Blue Mystic In Canna Terra Pro Using Cheap LED

I don't know if it's my imagination, but the little girl is looking bigger already.....not so much sag anyways.

If you can....get two or three 5 gal. jugs. They will be pricey at first cuz you have to pay for the deposit on the jugs , but every time you take them back to exchange for full ones they will be much , much cheaper OK. Get distilled if you have a choice between distilled ,...or spring OK!
Now ...those lil beauties won't be small for long. Keep control of the runaway leaders when they appear and try and keep the canopy as level as you can. In a couple weeks you should be able to flip them....yeepa , yeepa!:high-five:

I think I found a winner. 10 gallon nursery pot.

They are pretty large....smaller diameter and taller. I might be tempted to pull that 15 gallon and stick her into this. I honestly can't find anything larger enough to catch run off....and the extra water that will be needed is kind of unmanageable.

The thing about the 5 gallon jugs is transporting them....no car....no fun. I am really considering the berkey for filtration...as for water testing what exactly should I be looking for? This berkey thing filters pretty much everything bad. I can see water reports from the city...but a few years dated.

They said it was a #10.....I checked out a new hydro shop....I thought I checked the bottom. For some reason in Canada they have to give the Liter size...and the bottoms always show gallon size.

Still....taller and smaller footprint means I should be able to fit three of these in there.

More water troubles....for one I am clearing out the stock in the close stores around me. I went to three different stores and two were bare shelves. I am not sure how long until they restock.

The third store....the little old woman burst out laughing when she saw me coming with 4 gallons.....I guess it's kind of unusual.

I have a couple options that I see.

Stores here deliver for a small cost...sometimes only like $5. I could order a few cases at a time and have them delivered....which is kind of strange.

I can buy a filter system.

:high-five:.....Yup!.....Be nice to have a decent sized tent too......just sayin.....:surf:

You'll definitely need a bigger tent to grow trees. You'll need at least 2' X 2' per tree. You may want to consider a 2' X 4' tent for flowering two trees at a time. You'll be able to reach all of the plant for training & pruning without moving them. Perhaps put them on turntables so you can rotate them to make it even easier on yourself. Whatever you get, make sure it's as tall as possible. You'll never curse too much height! My plants always had some of the colas grow up past the light in a 5' tall tent, even without a filter and the light as high as possible. I'm now using 7' - 8' tall tents in the 7' configuration.

I really don't like moving plants in and out of the tent. It's a potential source of damage, and my back does not like the weight 10 gallons of water logged soil comes in at.

Get the filter system. An RO will pay for itself within a year. You can get a "5 Stage Home Drinking Reverse Osmosis System With Total 12 Water Filters 75GPD" for $189.00 with free shipping on e-bay now. If you only use it for your plants. that will last at least 18 months., before you need to buy more filters. Extra filter sets without the membrane for this RO are less than $30, and each set should last six months or more. You don't need to hook up the post carbon filters if all you use it for is the plants. Coffee sure tastes a lot better using water from the RO as well.

I just got off the phone with a small supplier....$7 for 5 gallon delivered...$10 deposit for the bottles and a minimum of three bottles delivered at a time. There is some sort of deal also where they have cards that are pre-loaded...like you put $50 on the card and they scan the card each time you fill. The first time you load a card they double it...so $50 would turn into $100.

I am gonna try it out for a while. It is cheaper and easier than what I have been doing.

I am reluctant to put an RO system in my apartment...I rent and not sure how long I am staying. I will definitely need to move before I get the 5x8 flowering tent.

Yup...good call! To some , it may seem expensive , but lemmy tell ya...there's nothin like using distilled with NO worriez. it will make your life so much easier. When you figure out the cost for watering...per grow, it still makes a lot of sense. I use about 2, to 300 $ hundred ..per grow...pfft,..that's only about an ounce and a half of produce...big deal eh! cheers.:high-five:

It definitely kills a lot of problems. The cost isn't that big of a deal for me. Once I get going with it I will see how it works, but I don't see any issues at all.

For people who know me irl, they would tell you I treat my dog and my plants (all of them even my house plants.) Better than myself.

Having the assurance of clean water on a regular basis is well worth the cost they are asking.

When we moved out of the apartment, I left the self-piercing tap for the water supply, and put a rubber patch over the hole in the drain pipe. Cost was less than $20. You can also adapt them to either a kitchen sink or outdoor faucet, and use a float valve in your receiving container.

With 1 week of the cook done...I am considering selection. I have 7 strains possible, 8 if you are counting the Killer A5...but I'm not cause I want to save it up until I am more comfortable and confident.

I have it down to 2 groups....either 2 Lemon Thai Kush with that Black Cherry Punch.....that sounds good.

Or

2 Kali China with the Bubbas gift.....I really want to see both these plants as well....I could also run the Hashplant S1 from Ace as well here....

The other two are Blue Mystic....and the Lanny...which I think are gonna sit in the vault for a while.
