Thanks ,you all. I just watched it all the way through for the first time ,just now. I did not arrange the pics to the music. They are in the order taken. I had no idea what the entire video would look like. I liked the pics and the song and felt they would go well together. Wow, I am surprised it came out this well. I think I will tinker with it a bit. I took some pictures of deer while I was in Sonora this weekend. I wanted to include them but my mind was distracted by all the buds!! BTW 1st vacation in 20 years, only cost me $40, I am blessed.

Good you got some time away finally! It's great to get out of the smog ad into the hills, and fresh air. Just watch for the headache when you get back.... hits me every time I come back to the city.

GReat vidjo, BTW. Loved every pick and strum, and the "Jam Session" feel to it went very well with the pic slide show. I have to admit, though, at about 6:00, I realized that I had closed my eyes, was nodding my head and tapping my toe in time. Well, done, my friend.

Well true to form, and being a creature of habit, I harvested a few nugs to dry and sample. The force is strong in my samples. I smoked some Nigerian x Sandy Beaches, very up lifting, munchie inducing, conversation rambling, deliciousness. Very good for an early snip. Next was the Fairy Hash, strong body high, with couch lock set to 10. Sweet flavor of anise and skunky jet fuel . I have 2 colas drying they will be my next samples. The rest will be harvested when they are ready. I am keeping BPN as part of my plans to grow great medicine organically. :peace::Love::cheesygrinsmiley::MoreNutes:

I like to sample when all trics are cloudy, and a few hairs have turned brown. This gives me a fair assessment of its potency and makes me drool for the finish. The colas I have drying ( Durban Poison , and Sour D)are part of my breeding program, seeded , sticky ,and aromatic. They should be ready to smoke in a few days. My room has the right humidity and temp for a good fan driven slow dry.
Sounds good...When do you usually start sampling?

Found a few worms today, two tiny ones and one Bigun. the bigun had not done much damage, the small ones only ruined about 1.5 grams dry. My hands are always sticky after my worm hunts. If you see one there are more. That's why I look every day, sure I damage some trics, but I save the flower.
For a while I have been procrastinating on setting up a real mother/clone room. The cost of materials was daunting. Today I road scored what is to be the frame for it. An all metal frame , no rust, needs a little reinforcement to support the weight of water and such, cleaning ,and painting. Looks like a closet organizer, two sections, one could hold shelves (for shoes, socks etc), the other has a clothes bar , stands about 6'. Shelf on the bottom and top, open all around.
I also scored a complete roll of blue denim. I had been thinking how my jeans were looking haggard. Hmm, I seem to be getting what i need. Now, I need to learn how to make pants. Thanks All Mighty Everything.:peace::Love:

looks like i got here "just in time". 2 marshmallows...my butt! i've been offline for a while, but it seems i found u in time. don't make me take away u're marshmallows ALTOGETHER!!!

As the 2nd harvest of my season nears a close, I am pleased and thankful for my crop. Thankful of the lessons learned last and this year, new practices, proven by trial and error. The variety of buds is making me giddy, 13 strains, 33 plants . Enough of each to equal 1.5 lbs perfectly dried, plus the Peruvian Sativa (3) that are just beginning to fatten up with BPN. Harvesting them in a month, expecting 1.5 lbs from 3 plants. 3 lbs total twice what I did last year, more work with all the plants, but every bit of it worth its weight in experience. I smoked some of the Blue Dream, boooooyaow baby!! I am a happy high camper. BPN has made my grow spectacular. I am planning on trying some indoor LED action soon, possibly in the new year.

Re: Begining to understand her

Definitely felt more relaxed the more grows I accomplished. When I first started my main concerns were mold and the fuzz. Now Im in an older built house and I get to experience all the bugs but its not a oh shit moment like it would have been in my first few grows. Experience helped me know what to look for and how to react to things happening in my garden.

Id say the excitement of growing has definitely worn off, unless Im doing something in the grow room Im never in there. I only look at the plants when Im inspecting them opposed to my first grow when I would just sit in there and watch them.

One thing that I find funny is I always feel bad on harvest that I have to kill the plant. Sometimes I find myself apologizing to the plant right before I chop em down. :)

The one option for your harvest remorse is to take a clone, veg it out the last month before your harvest and then trim your clone down and plant it wild and free outside in the spring/summer/fall, whenever your harvest inside begins, you start a new life outside. And it gives the deer something to eat and have a nice October evening one night...

Tired and whooped, harvest might be my favorite part of gardening. It has to compete with all the other stages of gardening. I am finding new ways to use old ideas. My next seasons endeavor will be, to say interesting would be an understatement . Outdoor 2L hempy SOG. Four 2'x4' raised beds , kept to 12 hour dark period with tarp action. 128 Cola Forest, sounds like a bad ass address. That's where I'll be next year, movin' on up. At the least I expect to harvest 64 oz, 4 lbs , one of each strain I grow. My harvest should be done in August, and I'd be smoking cured buds now.
