch of ground huggers. having a light rig biased red (ish) will encourage it. these new ones are touch extreme though.

the gorilla glue crew

the bushier one was the first seed out of the gate, and the first up out of the cup. think i'm keeping an eye on that one. both look good at this point though.

the powerplant bunch

couple of them are definitely powering through. one's a bit a stunty and showing a couple issues. the larger two were chasing the gorilla glue by a couple hours breaking the media surface. they all came up the same day. i had to shove a couple down to make sure they shed the shell .. :p

the issue gal could be showing a def besides stunty

there's a couple things going on really. it might have had an early def, i suspect it's a bit hungrier than the others. that isn't all though..

like most of my crew this one is a serious ground hugger. so the leaves have been getting wet when the plant's been fed, and then remained in contact with the media. with a bit of a def in the background, the leaves became susceptible to further trouble.

i have had them all on veg strength mc nutes for two feeds now, and probably could have gone harder one feed earlier. the smallest wouldn't have handled it so well at that point though.

i'm ramping them next feed. i don't mix for individual plants ever, as that's the grow style they'll face rolling through to flower. i had late coming cbdream this run, which has held them up a touch. i'm done with that though, and am going hard from here forward.. :cheesygrinsmiley:

the cbdream gals are late waking up to the party

i'm a site update or two behind as well i see ...

one of the gorilla glue looked like it might have had some predation damage

had a good look. it's possible but hasn't spread and is consistent with holes i've seen develop from forced growth / genetics before. it is more common in hardcore led though. maybe more comment on that later.

probably will amount to nothing but have kept a six on it. not concerned but will be ready if i see anything else. the damage is straight through, and will become a hole as the plant leaf expands.

really liking the leaf overhang though.

that powerplant is a bit of slacker .. :p
came up as a leaner and sort of self lst'd. messed around with it a bit then left fair enough.
i want more of the perlite locked up in roots before i up pot. i usually make the jump when i see roots at the drain hole.

the cbdream are gonna hold me up a bit, but i don't up pot everyone at the same time. the cups can support the larger ones longer no worries.

nothing is ever perfect. nothing is ever disaster. i adjusted the light to 75 - 80 %. i'm ramping the feed for the larger gals a few tenths though. they are getting a decent dry period too now- fed every second day. i really like that.

probably a wk from up pot. maybe less.
