Birdie's Return To Life

My measurement was a pencil and making a hole as deep as the metal part where the rubber is.. In this case, it wasn't enough.
(I learned that from... Hm.... Was it Krip or Heirloom?!.)
I recently started using the method and I'm 5 for 5 with no helmets. It might take an extra day to surface but so far so good.

I write and eat with my left, sports all right handed. Teacher's said I wasn't worth correcting so they let me be.
My son is the same way Sauga. His teacher was trying to force him. I finally told her that her assimilation went too far. The look on her face was utter shock.

I can't believe they still try to force children being right handed.
There are studies showing that you inhibit (correct word?) the brain seriously if forced to use your right hand.
I was, like Sauga, they tried, but did not succeed.
It isn't a bad thing being leftie.
To me, it feels like if your not tall, blonde and blue eyed... You are not human?

My kid can write beautifully with either hand. Why wouldn't you see that as a gift? His brain has already proven to be a mystery to his parents. He is scary smart for his age, articulate and compassionate. What more do they want from him?

Point is that I go straight momma bear when someone messes with my cubs. I've been known to be an intense woman at times. It's best that daddy does school conferences. My disgust with the public school system is too obvious and I'm not one to hold my tongue.

You and me both sweetie...
Only I go tiger.Hurt my babies.. And I have you for lunch.
(guess who needs to be faaar away from me for the rest of his life)
I feel strongly that you can't force people to be the same. If school system can't support individuality, then system sucks.
School, for my girls, started two weeks after the murder, and of course my first thought was can they coop?
I decided that they would go "if I saw fit".
When I saw that their minds were shattered, we stayed home, talked, cried and then found things to laugh about.
I was told, and I do agree, this is good parenting.
It is not "what everybody does" but I don't care.
We moved and now they have an excellent school and they support individuality :green_heart:
They LOVE school. Even my 10yr old is happy. That happened in 2 days, they don't speak the language AND they feel I am not needed there to translate.

I'm happy for your girls. They deserve so much joy and I'm glad they haven't shut themselves off from fear.
Thank you sweetie :hugs: Road is still long, but that was a great first step in right direction for them. :green_heart:
What I wanted to say is, there is a middle way with school and parenting.
Both sides need to be heard and taken under thought/recognition and of course as a parent, I find it impossible to force my child to do something, that I feel in my gut, is wrong.

Thank you :) thank God for you tube :)
I now know how to change the radiator.. Mending the bumped sides is next :)

Got the garage cleared out...
Garbage to the dumpsters..
Car inside....
Waiting for parts to arrive...
Went to the ice rink.. Full of snow..
Cleaned off as much as my back would allow me and tried to skate...
I used to be a figure skater... With emphasis on used to...:rofl::laugh::rofl:
Its been 20 years...

And now you just figure you can skate...almost tthe same!
Yes, thought it was still there, but boy was I mistaken :)
Skating is great cardio...for me, the workout would be falling down—getting up—falling down—rinse and repeat...
:laugh::rofl::laugh::rofl::laugh::rofl:
Well, it was almost like that.. Only I refused to fall..
Have you ever seen a windmill skate?!?
