Barney’s Farm With The Mars Hydro

I wonder if the shock/stress of that snow cover kicks up terpene production?
This morning the plant shows leaf stress from the cold, especially lower down. Who knows, the short .5 hour cold could have made an impact. Tomorrow she gets chopped.

Remarkable Stinker - img_1111.jpg is most excellent
Amazing plant, great work my friend :thumb:
I like how sharp the colors against the snow :Namaste:

That is also my favorite
:green_heart:
Damn. You see diagrams like this are bad. People like me get by saying the thingy and the doodad haha
I get the doodad lingo :thumb:

Maby I'm looking at the wrong thing .
Are these the ones you are talking about.
I believe they are referred too as sugar leaves.

Definitely a sugar on the right. The center... not sure. Be Safe :)

Oh. My. Fucking. God!
Congrats on all the yummy harvests stinker.

:Namaste:

Grow them for sure. It’s like Amy’s write up that Hash Girl linked to. Sometimes you’re going to get a fair representation of the plant you grew, sometimes traits of one of its parents will show more, sometimes something surprising gets thrown up.
And yes they should be feminised seeds there.
Great write up, thank you for linking it @HashGirl . I often get a few seeds in the larf and have grown them out with good results. I was curious what others did and how classified. Good write up Amy. Thanks, DD

Hell yeh!!
:thanks: This was a fun grow from the start. @Mars Hydro made this one possible for me.

Yes, I am. It is at the end of curing now. I like it very much.
:thumb:, enjoy. :yummy:

Sorry I again missed notifications of your thread, but you do run 2 threads so that does tend to overburden my brain. But, BUT, that

Lately I seem to miss notifications as well. The outdoor was closed last week, I forgot to do it sooner :Rasta:
BUT, that pic of your frosty plant in the snow is just unreal - love it! Great job and enjoy that harvest! :ganjamon:
:Namaste: , i'm getting ready to sample the first taste of the Runtz. The larf is nearly dry. I like the larf, its always ready to taste sooner than the rest. ;)

The Runtz Muffin has been broken down for boxing and will sit on the open box until tonight, and then I’ll close it up and burp it for a few days. There wasn’t much of a frame on any of these three. The Runtz is the smallest.
Tomorrow, the Lemon Tree will be chopped. :yummy:

We used to call the bract the calyx until we started to learn this stuff. The calyx is deep in the bract but invisible from outside.

The pistils there are the brown, dried off hairy bits and the new white hairy bits.

Fantastic looking harvest :bravo:

Reminds me of my Venom OG 5th generation

This morning I started early and stripped the Lemon Tree of the remaining fans, then gave the buds a light trim. The colors really came out in this grow. This plant was the largest of the three, and is definitely the strongest smelling. Since it was the last it was able to be dark alone in the tent with the filter.

After trimming I broke the tent down and mostly set up the new one. The fans and filter sock were cleaned. The light and forced intake I’ll do tomorrow. I have other work to catch up on this afternoon.

I use bathroom type ventilation fans for both forced intake and to move air around in flower. For flower I find this type fan doesn’t have a hard direct stream and just moves the air. I like to put one low and between the plants shooting up. I also use a cheap rheostat that I bought as a kit on the the intake. I find these fans are quiet and cheap. I ordered a few new 6” for the next round. I use a clip on or two depending up top.

This new tent will give me the room to do more. It arrived last month and I hadn’t opened until today. Unfortunately there are a few places where the lining was damaged and I can see the light. Will need to get inside later and see how bad, I marked what I saw to patch later, will also inform the maker but need to see how bad it is first. :peace:

Hey stink! She looks bloody lovely. Out of the new Barney's batch the lemon tree peeked my interest. I love the NYC diesel terpines and lemon so together are going to be so damn good. You've grown her lovely as well so good buds of good bud to come hehe

Congrats on the harvest, Stinker, and on your well-deserved Journal nomination! :bravo:

Yesterday I had a booster shot and am not feeling very well today. I’ll need to catch up tomorrow.
I was able to hang the light. The rest will need to wait. Happy grows :peace:

Awwww wishing you a speedy recovery :)

PS I don’t know why but that lone figure of your beautiful plant hanging in the tent has made me feel sad. I know it’s mental, but I swear I grieve the loss of my plants when I harvest. Like losing something I love. I hate the letting go.

Yesterday was rough. I hardly ever get sick or feel unwell. The covid booster kicked my ass. The whole situation keeps on kicking it. We made a decision as a family unit to vaccinate and boost for the sake of my 94 YO mother in law, a number of her 5 children see her almost daily.
Hopefully I am feeling better tomorrow. Be well everyone.

The Runtz was jarred yesterday at 91g. This was a better yield than anticipated. The Lemon Tree was broken down for boxing. The Mimosa and Runtz have exceeded my expectations, and I have no doubt the Lemon tree will as well.

The next run will be autos. Three strains of some of the newer autos from Barney’s Farm.
Watermelon Zkittlez , Runtz auto, with some Strawberry Cheesecake. Now, its time to come up with a plan!

Dialing in the tent and light will need to wait for another day. :peace:

Thanks Stone. Its not hooked up now. it will go back on a panel.

Fire is a real danger Stone. Thanks for watching out for all of us.

Congrats on the harvest, the tent and the GJOTM nom!!! You deserve it!

Thank you Krissi. Yesterday while down, I heard saws and machinery, this morning I see that they cut down that huge tree that was in the background of many of the pictures in that journal. Its a shame it was cut, but probably necessary as it was done in winter. Now there are many cords of wood to burn.

Congrats on the harvest, Stinker, and on your well-deserved Journal nomination! :bravo:

Thanks Grand Daddy B. The harvest is a plus, I love it. Potent stuff.
What an unexpected surprise the nomination was. I enjoy growing 420 and planning the shape, like indoor, the harvest is always a plus. She was a big wide girl with a flat top. Thanks for following..

Congratulations on the nom Stinker!

Thanks again Stone. Indoor with lights is great, but I will always prefer growing outside. 7 or 8 months is a long commitment, but well worth it. She was a big girl.

Thanks Buddy. Its taken all my willpower not to have a pre-taste of the Lemon.

Congrats on that beautiful harvest, mate. You'll enjoy that for sure. And congrats to your new great setup. It looks amazing!

Thanks mate, as you well know... there is some potency in these buds. It will be great to have more room.

Excellent :green_heart: :bongrip: You'll be back sounder than ever! My discomfort didn't last at all on the boost, hope yours is the same!
:bongrip:, was a good idea. Better now, but not perfect. :green_heart:

:circle-of-love: , thank you Trala. Tomorrow will be better

I get it, but we get to do it again and enjoy the rewards.
