Yea thts wat im thinkn or since it was the only1 2 ever do this 2 me it cud jus be the broken genetics maybe?? Idk much about the science behind genetics but im guessn if they r all broken up it wud stand 2 reason u wud get sum odd balls out of the bunch lol but yea thanx for the info rad appreciate it muchI use epsom salts for a foot bath - but also for when the leaves go 'taco' per Doc Bud instructions.
Droopy leaves seems the opposite of taco leaves - so I wouldn't think epsom was the 'go to' solution.
A quick google of Alfalfa NPK gave 2.5 - 1 - 2, 3-1-2, and 3-1-3 - so too much alfalfa tea sure could be the cause of too much N.
Those look tasty !
so this was 2 days ago n I put c99 into soil 2/3 roots organic bag soil from aurora n 1/3 ewc n I last night I put strawberry cake n here is her giant tail only it kinda turnd alil brown at the base where it connects to the shell or itcud jus still be the shell idk but I hope she turns out gud I'm pretty sure she will but here she is jus alil tap root rite now but hopefully will become a monster after sum gud organic growing n throw alil training in there ftw

Congrats on your harvest there buddy! :thu
Plants are looking super healthy... I saw the lady bug. They eat mites so if she's hanging around .... well she's got food so look for what she's eating. If she disappears or flies off prolly good sign.
With harvest I look at the pistils not really the trichomes. If they are still pumping out I wait to chop... once they stop growing and start to go amber then I hold my pruning shears .... put em down... wait a few days... .pick em up..... think about it some more.....eventually chop! hahaha...
The difference can be significant weight wise. Plants will put on some weight in the last week or so of flower. When I purchase the seeds one of the things II look for is time in flower. I track closely the amount of time each plant is flowering and compare that to the breeders instruction on flower time... that isn't written in stone either so if the breeder say 55-60 days ... some plants will be 52-55 days and others can go 70-75 days and still show no amber trichs.... Why I look at pistils and size of the calyx.
Actually the size and shape of the calyx is a better indicator of plant maturity. I like to harvest when the calyx are still nice and fat and roundish pear shaped. At some point once the pistils stop being generated the calyx is done her job and they start to shrink. I like to harvest right at that time or a day or so before they start getting smaller. It will become a personal preference over time. The longer the chop the meds will have a different effect. Early harvest = racy buzz generally... and the need for a longer cure. I've had plants that only needed a week or so to cure and the smell and taste were perfect.
Here's what I generally go by... there's a write up on it here on 420mag:
Sometimes the general need to harvest outweighs all else! I'm guilty of that all the time! A proper cure is a good thing. I've actually developed a taste for the freshies! But that is an acquired taste for sure. First time I got snickered pretty good on fresh buds (cured only a few days) ..... woah... had a few heart palpitations!
Good on ya Blaze... and good luck with the little ones and a bountiful next harvest!
hey every1 this is my newest bean I jus germed and am in the process of just popping it anyway its an auto blueberry by dutch passion and I'm wondering if its ready to go into soil or shud I wait alil bit longer and do it 2morow I jus am new to autos and Idk if I shud waste the day in maken the tap root alil longer or shud I put it into soil like asap?? any and all info wud greatly be appreciated and
Yea i jus put it into soil now its about double the size now then in the pic but my cinderella 99 and one of my strawberry cakes still havnt popped above the ground so i started digging slowly n i found them under the soil alil the cinderella one i did in like 1/3 ewc n 2/3 roots organic bag soil n wen i found the seed shell the tap root was all brown n fried lookn n the other1 to jus not as bad burnt brown lookn but i put both back under the soil n waterd n hopefully now they alil closer to the top maybe idkI take back what I wrote before about waiting too long. I don't think it matters much between today and tomorrow - personally, I don't wait - but I'm a cloner. I haven't sprouted enough seeds to have an informed opinion.
The best time to plant a sprouted seed is probably when you have a steady hand and no distractions.

I think you let your tap roots go a little too long before planting. The first Strawberry cake is about the maximum I would let them go.I'm not expert, only planted about 20 seeds and grown about 12 plants from seed. (5 of the seeds were one bad batch of seeds.)
The tap root comes out of the seed and then tries to grow down. In a paper towel, it can't grow down into soil yet, so it grows sideways. When planting, the root is too delicate to point it down, so one plants the rooted seed at a flat angle and the root twists to turn down. In my opinion, which is not expert, a long taproot before planting is wasted energy.
The seed I planted yesterday had cracked it's shell, showing a white stripe along one side. The root had not come out yet.

I wonder if you are right about the Purple Kush and your light. That one cola is strong, close to the light, while the lower buds are much smaller. To get the most out of my lights I try to get many strong branches instead of 1 strong branch before I put them into flower.
Bobrown14 grows some lovely large ladies with one strong leader branch and a few good lower buds. He has stronger lights than I do, and excellent fertilizing and growing technique - but I figure he does it all with magic anyway. I also think he lets his girls get bigger in veg
Here's my setup for seedlings:
Jiffy dome inside a larger dome with a towel under large dome and a heat mat under the towel:
Best time to take cuttings is before flower right at flip to 12/12 or the tops of VEG plants you topped at 3rd or 4th node. I run REG seeds most of the time so taking clones early is a guess at best and that's why take them at flip. I have a better idea if they are female or not... usually 90% sure... at 3rd node there's no way to tell.
