Well if that 10 day thing holds for you then sure! Some plants will show sex in veg though depending on age, but that's not usually an issue for outside plants. Unless you grow like me

I often contemplate the best way to identify when flowering starts and haven't quite settled on it. I agree with your point, but it's easier for me to say "there's the first pistils on the plant" and assume flowering will begin 10 days later. I guess I'll have to give it more thought.
Since its open for discussion... Whenni started my first flower i counted from flip day. That same flower i learned about trichs. The sour og flowers in 8 weeks, but i remember pickin buds early cause i wanted uplifting buds. That plant was a 50/50. Great strain btw. Ive followed breeder directions and watched trichs. I find the latter the way to go for harvesting. I consider flower to start when, “I think i see Guy Fieri...”

I like that that advice - once the tops look like Guy Fieri, they're in flower! Hopefully Guy doesn't change his hair style otherwise I'm screwed.

Didn't think I needed to google his name. I'm very familiar with him and see him on TV all the time.
I found only one picture of him without "The Hair." It was a poorly done edit and not real.

Time to update on the remaining two autos. I was going a little overboard on the picture taking a couple days ago and then forgot to post them, so better late than never.
CBD Lemon Potion Auto #2 from Barney's Farm:
This girl is much larger than her sister that was harvested a couple weeks ago, but has the same general bud structure as the first one. This means another challenging trim session once she's ready for harvest. Still seems to be a couple weeks away at least. Sister was harvested at day 89.
LSD-25 Auto from Fast Buds:
Warning, lots of photos here as I couldn't decide which ones I liked better!
This plant is so unique to anything I've previously grown, I can't stop taking pictures of it! The buds are fattening up nicely and I'm realizing that judging trichome ripeness is going to be a challenge since currently the trics are all deep purple with a bright white top. Gonna be hard to tell clear vs cloudy and who knows if any will look amber.
Oh, here's a updated growth chart of the two. Not much to document on these two. I just feed/water and let them do their thing.

I hope somebody loves the smoke on the LPa because based on it's structure and "trimability" I'm not sure I want to grow another!

Actually, we've been smoking Lemon Potion quite a bit this past week. @Liquidintel and I are really enjoying it. Pretty smooth smoke - even without the proper cure. At 2:1 CBD:THC ratio, the high is nice and mellow as expected and the CBD is very relaxing and uplifting. I'm certainly a CBD noob so I can't really compare it to other CBD varieties yet.
So I’ve got some CBD LP coming in from Barney’s and I’m looking forward to dropping one for my wife’s meds. What did you look for Trichome wise when you harvested?! I may have missed it if you posted it!

This evening we are going to chop one of the lab rats -- Sour Diesel.
This one has been an interesting plant. Today it sits at day 174 (day 107 of flower)! Yes, it's been flowering for more than 15 weeks. 
Odd thing is, it still doesn't look ready to me (others in my family unit disagree), but we're going to chop it anyway. To be honest, I'm getting tired of looking at it and thinking "next week it'll be ready."
It still shows lots of white hairs, but I believe it went into reveg mode early in June, then back to flowering once I started moving it into the shed each night. The trichomes still show some clear - about 50/50 in my opinion, but again some disagreement among the family unit, and some amber, but not a lot.
It's looked like this for the past couple weeks, so another week or two probably won't be much different. I harvested a nug last week so last night 3 of us sampled it and we all thought it was pretty good. Things are starting to get busy here with other summer activities. My helpers are available tonight, so down it's coming!

@InTheShed also grew one and his looked very similar. It was odd/difficult to trim for both of us. I doubt Shed will be growing this one again. I have one more seed and will probably pop it next season.

Surprisingly, I got 29 grams out of the first one - much more than I was anticipating considering its size. The 2nd one is considerably larger so I'm expecting maybe 2 oz from it. I think Barneys Farm stated a 70 day cycle for it. Mine went 89.

Dark Devil Auto is already on my wish list for next season, so I'll be watching yours closely.
Fast Buds says 8 weeks cycle time, mine is almost at 10 weeks now, but does not really look ready yet to me. Watching that one closely.

bear in mind that the ones i’m Running now are not from original breeder seeds (Sweets Seeds). They’re from seed that dynamo made by reversing one and pollinating some others with it. So far these seeds have produced quite small plants, with super tasty syrupy buds. Many of dynamos were pretty much just SPoG®s. SO I’m really not sure what to expect which is why I have 2 each in 1gallon pots. They may not get big but i know they’ll be delicious. Also my favourite high so far. Very happy, very smooth... like dancing.
Most of the DDAs regardless of source seem to lean to the spog® end of the spectrum. I think Magoos' was almost a single trunk as well.
