BizzBeachbum - BioBizz Soil & Nutes - AutoUtlimate & AutoEuphoria

UUUUUugh, maybe I wasn't clear about it, but I meant you should stay at the same feeding amount next time, but no biggie they can probably handle it ;)

Edit -> now that I see the photo, I must say that giving more might have been a good call, more bloom and alcamic too, looking really sweet ;)

Thanks so much for all that cool info a few days ago dude - and don't worry - you were very clear and I understood what you meant. The girls had already been at the same light level of flower nutes for 2 weeks and after reading your post it confirmed what I wanted to do so upped flower nutes slightly. Only change though was Bio-Bloom and Top-Max up from 0.5 to 1ml/L.

With autos at this stage you say you usually give 2ml/L Grow/Bloom/Alc/TopMax - I will slowly work up to that - at half published strength at the moment and gonna move up to the 75% you recommended a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a plan ;)

The Blackberry Kush, Frisian Dew and Night Queen autos are very nice ;) A guy up here grew some serious monsters with the Brooklyn Sunrise, you can't go wrong with the DP autos, but with your commitment and approach you don't need anything resilient mate, I know you might think your first grow wasn't all it could be, but that was just establishing a bridgehead, now the invasion begins :laughtwo:

:passitleft:

I love Durban Poison but I've only had the original wild-grown landrace version from Kwazulu. Never had any of the newer selectively-bred versions - but I hear they are obviously much more potent than the originals - just hope the giggly, social high remains.

There's only one way to find out :tokin:

Yeah, as default I just give half of the schedule every watering, but move up to max(well half of max of course ;) ) a lot faster than the schedule says, maybe 2-4 weeks before the schedule.

Last auto grow I could have moved up to the 2ml/L of all faster, and moved up to 3 ml/L or 4 ml/L which I did with the slowest plant.

If you like you can always try to ''push'' one of the plants, and if it reacts well, you can up the dosage to the other plants next watering ;)

Hey man - just read your grow, it all looks good dude! Wanted to check-in and give you the support you are giving me on my grow. Hope you get some tasty nugs! :Namaste:

Thanks GG4U - Great to have you along. I'm intrigued about the little cut you made to your girls on your Day 14. Looking good dude. I'm following you all the way - we got similar strains, medium and nutes. I referenced you earlier in my journal too - see bottom half of page 9.

Day 43 - got the machete out and ventured into the jungle today.

I gave all the girls a pruning - just large fan leaves blocking out developing buds and the very lowest leaves that were yellowing and limp. Filled a big shopping bag with the amount of leaves I took off these bushy girls - and probably could have gone further. What remains are still bushy healthy plants - I think they will take it well.

The large fan leaves (around middle height) were thick like a card and rough like sandpaper.

I have a Target within walking distance of my home. I just walk down and bring a case home with me. I think I still have a 1/2 case left from my last harvest. It is definitely an expense I don't mind making.

Day 43 - Mug-shots of the young ladies. Euphorias first then Ultimates.

Euphoria:

Number 6 - the big fat leaf in pic above come from her.

Yolandi Vi$$er -
she's kept her highlights throughout - she has a stripe of yellow down one side from seed - some leaves are half yellow half green (see one in pile bottom left - very cool) and some yellow, but all healthy. She's a freak and I love her.

Damn - that's one big girl. Is she a Photo or Auto? I'm sad I lost my Auto Euphoria she was my 3 leaf mutant.

I saved up all my fan leaves from my last grow and brewed up some really oily tincture in my Magic Butter Machine. I concentrated it down and it created a really strong couch lock type of med.

Now that I can get in under the canopy, I'm gonna top up the pots with more Biobizz Light. Another water/feed tomorrow so seems like a good time to do it. Then the next day, after they have drunk some juice, I will start LSTing the long stems outwards towards the side so they get all get some more light.

Busy - smoking my first harvest and catching up with all the Olympics I've recorded. Curling allows me to pop into a few of your journals. :laughtwo:

:nomo: - Been thinking about what to do with a big bag of leaves - seems such a waste to just chuck it. Got some research to do. Thanks dude.

What did you do? Is it straight forward.

Hey bizz plants look great!

There are lots of options for fan leaves. Frozen fresh they go great in morning smoothies!

Also, the leaves look pretty dark in the pictures. Just beware of the clawww! Too much nitrogen after stretch can lock out other nutes or supps and lower yield. So try and go easy on any products of yours that are high in N. It's good to try and let the plant used the stored nutrients in its leaves since there is normally plenty from veg. Just my 2 cents. Not criticizing at all your plants look swell! Just want you to nail this grow as best you can!

All Autos dude - like yours. I'm fascinated by your early strong LST - you should see some nice growth during the next few weeks.

Thanks man. I can only hope they take off and that I haven't screwed them up..

Howzit Dabber - thanks for this dude. I noticed the claws on Saturday (10 Feb) and posted this photo. I've been really good with my watering using great guidance from PGR, so didn't think it was overwatering - so maybe it is Nitrogen toxicity. I'm gonna have to do some research to find where the N is in Bio-Grow, Bio-Heaven Alc-A-Mic, ActiVera and CalMag. Don't think it will be in Bio-Bloom or Top-Max as these are flower nutes.

Alert - Two of the tallest plants have clawed leaves near their tops - they are dark green and look healthy for now.

Been reading again :nomo:- could be over-watering, nitrogen toxicity or wind-burn. I raised the little fans in the tent, raised the lights again (been raising them about 2inch every week for a month now). I did notice that the girls are taking longer now to drink up their 3L waterings than 2 weeks ago - and there was more run-off than before. I'm gonna either increase the days between waterings or reduce quantity to 2.5L - wait - just remembered PGR saying "can't water too much, just too often" so gonna keep to 3L (20% pot size) and water every 5 days for now. Can't imagine that it could be nitrogen toxicity?

Quick research - the N is in the Bio-Grow. Manufacturer and grow-shops say the same thing - used mainly in veg but can be used throughout.

All the published schedules use it throughout, but I found a grower's customised chart that reduces then stops Bio-Grow. I also found this in my spreadsheet from Spart's 2016 journal: "Yeah I'm not following the BioBizz chart - I found that it wants to over run your plants with nitrogen to the extreme." With a NPK ratio of 4-3-6 it has more N than the additives or flower-nutes.

Well they are well past veg now, so just gonna reduce or cut out the Bio-Grow - simples. :icon_cool Not too concerned right now - they look so much better than my first grow so can't lose really.
