Opposite side is now turning yellow and curling up.

Also, check out this little dude, 2 weeks old today. Last time this took about 4/5 weeks.

Good morning. :ciao:
Don't fret about the odd fading leaf.
It starts to happen last couple weeks, sometimes.
Odd curling though on such a healthy looking girl.
How is your temp and rh?

The yellowing can be Quite normal during the flowering stage sometimes the plant sucks available nutrient from the sucker leaves.I don’t see any burning of the leaf tips so could be a slight nitrogen deficiency but you don’t use a lot during flowering

66/67 degrees - 45-50 % RH - Lights Out
76/77 degrees - 40-45% RH - Lights On

Plant still looks good everywhere else.

Okie dokie…

BAM with yellowing/curling leaves pic update:

I feel like the plant still looks healthy other then these leaves. I have read a lot online and seen pictures and people say it is normal. 6 weeks ish into flower.

How far out would you all think I am from harvest?

Told BAM and OG Kush are 8-10 week flower time.

I have also read many people speak of flushing and pulling leaves in the last few weeks of flower? Recommendations?

Also, I need to order a soil tester for NPK, I have been using Fox Farms, one for Veg, one for Flower, diluted down, every other water. I should have been testing long ago, however, the learning curve has been steep 🫣

Thanks everyone 🤙🏻

Did you say you diluting your nutrients?
I prefer to follow the schedule full strength, even with Autos.
Flushing?
Your in soil right.
What happens is, what she doesn't eat builds up around the roots.
Eventually preventing her from eating causing a lockout, " deficiency ".
To eliminate this problem last 2 weeks of flowering you run 3x the size of the pot ,plain water through it.
So 5 gal pot 15 gallons of plain water.
It's a good idea especially in soil.
You can do it in a bathtub or laundry tub.
Than let her dry well and feed as normal.
As far as defoliation goes I'm not a fan.
If your rh and air circulation are ok?
After stretch I clean under her skirt and that's it till harvest.
If a leaf dies and falls off fine.
Otherwise I keep everything.
Pests or disease excluded.
That's my way, lots have different methods.
Many defol with claimed success.
I let them be. ;)
Leaves absorb energy, not buds.
Garden looks Amazing.
Hope your weekend is going well.
Take care.

Yo 🤙🏻 I used the wrong verbiage above, directions essentially were 1 ml per 1 liter. So that is what I meant…make sense?

Yes, using Fox Farms soil.

Yeah, i am not super concerned about the leaves, i see a lot online that look just like this. technically, in the plants life this is fall, just minus the temperature drop. My thought on why the leaves are doing this as opposed to all darkening 🤔

Really, I need to work a small heater in, keep 10 degree difference between night and day, but drop the temperature from 85 to 65 over the course of flower to simulate season change. Then hopefully i can get a plant to turn black.

Is flushing always necessary? or only when lockout happens?

A 10 degree c. Temp difference is usually enough to trigger anthocyanins to reduce chlorophyll and create a darker color, IMO.;)
But more will assist.

Do you water to runoff?
Are you using any high mineral content nutrients?
Both of these will factors will effect your decision.
I feed to runoff every day, never get lock outs.
Even with full strength high mineral nutrients.
Runoff every time you water and you generally don't need to flush. " Usually "
If she is eating properly and your satisfied with her overall look and color then I think it isn't necessarily.
It's your call though. :Namaste:

Here is what I have been using, every other water, 1ml per Liter of water.

66D9D973-7337-44E0-BCFF-375949C6DFFD.jpeg

I water slowly in 1/2 liter increments, go thru each plant, 1/2 liter at a time, until I get run off, then I wait, drain the rest, then back in the tent.

Wonder if color change will come later 🤔

I am roughly 6 weeks in of 8-10 weeks, just wanting to make sure I know what to look for so I do not take them to far.

Do you still see lots of bud size growth from here out?

If it were me I would not flush.
I would feed those nutrients exactly according to the schedule.
Those buds have a lot of swelling to do.
Proper nutrients, lots of light and proper temp and rh you should have a bumper harvest.

Looks great at least a few more weeks!

I have read articles on this,, some suggested that if you harvest just as the thrichomes start to show the Slight change to amber, it will produce a more Euphoric buzz and the more amber it gets the more relaxing ( body stone) it will produce... your call, do your own research

That is true, but this is  way too early to start thinking about harvest.

I don't even generally start checking the trichomes until all the pistils have darkened.

The trichomes will go from clear (not ready as the heads haven't been filled with the cannabinoids yet), to cloudy (the most potent and 'up' effect) to amber as the thc begins to degrade into cbn which has a more sleepy, couch-lock effect.

Good to know that the article had factual content,, I hate chiming in sometimes with info that I haven’t used personally, that is why I say to do the research.
