aside from gorgeous plants am really digging your carts esp since im lugging 3g to 10g containers around.I hope everyone is having a good start to their weekend.
Earlier in the week, I took these update pics. Most of the plants are getting really close now. As a matter of fact, I'm heading out to Liquidintel's house this morning to start trimming his Alaskan Purple, although he says all three of his plants might be ready. I'll get a closer look when I get there.
Dr. S CBD
This one is getting close, but as per the above discussion regarding ripeness, I'll take a closer look in the next day or two. I've really enjoyed growing this one. The caterpillars have really enjoyed eating this one. I've probably lost about 3 oz of bud to the cats, but I still have plenty left.
Gorilla Breath
This one might actually be the first to be ready for harvest even though it's the youngest of the three. Buds are nice and frosty, and I guess that's to be expected with one of the parents being Gorilla Glue.
I also took some night flash shots...
Killer A5 Haze
This one has finally stopped stretching (79 inches tall) and is now focusing on bud development. Flowering for 10 weeks now, but still has probably another 4 weeks to go. Maybe I'll be harvesting on Halloween.
And maybe the last shot of all three together.
Thank you so much! I do plan to write up a build guide for the carts once this season's plants are all harvested. I'll post a link here when I have it ready.aside from gorgeous plants am really digging your carts esp since im lugging 3g to 10g containers around.
Thanks PC, she's been pretty easy to grow for the most part.I hope when I grow them out I get one like that. I know it will not get as big but that looks really healthy for a plant that old.
Winds are indeed starting to pick up now. I moved her to my main patio near the house. Hopefully more of a wind break there. But honestly she's so close to harvest, if a couple branches break it shouldn't be a big deal.Be careful with the forecast high wind/gusts starting Sunday!
Thanks Felipe - kinds words indeed! I learn new stuff each season - especially from all of the great journals here.Great season, Luiz and LI - You guys really show how it’s done outdoors!
Actually, for the October POTM I entered my CBD plant. I did check to see if Felipe had entered one of his great plants before posting mine. Unfortunately, the founder removed it due to it being a non-sponsered plant name. Hopefully I'll have better luck next month.Enter that baby into the POTM contest, sometime when Felipe and Van aren't in!
I’ll be over in a few weeks!
Great! I think I can hold off harvesting until you all get here. I appreciate the help!I'll be over in a couple of weeks before Amy gets there.
way to go, beautiful jobMy two plants that have been harvested so far are all jarred up and have been curing for a while now, but not quite long enough yet. The CBD plant yielded 459 g of buds (16.2 oz) and another 89 g of shake (3.1 oz). I'm really happy with that number - especially since I tossed 4 or 5 oz due to the caterpillar carnage. The Gorilla Breath yielded 451 g of buds (15.9 oz) and another 117 g of shake (4.1 oz).
And some close ups of a nug of each.
I'm really surprised by how large the Gorilla Breath plant got and how much it yielded considering it was only in a 10 gallon pot. The other two plants are in 20 gallon pots.
My original plan to chop Killer Haze on Tuesday got pushed back because after re-evaluation of the trichomes, I decided it could use another week. So this weekend (maybe tomorrow) I'll start the harvest fun. I've already started pulling off some of the fan leaves while she waits for the inevitable.
