Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

Maybe it's the lighting in the pic, but am I seeing the leaves looking a tick on the pale side? Not to where there is an issue, but maybe the very start?

Got ya. Much better overall. I always hate to ask, especially since my pics are usually off on exact shade too. But I'd rather be dead wrong 100 times for that 1 time it helps. :)

short continuation from yesterday..

northern lights before defol....

and how it looks after...

everyone got the same treatment. i stopped just short of pulling branches for clones. hope that happens in the next day or so. i want these moved to the jungle room for flower.

they've gotten big enough to choke out a couple of the interior leaves...

this is mostly due to lack of light. the leaf isn't really catching anything, so the plant consumes it. i'm also right at the cusp of needing to feed more. the next bump puts me into flower range, so we are moving the plants along that path.

this leaf was the same thing. stuck in the center of the canopy, it got light starved and consumed. i was surprised to find these two, hadn't realized things had got that thick. the defol timing was off a little bit, but the plants are definitely gonna like it.

have a couple other tiny issues....

minor nute tipping on some of the older leaves. caused when i left the mix at 5.5g / gal and let them grow in to it. can see a slight cal-mag def showing on newer leaves, which quickly fades as well.

this one is showing a slight n tox, and a bit of light burn from being too close. note the super skinny tips and curl at the very end. this one probably feeds just a touch lighter. none of the plants are in any danger, and everything is well over all. there is no need to take any direct action at the moment.

the whole bunch after the clean up..

i dropped the floor to take care of the light burn, and give them something to shoot for over the next day or so.

everyone is all up and perky this morning..

still at 5.5g / gal on RO and nothing else. :)

in the last 24 hrs they stretched in to the 24 inches of head room for the light ..

they didn't have far to get there. most are still under, but a couple shot up a little.

find they don't much like to get much under 24 inches from the cobs. can get as close as 18 in flower, but even then they like it a bit further away. :)

Trim them and drop the floor, and the plants start messing with you! They look great, but if 18" is your minimum headroom you will Shirley have to drop the floor again :).

who is shirley .. ? :bongrip:

Looking good over u def have a jungle in the making brother sorry took me so long to make it but I always do n love how healthy ur girls look props fam

What's the drama with the jungle room??
my mom is super sick. she can't take much more. should be in the hospital but they are over run with more critical cases, and they are freaked about the chinese thing.

dad got sick now too. they both have a flue and respiratory infection. dad not near as bad. i been helping with what i can. took holidays this wk to be around.

the jungle room is at their place

Sorry you are in such a stressful situation.
Hope the folks heal fast.

This flu season has been crazy. Almost everone I know ( IRL) has had the crud.

Oh man that's terrible. Send those freaking out over the corona virus to urgent care places to get a thermometer in the ass, and let the really sick folks through!

I hope they find a spot for your mom soon. Good on ya for taking the week. It's good to look after your folks when they need help.
:peace:

it's family. you do what you should.
wish my sister would step up once in a while. she's kind of a tit.

good news is mom hasn't got worse. probably even a bit better. it's been some time so don't wanna be over confident.

well so much for the move. stuff wasn't so good so i just did a little cleaning up for them and cleared the walk.
left the plants. didn't even look in the jungle room when i was there. gonna shoot for tomorrow.

making a bite to eat and maybe have a mini update... :)

piles going on and no real update... mom's surging up much better but dad took a left turn.

docs have them on meds they keep vomiting up.. i said fuck it and told them to discontinue. got them on a couple thc canna pills for some sleep..

i keep running back and forth to my place. here right now feeding the plants. they look great. super stressed over getting them moved. i'm really in the back end of the window. i gots some pics for a wkend update later if i can manage.

my manager called pissed about shit i need to get done online. so much for time off. they do this every time i'm on "holiday". they track my time online, so i opened the content in another tab and am leaving it open. hope they have fun. have other priorities. irony is it's a course i need to complete on work - life balance and workplace psychological health.

sorry for the rant.. back to work..

i am super behind on this ...

hempys were a bit crowded..

they went looking for new digs...

things are looking a bit brighter for them...

jungle room should give them some space for stretch. these are the smallest plants i've put in to the jungle room. probably the most managed too.

let the hempys get used to the new place for a day in veg mode, while i cleaned up and got fort st veg/clone ready for the next run.

i raised the shelves up to seedling level and got the air pumps organized for a couple simple bubble cloners..

then gave the girls a clean up and took cuttings for clones...

i had to jar the cuttings up for travel. the scissors are sitting in iso to keep them disinfected. somehow some plant material got into it and colored it.

they weren't thrilled about the trim and registered their discontent ... :cheesygrinsmiley:

it will be good for them though. i cleaned out the centers a fair bit. flipped them when they got back in the room.

cleaned up the cuttings and got them prepared for clones.

one of the bubble cloners all filled up...

i put some straight in to hempy cups as well. i have about the same success rate with either method. maybe just a touch better with the cloner.

got a new bunch at the hempy dome...

i normally take clones that are a bit bigger. with the training most of the stuff i would normally take was at the canopy. i left it to see how it would produce.

the bubble cloner condo district...

from here it is survival of the fittest ...

the light is about 25% and i have the burple on full time.
clones are under a 24 / 0 schedule.
they got a super weak MC solution - 2g / 6L RO. everyone is getting a freshen tomorrow at the same level, then will be left for a bit.

the jungle room gals are still on 5.5g / gal RO and nothing else.
looked like a touch of an over feed, so am watching to see where they go.
