Bignstrange's 4x4 800W COB LED Grow Tent - Promix - New Grower - Drop In!

Nice bud love following your thread great info .
Thanks KJ, means a lot

We have some good people in here so well have a lot of knowledge in here by harvest, that's the hope anyways .

Ended up trying this because rh is consistently dropping below 50

Damp towel just over the front of the fan, added bonus of helping me adjust airflow too . so cheap XD it'll work for 3 more days until they can handle the lower humidity a bit better!

And a group shot around 530 pacific, them girls are really startin to fill out their pots!

The pots still have some water in the lower half so I'm gunna leavem be and lettem dry out till morning. Then I'll give them a light dose of the real goodies!

:blunt: my app is on the fritz again, sorry if I can't keep up on everything for a bit :S :blunt:

Drying is slightly different. You wanna be around 60% with air movement in the room (not enough to move branches just to keep air moving)
I don't really have the ability to control, so I tend to dry around 50%. I just have to keep an eye on it. It can go from stem being perfect and snapping, to crispy nugs in a day if your rH is too low.
The faster they dry, the more terpines you lose (totally in my opinion and I have no scientific evidence to back this up, just confirmation bias)

Thanks for the info Blazin - I love all you guys here at :420:.

I think I should be good for cure if I turn off my main fan and just leave my smaller inline fans running and the computer fans I have inside the tent. I think the humidity should be much higher without the exhaust fan running.

I want to maintain max turpines -

Ya Troy BW gotcha covered, 35 to 45 is perfect for late flower, 40 being the goal usually!

For drying I think around 50 is good and 75 degrees, that's what works for me anyways, dried my fluffy auto nug sticks in a week in those conditions and it turned out nice, I'll snap a pic when I get a minute!

That should work out. The weather is suggesting that the Diablo Wind should subside and humidity should start getting back to normal. They are also saying we may be getting our first rains next Friday. It will be nice to clear all the smoke out from the fires.

Thanks for the compliment Troy!

I hope you guys get some rain too, I'm up in BC and we had almost a million hectares of fires this summer .

No good for anyone .

You are a meticulous mofo aren't you? You're keeping me on my toes to update my own journal. Girls are getting there. Keep up the good work man.

Meticulous might be a good word for it DD, your plants look damn good too! That coco... mmm you hot some exotic ladies around .

On that note another update!

Growth looks good, they are drinking at different rates, I've also been rotating then so evaporation due to the fan would be a bit more regular. Either way they will all be dry enough to water early in the morning so I'll givem a little somn.

In all honesty I can't keep the humidity constant if my life depended on it but these girls will grow into it, it might just add a couple days to veg. I'll keep working on it, maybe try hanging more than just one wet cloth tomorrow!

I think they look pretty happy with the exception of inconsistent humidity! I spray the tent as often as I can so I hope it helps a bit. I think they will get a light taste of nutes tomorrow for breakfast as they will all be between day 12 and 14, it looks like they can handle it.

Let me know if I'm missing anything!

G'night everyone :cheesygrinsmiley: :blunt: :thanks:

I'll have to play around with that when I'm a bit more coherent in the morning .

Thanks for posting all the info here for easy reference, makes it easy to remember for a heavy smoker like me ;)

Dad came up this morning for a visit, hadn't seen him in a couple years so sorry for no morning update .

Will make sure I update and catch up on all your journals once I get a chance to sit down!

:blunt: burn one for me :blunt:

It becomes a full time job keeping up with everyone..
I know what you mean, hopefully the weed gods will bless us all with a salary pretty quick ... .

K I just read through all my subscribed feeds real quick, I think XD

Update pics from morning!

Gave the girls a feed this morning, I'm working off of a pretty aggressive feed chart which I'll upload later, so I basically quartered it. Mixed up a gallon of nutes, ppm came out to 250, my tap water starts at 50.

So mixed the gallon and they each got 250 mL, and top dressed the og tea again-i am seeing more root development in the plants I'm giving more microbes to-they are drinking noticeably more water.

.5ml micro
1ml grow
.5ml bloom
3ml regen a root
2.5 ml cal mag +
3ml grozyme
And a drop of superthrive to get the ph around 5.9

Pics just after feeding around 930 am pacific

I'm excited to see how they liked breakfast! I also put a 5g bucket in the tent with water in it and a wet cloth on top, seems to be the best solution yet for keeping humidity steady for around 3 to 4 hours!

:blunt: now to catch up on housework and maybe get into some more threads :blunt:

Like minds think alike. I did the same today - put a bucket of water with a towel outside the tents intake. My humidity had dropped to 29% this morning which is really unusual for my area. Weatherunderground is predicting it to drop to 14% tomorrow and Monday. Ugh... They were really drinking heavy last night and drank about 1/2 gallon each.

Tanks Joe!

I think it's great minds think alike . don't be so humble Troy ;)

Yea I had to think of something humidity was 41 when I looked in the tent this morning :S never supposed to go below 40 so I panicked a bit!

Lucky I'm in a rainforest, sounds like it's a bit different for you in Cali, though it's not terrible to have that low humidity towards harvest, your plants will stack thrichromes and resin to protect itself!

Quick group shot of the ladies before I head out the door again. Uh I think they liked the food... . . . . . .

Lots of red in that veg eh?

Lots of red in that veg eh?
Yea that's the led through the glasses and with my light symbol on my phone all the way down- I'm not gunna pretend like I know what that is XD

I'm really looking into method 7s, well my sister's considering buying them for me cause these lights are insanely intense. I think my eyes get used to it then when I get out of the tent I can't see for a minute, with the cheap glasses on :S

As for spectrum I think it'll be ok,I can always throw that cfl back in there but these lights do have a good amount of blue in them; the spectrum chart on page 1 or 2 shows it pretty good. I have the light at 34 inches and they seem to be liking it, I'll take pictures of the new growth tonight and y'all can tell me if it all looks good .

Do you think, if there is too much red, it might affect the growth rates? I'll take a pic of the light color without the glasses later too so you can see what's up

Wow medicated and wordy XD
