Blue Mystic In Canna Terra Pro Using Cheap LED

RO systems are pretty wasteful from what I've read, you have to run like 3 or 4 gallons to get 1, I think....

I get fresh and free spring water!
I am also looking at the berkey filter....

A bit pricey....but it would be used for everything...even the dog.

I need to upgrade my air conditioning before July hits first though. It's gonna get real sweaty here, real quick.

So I guess the main difference between RO and the Berkey is it leaves minerals in the water. We don't want that do we?

Oh yeah...it says I in there it takes RO systems 2 gallons to make one. What happens to that gallon of water that disappears?

That water flushes the membrane RO it keeps working. ROs usually have a connection to home's drain, but they can be directed to a holding tank for other uses.

Can you get your water tested....it's best. Then you will know what your dealing with.

I can get it tested for sure. We will get there. I am hoping to meet up with this woman that is a clean water fanatic. She lives here, so she probably knows what the water is like here cause it's actually her job....to sell filtration systems that is.

I went into my bookmarks and pulled up this....

From all the signs....dark green colour and clawing....it looks like we got a little too much N huh?

I gave the larger one Doc's Tea yesterday. I am gonna see if I can grab a bag of that BioTerra soilless mix on my way back today. If the little one is feeling dry enough, I will pull her out and pop her into a 15g and give her the tea treatment. Unless there are other recommendations for transplanting....

Have a great day everyone.
;)

Yes..when you transplanted into those pots ...u have to remember that the soil is very 'rich'..right off the bat...so ..u have to be careful how much extra you give them....ok!
Yeah, I figured as much...but lack the experience to see the early signs.

I can't wait to see what the roots are looking like when I get those bags off. With the new bag of mix going in there we are gonna be laying off the nutes for a while.

Alright, it is going down. Got an ice cold tall can of Stella for good luck. We are gonna peel this 5 gallon off and take a look here. That BioTerra was actually only $23 for a 50L bag. I took a snap of some of the stuff they carry there. It is kind of a "boutique" shop.

I still have to run and grab a couple more gallons of water......sakes....to be able to finish her off with some of Doc's lovely Tea.
