Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

It's Mars's new square light. I'm not sure how it's different from the SP's but it looks like it maybe has warmer light.
Oh thanks Professor! Mars did a giveaway on that light a few months back but I didn't win so I forgot the model number. :)

Not sure on the color temp of the SP-250 but I can tell you that when I get the most accurate pics with the color temp on my phone set at 4000K, if that helps. It's definitely cooler than the 3000K Samsung strips in the shed.

Flowering Day 32....

These 2 are looking good. We've come to the part where we just sit and wait for the OS. I mean we'll still be feeding her of course but other than that there won't be much more to do. The GZ on the other hand will need supporting soon. It's a great plant but she will start to flop soon if she doesn't get the help. The OS will be fed shortly and I'll push her nutrients up to 22g of MegaCrop to see if she responds well. All is well today....

didnt realise you was on the rainy isle prof lol
has been a restful week for me with the crappy weather haha should have been outside all week.. nicely rained off.

Hey 420! My plan for these is to grow them in these 1ltr pots for about 2 weeks then I'll transplant them into some fabric 5ltr pots in which they'll stay for a further 2 or 3 weeks. Then they'll go into their final pot which will be the 11ltr plastic pots which come with the Wilma system. I don't intend on vegging these 4 for as long as I did with the previous 3. They will receive a topping but not much else up until they're to be flowered. Then I'll give them a good trim and remove a lot of the lower growth. They'll be less wild but also less natural looking than the others. Here we are 2 days above ground....

You've got it all planned out. Them younglings are in perfect health! :ganjamon:
I so need to clean out the middle of that POG that I am reaching my scissors to my screen!
I'll second that! Nice job on waiting it out prof she's gonna explode after her haircut.

Yep, I'm down in the West Country. We've been rained off tomorrow already so looks like a light wage packet this week. I use these opportunities to get down and dirty with the ladies (plants) lol

Just before lights out I was watering the OS and I couldn't resist the urge anymore and pulled some leaves of the POG lol. It's gonna take a while as after 5 mins of pulling leaves I had barely made a dent. Her buds are forming really nicely though, even the ones lower down. I may do it tomorrow instead :nervous-guy:

i had a mad 2 weeks before this one, pumping 14hour days, i have enjoyed the rest this week, especially after the whole of monday spent trimming lol
next week is expected wet also.. have sorted some rainy day work out now thougg cant excuse another week off... well i can.. but i have too much work lined up to keep pushing it back haha
shame the other girls wernt ready could have been trimming all week.

As long as you remember to turn them back up ;).
Lol. One time I flipped the manual override on the timer so I could work for 20 minutes after lights out with some light. I forgot to turn it back on again. It was about 3 days before I realised that my flowering plants were being bathed in constant light. They were fine though but I was pretty worried about them lol. Another time I put my veg plants into flower but I didn't realise that the timer was broken and it was permanently set to on. It was about 18 days before I realised something was up lol. Now I always check when I flip the lights and every now and then in passing

I fed her this morning with 25g of MegaCrop in 10ltrs of water.
So I did some number checking and here's what you should know regarding high N ppm levels. This is basically info I picked up from farside and it holds a lot of merit.
The best range for N ppm is between 90-150ppm. Under 90 and plants tend to start showing signs of yellow. Over 150 and the plant is starting to reach the level of overfeeding. You are feeding around 10g/gal and at that level it puts you in at 220ppm. Keep an eye out for heavy burning on the lower leaves. They will almost certainly turn yellow on you from overfeeding.
But I've been wrong several times today so one more may not hurt. :)

That's certainly handy to know. Well that'll save time defoliating then lol. But seriously thank you Mr S. I'll keep a close eye on her and if need be drop her nute on the next feed. The POG seems pretty hungry so maybe she can handle it, maybe not
