Hey 420! Today I've been in the garden again and moved things along a little. I've removed the Phantom OG from the 2x4 tent and put her back in the 2x2.5 because I've started training on the others. Here's the Gorilla Zkittles (right) and Orange Sherbert (left)....

I've supercropped them for now and will continue tying them down every time I get a spare 5 minutes

Continued....
nice example of the technique mate. they will be great yielders i reckon. love the star shapes , perfect for light penetration without scrogging.

I've not finished tying them down yet and thought that they might have sprung back up over night. I checked on them a moment ago and they've both kept their shape without the string. I've just topped them as well....

Gorilla Zkittles....

She's starting to grow well again. I never get used to how much plants can change in such a short time. We are at a point where I'm just going to observe her and maybe remove a growth tip here and there. I'll keep an eye out for nutrient requirements but for now I'm just watering them with tap water with a PH of 6.5....

Orange Sherbert....

The short stocky one. She has 2 branches that received more light than the rest and have grown very well. I'm hoping that the rest can catch up soon. It looks like they will. She's got a thicker stem than the GZ but is somewhat shorter. Doesn't matter as much now that they've been bent down and opened up to the light. It appears that the transplant has done some good but I'm still on alert as I'm not 100% confident that they are happy just yet. If we can get to next weekend without an incident I'll be less worried about them going into flower in a few weeks time....

Phantom OG....

I've tried to get some better pics using the tablet but no....apparently this light hates cameras. I've had to aim the floodlight at the wall of the tent otherwise the camera just starts strobing out. No sign of anymore thrip activity. I gave the plant a misting with the breastmilk mixed with water mixed at 20%. She looks like she's doing ok after the transplant. She was a bit more tricky to get out of the pot than the other 2 and I think she was a little shocked because of it. I'm treating this one the same as the other 2 in terms of feeding. I'm just holding off and keeping an eye on requirements. I won't be trimming this one the same way in terms of training. I'm just going to let this one grow and see how big she gets in the next couple months. She has until my other flowering tent is finished up before she goes in there....

excellent looking Prof. love how savage you are with the defol. gives me confidence to follow suit when i get to spreading mine out. Love how they look now. you can easily see how they benefit instantly , the stress is a breeze for them compared to this new messiah of light. When the suns shining we all deal with shit better !!
If a bird shits on my shoulder and the sun is shining in summer , i can laugh it off , but in winter!!!!!!!! ,she is getting packed in !.

loving this grow Prof. learning so much as i follow about these Barneys girls.

Thank you GG. I do enjoy trimming, sculpting and butchering these plants. If they're healthy they can handle just about anything. I wouldn't have said that these are 100% just yet but they're doing there best to grow

Are you referring to a northern lass?

dont say it is a national thing Prof.!!!! damn . Thought it was only midlands ladies.!.

I cannot wait to see how they respond to this trim. The peyote critical i grew got stripped out and she replaced everything with 2 more it seems.lol bounce back is shockingly fast sometimes. They seem to be well sorted now prof.

Hey 420! Things are looking pretty good in this tent. Branches are still down low despite not tying anymore down. I will still tie them though as I'm certain they'll spring back up after a week or so. They have shown some good growth over the last couple days so I'm going to give them a bit more time to recover from the recent training then I'll put them into flower. Maybe another 2 weeks I'd say. Here's what they look like today....

Phantom OG....

This one has some yellowing today. Looks like nitrogen deficiency so I may add some veg nutrients on my next watering. I'm hoping she pulls through this one without any drama. It's been a bit of a ride recently and I'd like a break now lol. I'm still undecided as to how I'm going to run the next couple strains. I'd like to grow them in soil but I'm not certain about this new soil yet and I would like to keep it simple. I have some spare DWC kits I could get out. That way I'd only need to purchase some nutrients whereas if I went with soil I'd need to buy pots, nutrients and the soil. Back to the Phantom. I think that she'll be ok but as you can imagine it's a bit frustrating having all these constant problems one after the other. She is bushy and sturdy and has great growth under her leaves that is beginning to push through. I think I could do better with her and I believe I've not quite solved the issue. There is clear progress though so for now I'm greatful for that....

I thought at cursory glance that it was a water spider, I now believe it to be a hunting spider. It would make more sense.
I wonder if she was living off of the thrips? They don't stick around if there isn't any food.

The plants are coming around pretty well. Are they giving off any aromas yet?

It's interesting how at the beginning of both this grow and my previous grow in the other journal there was quite a few fungus gnats. Then these guys turn up and they all disappear. I tried to find one earlier and failed. Not a single one. Maybe they could feed on adult thrips as they do have tiny little fangs. This ones pretty defensive. When I was trying to get as close to her as I could the camera lense touched her and she made a threat posture with her front legs raised. Then I touched her with my finger and she stood her ground and didn't move. I made a couple little puddles of water for her if she gets thirsty but she's going to have to find her own food. I'm not introducing any bugs for her lol

Forgot to answer your question....no
I'm not swearing by the nitrogen deficiency, just because it looks like it's starting in the middle and N is pulled from the oldest leaves first. Could be Mg as well. If you have any cal-mag they usually have N in them as well to cover all bases!
ok. We'll see if we can catch it earlier this time
I'm jumping in, way late, on this one! I'll read back a few pages to catch up.
:high-five:

Show me the way....
Don't worry buddy. We've still got plenty more to come. Infact we should be dropping some more beans next week :headbanger:

Ahhhh.... The striped brown Cannagrowerscaretheshitoutofyou.....
Very rare spider.....

cough....
Lol as the year warms up expect plenty more of them. These ones are ok but the Eratigena Atrica's make me want to board up the grow room. They'll be here soon
