I said/asked that wrong, my bad, was asking if it really makes a difference, I'm here to learn brother, not argue...my days are wasted if I learn nothing new, that goes for anything, not just growingThat was for @MochaBud , I should have quoted him.
lol, I never thought you were arguing, my mind doesn't go that deep into others mindsI said/asked that wrong, my bad, was asking if it really makes a difference, I'm here to learn brother, not argue...my days are wasted if I learn nothing new, that goes for anything, not just growing
EDIT: I'm a geek with an inquiring mind...
Sure I guess so, lol, but I don't know any better. I'm a mechanic damn it not a doctor.Tap roots search for light before they respond to gravity? That's completely new to me.
I guess I got side tracked came over to walk through @AngryBird s journal and saw that post about the beans and...................squirrel............lol, I never thought you were arguing, my mind doesn't go that deep into others minds
When I said it cant hurt, it was more of a There's no harm in doing so, and even if it doesn't work, it didn't hurt anything. Sorry for not being clearer. I do that sometimes
My feeling is, and I'm not stating you do this, is that most new growers may apply water too heavily when the seed with tap are planted.- I placed the germinated seeds in the slit rapid rooter to close to the top
1/8-1/4", from now on it will be 3/8"-1/2" closer to 1/2"
I do it just like you say MrS and I use peat pucks for germination. Once it's soaked originally I water the edges and the bottom.I suppose this changes with different types of starter mediums, so I am referring to those who go straight to soil like myself.
