Bapple's 2016 Outdoor Adventures - Photo & Auto Strains

Well done Bapple :high-five: :passitleft:

Sorry I didn't see this till now, but great timing for what you prefer IMO. :thumb: I have found a pheno or two of their BD that is all hazy, that goes long, but the chunky hybrid pheno (what yours looks like) is beter at 60-65 days if you prefer no lethargy. She looks perfect, you're going to love it, great daytime weed.:Namaste:

No need to apologise Staker :ciao:

We are all crazy busy in Spring.

I am looking forward to the smoke as we really liked the smoke off their mother.

Hope all is well with you :thumb:

Well done Bapple :high-five: :passitleft:

Thanks Grizz! :thanks:

The bargain hunter in me feels like a lottery winner over these selfed freebies :):battingeyelashes::yahoo::yummy:

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods :Namaste:

:Namaste:

Last night it rained a bit which was great cos I put out my tomatoes, okra and I am trying peanuts for the first time, and I planted them straight into the ground yesterday. I am still tired over 24 hours later, but now it's done.

Girls are all doing fine.

Weather here has been coolish for the time of year, but great canna vegging temps if a bit cold at nights. Work is busying up so I will be putting the 3 freshman girls into their final pots on Sunday. Still not sure when I'll take the Autos, but probably in 14-16 days time.

G'day Bapple, getting busy, that's "good"? How do peanuts grow? I would have thought a tree but the sound of your post has me thinking otherwise... Do they need processing at harvest? Looking good Bapple.. I don't mind coolish night temps early, I feel they become stronger and more tolerant to environmental changes. Its like they just concentrate on this awesome root system to give themselves the best chance of living, then they explode, just from my observations...

Hey Grizz! :ciao:

They grow underground and need to be pulled out of the earth and detached from the plant at harvest. Processing depends on what it's to be used for. I like roasted peanuts, boiled peanuts, Satays, chicken and peanut soup but never tried growing my own peanuts before. Fingers crossed.

So still weird weather here - high winds and high of 21C, but lots of sun today.

Put my 3 Photo veggers in their final pots in Narnia. Stripped all 3 of their lower branches and fan leaves.

one of the autos lost its top cola and a main branch when a tree branch I was hacking off to make more light for the photo girls came down and landed on her. I pulled her, washed her and threw the plant in the freezer with the trim from the BD tops. Hope I don't regret it but the buds looked pretty small even though she was very frosty and stinky. The other auto has been moved into full sun, lets see what she does over the next couple of weeks she's over 70 days old.

The UD Chem chilling in the sun at day 6 from breaking ground. I'm hoping it's a girl but if not will see about some pollen collection if it's practical.

Sweet Seeds, nice genetics, give me a heads up when you start your new journal

Hi~Bapple~SUBed:circle-of-love:

Welcome Mr Chen:welcome: take a seat and feel at home :surf::rollit::yummy::blushsmile:

So buds from the top colas of the BD finally ready to jar after 10 days in brown bags.

108gs at 64% humidity. I left on the smaller sugar leaves cos they were absolutely covered in trichs.

Looks like I've got to go get more jars before the photo girls are ready in the autumn.

Hope everyone has had a fab start to their week :420::Namaste::ciao::allgood::grinjoint:

Hey Big Budha! :ciao:

I am really chuffed with how much there is of the BD. I threw a whole auto plant in the freezer as suddenly there is too much bud - who would have thunk it 3 years ago:yahoo::yummy::yahoo:

Your line up is looking great also, you should get a pretty good haul come harvest time.

So, last evening I collected all the small bits of bud and sugar leaf from the bottom of the 6 bags I had the BD drying in and rolled us two test doobies.

Well first off the smoke didn't feel anything like the smoke off the mother plant. I smoked half of my doob and immediately felt myself grinning happily. I got a drink and settled in front of the TV. I was sitting there thinking what a pleasant high it was; then I got up to go see why the SL hadn't joined me downstairs. When I got upstairs he was starkers in bed and he said he was palpitating ( the SL is a gung ho type individual and always overdoes everything so he smoked a whole joint) at this point, I realised that I was still getting higher (that's what it felt like anyway) :trance::biglaugh::tokin:

I got the SL some water and was trying to calm him down cos he said he did not like how he was feeling and was alternatiing between pacing the bedroom and diving unto the bed. About 10 minutes later I also started to feel mild palpitations but nothing I considered alarming. The high seemed to keep climbing (best way I can describe it) for another 90 or so minutes and then it started to settle into a relaxed state but one was still high.

Usually, I have a top up smoke at about 11.30pm when I go upstairs for the night, but last night I did not cos I still felt good when It was time to go upstairs.

The SL felt calmer and stopped palpitating about 90 minutes into his trip and came downstairs - he was then very active ( writing and tidying his study) until he came to bed at 3 in morning!!!

I am not very good at writing smoke reports, which is why I don't write them often, but this was very strong bud, I did not detect any body stone yet. I remained sitting while I was palpitating but it was a head high. Still a bit too much behind the the eyes, but that usually goes away with Sativas after a decent cure, and this smoke felt like a sativa not a hybrid smoke.

I liked the smoke and feel it will be a killer smoke after a decent cure....the SL says he doesn't like it and finds it hard to believe the seeds came from the September Blue Dream. Hopefully he'll continue not liking it, so more for me :yummy::yahoo::battingeyelashes:

Peace :420:

Oh forgot, I am going to take the rest of the Blue Dreams tomorrow if it looks as if the predicted thunderstorm is going to happen as I don't want them getting soaked just before harvest. I was going to take them down on Sunday so not a great change of plans.

:Namaste:

Ha ha, I don't do smoke reports either, I smoke it not in a fine wine way, lol... But I did one yesterday... Great report... Hso blue dreams? I've seen a loud one that sounds crazy also...
