Bapple's 2015 Outdoor Grow - Autos & Photos

That's a great question ms. Bapple, and from exp. that's exactly what it's doing as I had two this year do the same thing. And if you find out the best time to give bloom nutes to a revegger I'd like to know as well.

Have a lovely Monday girly!! Plants are looking swell!

Hey Wildme! How's tricks?

Autos are so much easier - but I've got to persevere with my photo girls for dream big yields :rofl:

I will ask some of the big hitters their opinion on when to introduce bloom nutes.

Hope your week has started splendidly :thumb::high-five:

Looks like you're back Bapple and the garden is coming along that's great news, and Some smoke in a jar your now set for a while. Until the next chop!

Hey Big Budha! Thanks for dropping by.

I am back and happy to be back in smoke.

Any thoughts on when to introduce bloom nutes to my photo girls, they keep throwing out pistils and then changing their minds.

I started growing MJ because of Autos. Found them really easy, but wanted bigger yields after my autumn experiment last year with ASD blew us away re yield and loudness :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

My only mistake with these girls was starting them so early, next year will do better.

I will be looking out for your update.

Sweet! Great minds think alike, that's the biggest mistake for me as we'll as I have come to realize that revegging plants are a big pain in the ass! I've never grown an auto, would you have any suggestions on a good auto, yeild and quality wise?

The update may take awhile as I haven't updated in awhile lol

Oh and one more question for ya do you know what a portella plant is?

I'm no heavy hitter, but here's what I've found in my indoor experience. You only add to the soil, supplemental nutes that you anticipate that the plant will use, in the next week. That's it, nothing more. So, if she's looking like she got a false start, and is back in Veg mode, she won't need the bloom nutes or stims. My two pennies. :)

I have only ever grown Dutch Passions Auto Mazar, BAM, AutoBlackberry Kush and Buddha Seeds auto purple kush and magnum. All good yielders except the BPK. The Buddha Magnum yielded well but the BAM was also a good yielder and that's without any LST.

I enjoyed the high/stone from all the autos but then grew an ASD and decided we liked that high/stone better.

Portela as in my Sativa girl? She is a cross between an ICER and Jamaican Lambsbread

Thanks for that CS, very helpful two pennies :thumb::circle-of-love::high-five:

Hey Bapple, congrats on the nice big buds you got in the jar! those look nice :-) mine were like 2 weeks drying in bags, and then I cured in jar for 3 weeks.. smoking as I went.. I must admit after 3 weeks in the cure jar the smoke got lovely and tastey and potent to.. I must get those we bags for perfect RH next time around. How much weight you get outa the first plant? I got shity yield outa mine, only 1 and 3/4 ounce dry of 3 plants, but hey, life is all about living and learning :-)

Hey G!

I did start off trying to weigh my harvest but in the end did not keep track. Even worse I have 3 strains all mixed up in those three jars.

The AutoBlackberry Kush was disappointing airy buds probably ounce and a half, but really just guessing.

Happy weekend G

Here it's hot, hot, hot, low 30's.

So updates are pretty boring and repetitive as it's just some rather large :):) photo bushes throwing out pistils and then changing their minds......sigh

Everyone is doing just dandy and they were all fed BioBizz FishMix at 3ml/ltr

It's barbecue Sunday so just about to throw some serious meat on the heat.; not forgetting a good bottle of Bordeaux to wash it down.

Happy Sunday all wherever you are. :Namaste:

Hello 420 chums!

Nothing new or interesting to report re my girls, except that they are all revegging after the attempted flowering.

Just a quick post to say I am off to the UK again for 6 days - work has been crazy busy (which is a good thing) and a girl has got to do what she's got to do.

Read you all in a week or so. :Namaste:

That sounds like a good sign that they will go full term. Enjoy your trip B! :cheertwo:

Thanks C!

Hope all is well in your garden.

Back from my travels and will try to do an update soon....work is crazy but a welcome crazy.

Hey Lord J, how's tricks? :high-five:

Good to hear you're back on the grid :thumb:

My girls are doing good, nothing worthwhile to report. I, however am so busy that I am stopping at about midnight everyday and starting again at 6. Won't look a gift horse in the mouth, as everything goes quiet again in November.

Hope all is well with you and Mrs J.

Hello my 420 buddies!

It's been crazy hot here, low 30's over the last 5 days. Watered my 3 photo girls on Wednesday but when I went down this morning they were all showing signs of heat stress and dehydration. The Portela seems to be a nitrogen hog and leaves start yellowing from the bottom whenever she does not get a hefty dose of Nitrogen at least once a week.

The Amherst Sour Diesel and Hollands Hope (Portela No 2?) are suffering from the excessive heat but seem more chilled with the extreme conditions. All three were fed BioBizz Fishmix at 5ml/litre and a hefty dose of Magnesium Sulphate (60gs in 17 litres of water)

All 3 plants now come up to my nose and I am 5ft 10, they continue to reveg like mad. I have bought some Plagron Green Sensation but still confused as to when to introduce it to my girls.

I was somewhat regretful that I had started the photo girls way too early, but with the mad heat levels at the moment which is set to get even hotter next week, I think I am glad I started them early, as they are now big and robust, seedlings would not survive this heat if they were not watered daily and shielded from the mad sunlight, as I don't have the time or inclination to water anything daily - it's all good. As Narnia has become progressively more overgrown my paranoia about their height has receded

All 3 have been moved into a shadier part of Narnia into the holes vacated by the harvested Autos so now they are only getting 6 or so hours of direct sunlight and a further 4 or so hours of dappled sunlight, cos it's just too hot and I have no intention of watering more than 2ce a week.

It's too hot for Barbecue Sunday, so made some smoked fish and Prawn salad and cracking open a bottle of decent Bordeaux. This is my first day off in 14 or so days so milking it.

Hope all my 420 chums are having a sterling Sunday, wherever you are. :high-five:
