Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Thank you fellow growers! It feels like this is the one lol. The whole reason for this grow was to show off some of Barneys strains and to provide nice pics. I was getting a little worried that I'd fail to provide any pics worthy of use lol. I promise you Barney, I'll send some nice pics soon lol

I did the exact same on my barneys bonanza sponsored grow. Even with all the issues i put on them and the different needs of the strains , failing lights ect...., they came through it without missing a beat in quality in the buds they produced. Barneys strains can take a serious beating so are perfect for New growers and old experimenters alike. Love their genetics.

Top growth looks great so let's hope the new soil is the ticket to smooth sailing. I'd still take off every damn single damaged leaf to make it easier to see what's new and what's old. There's plenty of bush under there still.

Is something nibbling on the bottom leaves of the Phantom?

Almost looks like thrips. Is there and silver looking streaks on the top of leafs?

Thank you Shed. I had noticed that before and thought that it was maybe caused by pests but it hasn't gotten any worse and there are no visible creatures of any type other than the wolf spider, the daddy long legs (which are everywhere no matter what I seem to do) and the occasional moth. Haven't seen any gnats for maybe a couple weeks now which I did think was strange. I will investigate further though

Hey CF. didn't notice any but I'll take a look. When I first saw it I was reminded of those caterpillars that bore through leaves. It's only on the Phantom and has been there for a little while now. Like I said to the Shed, I'll take a look then put some pics up shortly

By that pic i am about 99% sure it is thrips. Just a fyi I had them for three years tried most you can think of to spray and soak to get rid of. I decided to order lady bugs for under 20 bucks and they got rid of them in a couple days never been back sense. I even used lady bugs on a tent I had in my garage to get rid of spider mites. They will eat most pest and very cheap to buy.

There's plenty of ladybirds in my garden at the moment. I could capture some....but what about the spider? won't it catch the ladybird? I could get a bird to catch the spider before it catches the lady bird so it can catch the thrips! What about the bird?....it's ok. I have a cat :)

Well here you go. Does look like it could be thrips. There's not many leaves affected like this and they're only on the Phantom....

break out the 20% milk foliar spray. it will kill those suckers by suffocation.

Is this a children's song? Spray the buggers with something safe, like those I listed above. Do it every 2-3 days for 3 weeks. Then bring in some ladybirds and see who wins!
It's Flora's take on "There was an old woman who swallowed a fly". I used to love it when I was about 6. I have a feeling I'll be reading it again in a couple years
Ladybird death match...! I got them all round my house....great for killin nasties.
I've just gone out to look for some and I can't find any lol. There were some pretty cool looking blue and black ones around a few weeks back. I'll keep looking

One thing we certainly have at the moment is milk. There's breast milk, full fat, coconut milk, soy milk, chocolate milk and cat milk. Which one would you use?

ooop hark at you Ernie !!! how fast is your milkcart??. lol. spare breastmilk is the best ever. feeds humans to max strength in one fluid. It will kill of any soft bodied critter by suffocation. I will be trying Aptimil as a total nute soley at some point again. I am convinced it will cover the whole range of needs but cant figure the amounts needed. One day soon!!

We have a pretty awesome milkman, says his name is Pat Mustard. Lovely chap

Glad you said that and not the Chocolate. I don't think I'd be too much trouble to ask. Worst that'll happen is I'll get my head bitten off but I'll recover. Worst case I'll just use the full fat

I've removed all those nasty looking leaves for you @InTheShed. I took a few more as i thought they looked wonky with the remaining leaves all dotted about the plants. The Phantom has had all the leaves effected by thrips removed which only came to 8 small leaves. Looks like we caught that nice and early....
