Bapple's 2016 Outdoor Adventures - Photo & Auto Strains

These are the seeds you got out of your plant last year? You know what pollinated her? Selfed? Sounds like you have something special there...

Grizz, do you know anything about revegging outdoors?

I might shove them both somewhere to reveg and see if I can get some more seeds off them.... And then even clone them, I've been watching Lembatoasts cloning master classes, and I think I'm ready to take the plunge to keep this pheno....

Keep her warm.... Cut as much of her back as you can, leaving a couple bits of green leaf/flower on her.. Wait and wait and wait.. Reading your smoke report I instantly thought you should have got clones...

Cloning is easy... 10lt bucket, air pump/stone, small net, medium and water. Get s dome if you like and couple drops of rooting gel into water or even use willow water (what gardeners recommend me, non mj gardeners, for cuttings) Smart girl like you would have no worries...

So took down the remaining Blue Dreams and the AutoBlackberry Kush early this morning. It's rained a bit but it looks like there'll be more overnight.

Hope I've left enough of the plants for a successful reveg.

The lower branches of the Blue Dreams so that I can calculate the total yield of the two plants. They've gone into the freezer to make butter.

Burnt the Portela quite badly. On Sunday when I put the 3 photo girls in their final pots, I gave them all fish mix forgetting that the Fresh Plagron Growmix was already chock full of nutes :rollingeyes: major senior moment even if it was very early in the morning. The Bubbas Gift and the 707 Truthband (on either side of the ABK) didn't care about the excess nutes. So once again this year the Portela is the fussy girl.

That's it from me. :Namaste:

yeah you should do but to be honest in the time it takes for it to grow back you could grow another plants 3/4 ways done...

Hey Spart! :ciao:

I realise that revegging is a long tedious process, but I really want to save the pheno. Since I cleverly (not!) mixed the two plants together while drying in brown bags, I can't even tell which of them is the killer weed as they both had a slightly different look. They are in the hidey spot and not in anyone's way so it's not any effort at all on my part. Also plenty of jarred bud to last well past the Autumn harvest, so no panic to grow anything else immediately.

Does one just water sparingly, is there any special care reveggers need that you can share?

Hope your weekend has started well :Namaste::high-five:

Hey Big Budha! :ciao:

I am really chuffed with how much there is of the BD. I threw a whole auto plant in the freezer as suddenly there is too much bud - who would have thunk it 3 years ago:yahoo::yummy::yahoo:

Your line up is looking great also, you should get a pretty good haul come harvest time.

Thanks Bapple I know here you are coming from, I have some weed from 3 years ago, and it smokes smooth as a single malt Scotch.
Keep 'em Green Sister!

It's 24C out at the moment and the insane wind of the last 7 days has gone elsewhere. Feels very pleasant in the sun.

The three photo girls have settled into their new pots and location.

The Portela - the nute burn has not progressed and she's looking good.

image12540.jpeg

The 707 Truthband took a bit longer to react to the inadvertently applied fishmix, but she is also showing slight burn.

Bubbas Gift moseying along happily.

The UltraDawg Chem is coming along well, she also mildly exhibited the weird crinkling that affected the three other Photo girls earlier on. I have now figured out what the problem was; I was giving 10 times the correct dose of root stimulator, cos I got the dosages mixed up in my head as I have not bothered to reread the dosing instructions this year and for some bizarre reason, I was dosing as if it were fishmix. Anyway mystery solved.

It's Barbecue Sunday here so off to prep stuff for a late lunch. Happy Sunday everyone:ciao::allgood::surf::ganjamon:

Lookin good Bapple must be nice to grow outdoors sure saves a lot Have a great day BBQing and Keep 'em green!

Thanks Big Budha! :thanks:

Growing outdoors is a lot cheaper and stress free than indoor growing - and dialling-in the Eco system indoors is an art in itself. I'm grateful I can grow outdoors, and one of these days I may even grow a pair and put some plants directly in the soil.

Just finished eating way too much, and crispy baked - so all is good. Hope you're having a great Sunday :Namaste::high-five::ganjamon:

Hey Shiggity! Fancy seeing you in my yard, welcome man! :welcome::thanks:

Sounds like a splendid idea, but does the roots growing out of the bag and into the ground not mean massive plants? My nerves won't let me grow anything taller than me, and the pots grew plants bigger than I was comfortable with last year. My plan B if anything law enforcement related were to happen, relies on the plants being easily chopped down and disposed of. No legalisation or anything civilised going on around these parts yet and I am chicken.

Having said that, I will try a fabric pot for my Autumn grow this year and see how it goes, very few prying eyes at that time of year.

:Namaste:

Hey Staker!

The trim (bottom buds) were all from pulling the bottom parts of the 2 BD's, I did a phased harvest on both. Took the top colas and then 12 days later took the rest. Did not save any trim from the top colas cos I stripped off all the fan leaves and dried it with the tiny sugar leaves embedded in the colas.

Hope your Sunday is going great :ciao::ciao::allgood::green_heart:
