Blue Mystic In Canna Terra Pro Using Cheap LED

Hey Seedling, plants are looking great! :ganjamon: I'm with @Duggan on this one, give them another two weeks and you'll have some monsters on your hands over there before flip :morenutes::headbanger:

Lion......cheers.... :passitleft:

Yeah....I need to focus in on something else. My next big task is getting a good AC unit to cool down my whole apartment and keep the looming humidity in check.

Also, I am gonna see how high I can get this light to go.....and see how that second light will fit in for bloom.

I never really mentioned that first light. They are sponsors here so I guess it safe to talk about it. Viparspectra 300W dimmable with a built in timer.

I was thinking about it last night about a second tent....and that Viparspectra being the veg light. I would need...a tent and another exhaust fan....but no carbon filter needed for a veg tent huh? A second tent may not be that far off in the future as I thought. I might just need some extra light for the flower tent.

I used light weight chain for my blurple, with 3/4" nylon cable clamps over the poles at the front and rear of the tent. I was able to raise the light to within 6" of the tent's top. I made S-hooks out of links from a slightly heavier duty chain to connect the chain to the light. A small cable tie every five links on the hanging chains made it easy to keep it level.

A light slightly smaller (6" / 15cm) in each dimension of your tent's footprint is ideal. This gives you a much more even light distribution. You can achieve this with multiple smaller lights as well. Multiple smaller lights has a bit of an advantage, as you can have the lights at different heights as needed. This can also be achieved with multiple independently dimmable drivers in a larger fixture.

Depending on the fan, you may be able to get away with just one. Use a tee, and add dampers so you can control the airflow through each tent.

I am gonna see what I can do with what I got.....cause I got a lot of stuff sitting around. If that's not enough I got a machine shop to borrow from. The biggest issue I see is the "t" shape of the structure of the tent. If I am understanding correctly you are using the outside poles....the square shape to attach to. It is a good idea I think anyway.

I was checking out your new light you won....I can see in some of the photos what your doing. Congratulations on the light btw. Those look pretty decent and I hope it works out good for ya.

So we are gonna drench today....what I see here is 1ml of transplant per gallon...plus 1ml of Tea? I have been doing 5ml of Tea each time since the droopy days.

Is that the prescription @Duggan

I am gonna kick back and have this seasonal beer and maybe a bowl of Durban and figure this out here.

Cheers Seedling :bongrip::ganjamon:

I've got/had a bad case of them fokkerz...the 3 girlz I have going, and all my garden seedlings...they weren't phazed by safers or h2o2...got some predatory mites...stickies and fly paper...hopefully when I get home next week, lil' buggers are fully exterminated...stickies and fly paper were getting pretty full when we left on Thurs. ...cheerz... :high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

Yeah....I pretty much stopped with everything but the safers sticky strips. I quarter them, peel one side and cover as much of the soil surface as possible. When they are filled up, I flip them and peel the second side. They seem to do the best that way.

The gnats seem to get stuck to the edges more than the middle, so smaller is definitely working better. I am gonna be buying another pack of stickies this morning, and loading them up to the max. If they are not reduced significantly this weekend I will consider another H2o2 drench, but I don't think it will be necessary this time.

I am seriously considering buying another bag to fill a second #15 pot....so I could have a lot more soon. I think I can kill them with this method faster than they can reproduce though, so it should be controlled soon enough....I am planning on starting seeds in a couple weeks....and I need them gone before I will get any seeds wet.

Good morning Seedling. Just a word of caution.....don't start your new crop so early on. If you only have the one tent,..then u should wait until they have about a month left, that way when the present ones are done blooming , harvested and outta there, you can simply move the one month olds into the tent to veg. Understand? I just started my next crop last night , about 4-6 weeks left with my present crop...just sayin ok! Cheers man!

Did some pruning and SCing. Looks like I do need a bigger tent...or just less topping next time. I am hoping to see some vertical stretch the next couple weeks. The heat is setting in here...sitting at 80°F inside the tent. Getting some AC happening here in the next few weeks is gonna be critical. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

No problems there....we are looking at about 8 weeks after the flip. I can wait it out until around the 4 week mark. From the looks of things in this tent....how many would you recommend I run in there next time?...I feel like one big plant might be your answer. I know you said it once already and it is echoing in my mind every time I unzip and stick my head in now.

It depends entirely on how you intend to grow them. The extremes are one plant with a long veg time, or cover the floor with solo cups and go to 12/12 after they develop the third node. Training also is part of it. I grow four plants with eight colas each in a 2' X 4' tent. I have to keep on top of training for this to succeed.

Before you grow envision what you want your plants to look like at harvest, then make it so.

I definitely don't see a SOG being my style...it would be interesting, but I think I would rather grow full size plants. If I was cloning...it might be tempting, but starting from seed it seems like a waste.

I was thinking 4 plants initially, but seeing how wide these are getting....2 is already overlapping. I can easily see with a little more training and moving from a 1gallon pot to a 15 gallon pot, that I could easily fill this space with one plant.
