I have noticed that plants will grow way different in different enviros, I will do a photo shoot outside and show the exact...I mean exact plants, growing in and out......and I can show two exact plants grown outside that grew different. I was trying to get these folks to pick up on the process of growing when I mentored em, but they didn't follow instructions, and I know that a lot of the differences in these plants is from improper treatment........I can give the boyz the nutes....but man, I hoped they would apply em as soon as I did....but they didn't. They are now callin the grow "ours".......LOL......I did it for a lot of reasons...none of them involved the product! I have my own weed, but I will get some convoluded research outta the whole rigamarole...LOL

i could use it thats for sure,but things are so tight this month i cant afford the gas to go out there,had to pay 75 more on the electric, its the 5th & im already flat broke bfam,the og is looking good & testing high the purps needs a clean up and moved to a sweeter spot, that will happen today the oldest gdp comes out today,its at 8.5 weeks and 10-20% amber

yeah i have had clones from the same mom grow different in the same tent same everything but different pot or nutes and they look like different phenos!
i had my second "durple pream" gdpXblue dream" pop yesterday 1st one showed up a couple days ago, funny thing is i put the seeds in the 17th of june! i just didnt bother to pull em,im glad cuz i really wanted to see how those would turn out,i was worried that i was not waiting long enough after harvesting them! never had any pop so long after putting them in,they popped up and look great ,funny ,they shot up to an inch tall in 1 day,like nothing yesterday and bam here i am today! the others popped the same time have as many as 8 sets of leaves & are 6 inches tall! crazy!

i grow from seed,i clone only to maintain a strain till i can feminize it or decide to dump it,right now i have only 3 clones of strains i dont have in seed form,i find seeds produce better theres something about that taproot that makes a difference,and seeds unless fem have the potential to be something really special known as a gem, the genetic lottery:thumb:

Sweet.... I've had it before when it was "Grape Ape" and "Grand daddy Ape" out in Oregon a few years ago. It's nice, but I did notice that the effects seemed to vary from Pheno to Pheno when I would get different orders of it. I'd like to try growing it now :)

Glad today's a bit better, I'm there with ya. Still bad, but not quite as bad, which is an improvement :)

i got the ken estes beans directly from the source i have heard mixed reviews on growing it but this is supposed to be "the one & only" original, idk but i crossed a true male & female so when i pop those beans its either stabilized or an f2 and will have phenoss galore well at least a few,depending on how worked the strain is,i find it hard to believe ken would put his name on something sub standard

I never actually had a "bad" version, except one that I'm sure now was harvested too early, not much crystal on it, just different effect levels... the ones that purped seemed to be more long stone, then crash, the ones that didn't purp as much, more couchlock then sleep.

It'll be interesting to watch you grow some out. I love watching your grows.

ok gdp is cut! washed and hanging! not that it matters but wet weight was 9.6oz 3 gal plastic ,odd thing is just by looking the smart pot may win,its gonna cone down to dry weights,the gdp tonight had some hints of purple its definatly gonna be there if temps are lower or i let it go 10+ weeks in these temps,but after the wash they got really colorfull in the reds & greens,,the smells while triming were definatly familar (purple) yet unigue and divine,im fairly sure i had drool the whole time,,,ok enough im making my self crazy still a week to wait

What wash method did you use? The rinse, blanch, cool? Did you do so before or after the trim? I'm curious about how you find the difference as opposed to just hanging to dry.

yeah wash ,after trim i get 2 big conainers very hot water/baking sodanwhite vinegar in one very cold in the other shake & stir in the first rinse in the cold,ive covered this before,recently,it makes for a much cleaner smoother smoke,curso ,doc,and many others are starting to do this it only makes sense,we wash every other vegggie,herb, we consume,ive checked the triches before & after and i cant tell any difference except they look brighter some how,must be the lack of dust and polutants:thumb:

I guess I will go back and look... I don't ever spray or mist my buds with anything. I think I would rather smoke bugs than dunk my beautiful buds like that :yikes:...

but now you have me curious :hmmm:

Its the same as washing an apple before you eat it. It does no damage and gets all the crap that gets stuck in our sticky, sticky plant off. Just makes sense IMHO.

Hey Buck

I was skeptical about the washing also, but it is definitely worth giving it a try.

If your to nervous to ruin bud, just try half a plant or two and compare it to the non washed. You'll be amazed!

It really didn't add any drying time for me either. I did shake the excess water off very vigorously.

well buck like curso said you wouldnt bite an apple that was covered in dirt right? for however many months they are collecting dust and whatever else, in my case theres residue from sprays,its a super dusty place where i live, the wash water looks nasty when im done,and my fears of damaging them are gone,done a half dozen plants now, all are improved by washing, and i noticed theres less danger of getting mold in the cure,i forgot a small jar of blue dream for 2 weeks and it was a bit to damp to jar & not burp often but when i opended it despite being wet it had not molded at all,every other time this has happened ive had mold,turned out even better than the big jar! enlightend growers have been doing this for decades, jorge cervantez,ed rosenthal have talked about it jorge even has a vid on u toobe
