I'm up to 8 in veg to feed 4 slots in the flower area - I'm hoping that's not too many.

My single seed of Amherst Sour Diesel has been in the flower area for 3 weeks and her clones aren't rooting. I may have to try rooting a flowering clone. I'd hate to lose a strain before my first harvest. Some plants clone so easy, it's a shock when I mess it up

44 grams of the organic i prolly wudda had mre but i tossed most of the popcorn buds not all of them but most lol into my pile for makn sum hash so tht will be gud and tasty im sure i cant wait to c how this 1 turns out forthe smell i hope its better then the las few but we will see


now for the veg tent i have a blueberry auto from cks and its growing just VERY slowly i figured it being an auto it wud be way faster then the photo gals but who knows may be at first they r slower then they pick up pace after a bit idk but here she is

and here is my pineapple skunk really growing fast i can not wait for this 1 lol if my ev n pk i got in flower now r smelling like they r i cant wait to have sumthn tht is an actual fruit in its name plus being a skunk strain it will REALLY stink up the flower room or atleast i hope it will lol but here is my lil pineapple

and here is my next upcoming early vixen in veg im doing sum massive training on these ones and the smaller 1 now which was the bigger 1 but i think i took 2 many fan eaves off at once n it slowed growth dwn about a week but here they are now they are back to growing again

the first 1 is the 1 i took to much off i think and the 1 with the funnel is the 1 im trying to do a flux with and the funnel is so i dont have to top water and helps out with the bugs and so far it does seem like the bugs r less in the tent but i cud jus be seeing thing or not seeing i guess lol but i will be wantn to think of a way i can do an olla setup but i wud need a bigger pot to plant in then a 5gal home depot bucket so tht way the olla wud have sufficient room and so wud root mass

yea thts what i had to do so i didnt lose my pk in flower none of the cutting made it and ionly got 2 off the first plant figureing more of the seeds wud pop during the germ but they didnt so i had to take 2 mre wen she was in flower so i didnt lose the pk and with how fruity she is smelling i am soooo thankful i got sum and hope atleast 1 makes it so i can take mre off her and so forth lol and then i wont lose my pk strain cuz this is sum magical smelling fruits lol and i hope to speed up my veg tent to fill up my new flower tent tht will be aarriving soon in the mail am i right in thinkn tht once i use a tent for flower i wont need as much light since the setup i have now has the front and sum of the siding not reflecting tht much light back at the plants where as with a tent it wud be reflecting back on all sides jus wondering if ill be able 2 drop my hps n jus use my leds once my tent shows up and still get as gud yield if not better reason im asking is cause of heat issues till i can setup my shed or run another wire from my breaker box so i can hook up mre power in the back current grow room i cant setup any type of fan or cooling unit cause i will blow my breaker but yea ur number setup sounds close to what im tryn to do now but am hopes of doing like 6 to 7 in veg and 5 to 8 in flower more like 6 or 7 wud be gud for me jus abit mre then what i want so tht way it covers if any shoot out a low yield or sumthn goes wrong n i lose one r sumthn idk i think im jus tryn to convince myself to get mre in there cause i love growing this plant lmao and i cant jus make them grow faster so i can grow mre or experience mre strains so i can learn mre and plus then in the process ill be collecting sum top shelf meds along the way or well maybe 2nd or 3rd shelf now and once these gud genetics get goin then maybe ill hit top shelf meds

what does PAR of light mean rad im still really new to all this growing and learning the terms and what everything means lol sorry ur dealing with a noob but hey we all gotta start sumwhere am i rite?? any who here is one of my purple kush clones im guna jus put into soil in hopes of getting it going cause i lowerd the water lvl in my cloner box n they all except this 1 where all droopy and sad n wen i lookd at the roots most of them where all dry so i put alil bit mre water in the box in hopes tht will help out but this is the clone i put into soil jus alil bit and its in roots organic bag soil and i sprinkled rooting powder on top of soil and topped that with my los mix to give alil boost plus cover up the root powder then i watered in for the win baby so wish me luck i hope this girl makes it otherwise i mite lose my pk n only get 1 harvest with pk in it or will be atleast till i order more purple kush at another point but for now here is what i got goin a purple kush clone takin wen the plant was in flower mode so hopefully it gets way more branching goin on then the girl i took her from idk if its cuz ive never grown gud strains with gud genetics b4 or if its cuz i really like it but the smell of the pk is jus so damn fruity and tasty tht i REALLY REALLY hope this clone makes it i wud be really sad if this is the only pk i get anyway here she is

What is PAR? ... well...

Lumens is a measure of how much light humans see.
This is the traditional measure of the power of incandescent, flourescent and HPS light.

PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) is a measure of how much light plants see (and use to convert light energy into sugar energy.) This is the traditional measure of LED light - but should be the measure of HPS, flourescent and every other light when talking about growing plants.

You can sometimes find a PAR measurement for CFL or HPS light. You have to google well
When you buy new lights, PAR is what matters to grow plants Watts is what matters when you pay your electric bill Lumens mean nothing.

my new bong and nectar collector have arrived finally dude this nectar collector thing is fukn tits lol and my bong is jus sooo smooth man i jus love water bongs nuthn beats it imo idk y but ive always loved bongs over anything else really well for dry herbs tht is concentrates r a different matter lol but yea as long i can remember its been gotta get a nice bong lol well now from g-spot i got my 8 arm tree percolator bong with an xtra bubble dome like deal tht i can put water in in the kneck part as well as the base and its got lil indents in kneck to put ice in which is starting to seem quite common now a days in bongs back in the day it was new coolest thing to have a bong tht cud hold ice now they r in everything and its all about the filtration baby lol percolator this diffuser that i just gotta get it all lol anything to do with marijuana its 4 me hahaha

First thing I noticed on that bong was the nice perc. I like the slotted tubes - easiest to clean of the multi-tube percs. That said, don't let the gunk build up or you'll have to soak 3 times when you clean

See - that beauty is off to a good start - about 3 days from perfect ! - but the bottom root nubbies look bad.

If the bottom of the stem touches water, you need to lower the water level. If not, I'd plant now before the bottom rot progresses.

You can always cut the rotted part off.. I've done that many times.... clones aren't rooting sometimes there's a bubble of air at the end of the cut (cut at 45 degrees so you don't get that) and nothing happening just snip the brown bits off.. once you have roots tho it's going to be fine.

Congrats on the harvest there BJ!

Get rid of the green leaves = no grassy flavor.... also don't hang dry buds too long or grassy smell. We've all been there, will be back...

I just found some Spider Mites... on a plant that was getting droopy! Hard to see em... little black dots until shit storm. I keep an eye out for them always looking for them every day. The Borg .... The Borg... beam me up Scotty. Easy to control before they get out of hand.

ohh boy no i havent seen his glass ware yet yes please do send any pics u want i love lookn at new toys lol weather its mine or else where its all a gud tyme hahaha but yea as of 2day here is my purple kush clone not doing gud at all

i am guna be needing soil soon so i went to go and use bas craft blend and i didnt have quite enuf about a cup short so i decided to add in sum kashi in the middle and then alil ontop to and about 1 and a half cups of the craft blend wen i shud have used 2 and a half so i cup short but figured with the kashi it wud be ok or no and also shud i let this sit about a month b4 letting clones and seedlings into this mix bas said a week to ten days if i wud have used just the craft blend but now im not sure since i used the kashi whats ur guys thoughts??

there is my soil mix lol cudnt help it had to take a pic it jus looks amazingly full of life and smells pretty gud 2 i like tht kashi smell its different cant quite place it but not bad lol and well here is a small update in the veg tent i spose since im here lol

the early vixen with funnel is just taking off all of a sudden idk why but hey im not complaining go babies go lol compared to her sister she is doing WAY better here is her sister look way smaller

well thts the upcoming lineup idk why my clones keep failing once i put them into soil is it cause not letting roots get big enuf??

We're going to have to go with never happened. I opened up the big gray (40 gallon tote) of glass pieces on Wednesday. the first day since moving day - and it was mostly packing paper. Everyone has packed away their pieces in at least 5 different boxes in 3 different rooms. I finished painting the dining room walls last monday, but have had to hold off on cleaning and sanding the floor because my wife is painting a bookcase in there. No pieces on display or photographed until the dining room is ready to decorate.


For a taste:

I dug out a little pull-stem bubbler "Tequila Sunrise" for the young lady to take to visit her bio-dad tonight - but I made her promise to do all the cleaning of it until we get the bar set up in the dining room.

There are a couple of 12" bongs on the table - One I call "I dream of Jeannie" that they call "Loki" and a flask base Ultraviolet Maverick called "The Mav"

The 4.5' 2 man PVC bong was gifted before the move. My 2' asian cheapo cracked in the first month. And 3' Manhattan was packed by the young man in box # x. The only big bong I could put my hands on today is "The Seuz," a mid-sized tsunami, featured in this post a year ago. Her smoke swirls are a thing of beauty.

The other adults in the house are playing with fruit tea in a bong. When the tea is warm it is similar to a vape hit. A smooth smoke. When the 'iron lung' hit it, he exhaled pink smoke

hey guys i jus had a quick question for my purple kush or any plant 4 tht matter if the leaves are creating shadowed out spots on the buds shud i maybe trim the leaves off cause i been tryn to bend the leaves out of the way but these lil suckers jus keep reaching for the stars lol i cant get them to stop and jus stay bent outa the way which i guess is a gud thing lets me no im doin sumthn rite and atleast they are healthy but this is the girl in question see how sum of the bud areas are dark and kinda look shadowed out so jus wondering if i cut out the leaf so it takes the shadow away wud it make my buds any bigger or wud it jus hurt it and make it take longer?? but yea here she is

im really noticing i shud have my veg and flower girls in different rooms it wud make my flower girls so much better and happier i jus dnt have the room till i get tht shed finished but i believe the clawing is from 2 hi of humidity at lights off n most of it i cud control but since my veg tent needs 2 b on way longer n they need humidity too tht it can get pretty hi at lights off for the flower girls so im thinkn once i get the shed done i mite jus make tht the new flower room and keep the room inside tht im using now as a grow room just for my veg girls so i cud do WAY WAY more vegging and flowering n with tht i wud be able to get my skill at picking out go veg girls and knowing what to look 4 up always love learning new and exciting ways to grow this amazing medicine i wana have like a lil mini bonsia tree but have it be buds and only like a foot or 2 hi and it wud show all the crazy bends and loops like bonsia tree wud but at the top have beautiful fats lil nuggets and have em so they are all nicle arranged it wudnt be for getting a yield i jus always wanted bonsia trees growing up idk i jus like the way they looked i guess lol and now im an adult growing the great herb ive thought about giving it a shot but only problem is wen i put it to flower the buds wont be able 2 stay tht way like wen she is in veg am i right?? idk like i was sayn tho once i get tht shed up and running ill be able to do alot mre training on my veg girls cause i will have more room for more of them which will = mre experience for me so always a gud thing imo

I don't quite get your point on the veg lights being on and that adding humidity to the flower tent. Lights being on is the LOW humidity part of the daily cycle, so lights on is passing on lower humidity than lights being off. It WILL be good for your to get the right numbers for temp and relative humidity - almost as important as the right light and the right water.

As far as bonsai of cannabis and then flowering, Yes, you can veg for a long time and defoliate and pinch branches to get a cute little tree. No, you don't have to lose the plant after you flower. When you harvest flowers you can trim off all but one bud, defoliate heavily, and re-veg (put the plant back into a veg cycle.) Personally, I only tried one re-veg and it failed, but I have had clones start to flower, then they re-veg and grow into fine plants. Other folks here on 420 have done several re-veg

and no i meant went i turn on the lights in the veg tent i also turn on the humidifier otherwise its at like 25 to 28 but wen i tunr on the humidifier it boosts my flower humidity up alil 2 hi so tht wat i think mite be causing the claw on my early vixen n purple kush or cud i b wrong??

Sometimes I get clawing leaves... usually and most certainly its from the soil and sometimes its from bugs and sometimes from genetics.

I've never had that happen from humidity or heat either too much or not enough. Usually when I have my soil dialed in perfectly I never have curling.

I started to get it on every plant a year or so ago and that was using the same soil over and over no-til with very little or no amendments added between runs and then the leaf curl... started dumping the soil into my compost bin and making new soil batch and paying close attention to the mix. Problem solved.

I would make up a batch of kelp meal tea and add in a handful of EWC water in... that's anytime I have a plant issue that's my go to... it will clear up most all problems.

On your planting clones and them kicking over... try a soil with just EWC/CSPM and some aeration.... a lite soil... once they get a hold growing then transplant them into your regular soil mix. The BAS/Coots mix is too strong for cuttings and seedlings. Start off easy. Once they have 3 or more sets of new leaves you're good.

The Kashi is also too strong for new roots... I would cover that pot and keep it dark, let the Kashi grow out and do its thing. Then I'd toss that soil into a bin and mix with some fresh new soil. It will be ready for the big girls.

Don't stress clones. Cull if they are not worthy. I usually wait until the fresh roots are several inches long before going into soil... and don't forget to dip the roots in some mykos @ transplant. Hope that helps...
