They are curious. Here is the culprit.

Nice cats. :)
I decided to replace the Runtz that was dug up by my cat with the one in the starter pot. I figured it was better to use the starter pot Runtz as long as I had it.
I will top the three in the larger 3 gal bags in the next couple days.

What’s this? An empty text box! Wow I’ve been catching up so long it took me by surprise.
I was given some that was probably far more concentrated than I could make myself (thanks DD!) and it melted some tight neck pain away so quickly it had me thinking I imagined it,

Cheers Koro :thumb: and you’re welcome! That surprised me too, coming across that.
It’s been a day of surprises.
These things come in threes. Let’s hope your neck feels surprisingly better today stinker!

Hi Slipdog,
I have been adding a little Mycorrhiza to the bottom of each hole I uppot to. My understanding is it is beneficial to the roots and assists with nutrient uptake. Starts do fine in my experience without it.
Someone will probably chime in with more info. Links arent allowed but if googled there is alot of info.
Mycorrhizas are beneficial fungi growing in association with plant roots, and exist by taking sugars from plants 'in exchange' for moisture and nutrients gathered from the soil by the fungal strands. ... Phosphorus is often in very short supply in natural soils.

no one "chimed" in on it but amazon has a bunch. Tks

Did the Kitty eat it, or just stoned and enjoying the heat?
He just ate a couple lower Fan leaf tips. Then his eyes started glowing red with a Glow (that spoke of evil) YUP, that's my Kitty Pete! LOL :p

I wish it was so. Thanks DD.
Here is my cat right at this second. He’s a cat that barks…
He's a cutie. If he meowed I'd worry.

Our pets see us tending our gardens and want to be a part of. :cough:

This morning I topped the three in the larger bags at the 4th node, and also removed the first nodes. I was able to remove the first nodes on a couple others as well. Eventually all will have the first removed. Today is day 11 since sprouting.

After topping I cleaned the floor of the tent and watered. This watering I added the first Micro nutes as well as an alfalfa based growth stimulater that includes silica and other goodies. Next week I will start introducing other nutrients. I use a Dutch 3 part with a few other products from various other vendors thrown in.

The other day I replaced a Strawberry Cheesecake for one in a starter pot, and the soil crumbled when transplanting, it is not thriving like the others, the roots were disturbed. There is another Cheesecake in a .5 as a reserve. Will replace with the one in the .5 gal pot soon. Another Cheesecake's single blades were touching the soil. I made a couple crutches from garden wire for them to rest on.

A few had a little light burn on the first single bladed leaves, the burn has stopped. The light has been at 75% power for 5 days now without any new burn. After the first few days I started seeing fungus gnats, the yellow sticky was put in late, its trapped the free fliers for now but I will need to treat the soil as soon as I can give adequate water to do so. I use BT for the gnats.

Happy grows :peace:

Good morning, we had fresh snow overnight. Its a crisp snowy morning. My neck and shoulder feel a bit better today, and I can lift my left arm away from my body a little bit. It'll be a movie day. After looking for something different in the goodie box, I decided it would be a Blueberry morning.. day, and evening. The Blueberry was a frrebie surprise. One I want to grow again. :Rasta:

The plants took to the topping and node removal well. Its day 12, we are past the seedling stage now. The .5 gal pots are dry after a full watering in two days. By next weekend it should be down to the final 9 or maybe 10. I'm anxious to water enough to be able to treat the soil for the gnats.
The gnats are a bummer but can happen anytime. I see people often question what is the best, or better bagged soil. I always have used good quality garden soil from the nursery with good results. I do amend with pearlite and a few other things. Why reinvent the wheel?

Wishing all a great Sunday. Happy grows :peace:
