Barney’s Farm With The Mars Hydro

Nice pack! With ten of each you’ll be able to have a decent look at each one. I hope they are as good as their write ups! We’ll stay tuned and find out I hope.
That's the plan. :yummy: I've seen some pictures of the Shortcake. It looks unreal! Stay tuned, more to come.

This run went well. The @Mars Hydro win was a big plus. It allowed me to grow these out to close to their full potential. These strains are pretty and very potent. Christmas bud for the holidays.

I grow for myself and occasionally give a bit to family. These short veg grows allow me to have variety. The overall yield this run is similar to the last. Today the Lemon Tree was weighed after jarring overnight to check rh. At 69% rh, she weighed 107g. The Mimosa was 77 and the Runtz 91. The total for the three - 275.

I need to mix and amend soil for the autos. There is 2' of snow on the patio where I usually mix it up on a tarp. Today I’ll need to clear an area today so I can mix it later next week. The plan is to start germinating on Christmas day.

I’m still working on the grow plan, but will start with 3 of each in 2.5 liter pots (.5 gal) and uppot, then probably whittle it down to 2 of each, with 1 of each in larger 15 liter grow bags topped and 3 others in smaller 8 liter bags un-topped. If there is room, whatever is left that looks good can stay and be grown out in the starter pots. That’s the idea now, it could change. :peace:

That's a nice haul of some nice weed, Stinker! Congrats. :Rasta:

As for your next grow, I love a "plan"!

That's a lovely selection of new strains you now have for testing out. Hope you're quickly feeling back to normal.

Its a good selection, I've heard good things. It will be interesting to see them grow out.
I thought I was feeling better. We had some sun for awhile so I shoveled the snow to make some room. It wiped me out.

You got seeds for dayssssssssss :)

I’m so happy for you. And omg your snow, I’ve never seen snow like fall. I have seen on the ground once, but I’ve never seen it actually fall from the sky.

I would love to experience it falling and hitting my face and hair. It’s on my bucket list.

Are you in Canada?

Falling Snow is fantastic, a must experience, experience. :)

The grow will be fun & I will get to see what autos can do as far as up-potting and container size etc.

Enjoy those buds, mate. They look absolutely beautiful.
And congrats on the seeds from Barney's. You've got some nice autos there. I'm looking forward to see what they'll be like.

Thanks Nicky, I have been. :yummy:
I'm anxious to get these autos started. Also looking forward to seeing what autos you go with.

The sun is out today with an expected high of 3c. I need to amend the soil for the autos. The bagged soil was stiff but not frozen solid so I’ll give it a few hours in the sun before trying to work with it, the sun is always warm if it’s out.

The plan has somewhat evolved. It’ll now be 3, in 11 liter square fabric bags topped once - 6, in 8 liter round bags un-topped for a minimum total of 9 - 3 of each strain. Germination will start on Christmas morning.
Strawberry Cheesecake - Watermelon Zkittlez - Runtz

Both the 11, and 8 liter fabric bags are the same height. The idea, or plan is that by topping those in the larger bags, I can keep the canopy somewhat even + get 2 nice mains. There will be very little training as I want to see what they do naturally and hopefully get some big main colas.

Since I have the seeds, I’ll also start a minimum of 1 each as backups in my usual small black starter pots. I’m still undecided if I will uppot anything other than a backup. If I do uppot any of the 9, it’ll only be the 3 in the larger bags. I have some 3.8 liter bags for a backup if there is room.
Happy grows :peace:

I'm also curious to see what autos I will grow. We'll see what they're sending me...
I'm still deciding how many autos to put in my 60 X 120 tent. I want to do more than my typical 2 plants in there. I'm thinking 3 or possibly 4 plants. To keep the size down I'm planning on using 5 litre pots and no topping since I don't want them too wide. We'll see how that goes...

Do I understand correctly that you are going to put 9 plants in one tent? 90 x 90?

Yes, in a 100 x 100. If needed I'll thin it down. 6 will be in 2 gal bags no top. Shooting for 12 big colas.

Gotta say stink I'm a little jealous of how well @Barney's Farm are treating you lol. You got given the new autos and photos. Especially jealous of the photos. They gave you so many seeds too.

Ya might not realise but you are being well looked after there. Above and beyond dude!

Those temperatures bloke! Omg! I have never even felt 3 degrees! Not yesterday the day before it was 30 degrees here by 0800!

I have to comment on your neatness and order. It makes my eyeballs so appreciative! The older I get, the neater I get. I don’t even have a junk drawer anymore. And I swear it makes me think clearer. I hate clutter and I hate disorganisation, because for me it reflects my thinking space. Prolly doesn’t but I think it does.

I don’t know if I like the sound of an auto. That’s another fun fact about me, I hate change. Not even joking.

Anyway I am so looking forward to the opportunity of watching your grow from start to finish.

For you —-> :)

Noooooooo! Ok let me explain my TraEnglish.

Clutch your pearls - that indicates horror
Heart singing - that indicates happy

Our friend Stinkmeister’s neatness and order totes makes my heart sing :)
