The AK is finally bulking!! I knew it would happen I just remember it being sooner than the end of September
I just gave them a bath and I think they liked it.
still about 4-5 weeks.
Our big D is the winner of this group
she is doing absolutely perfect, I couldn't ask for more !

I really feel for you on the clones. For me it was overwatering and high PH (6.2 seems the goal) and lasted WAY TOO LONG. Have you checked PH on the runoff?
I have heard that different batches of coco coir can have wildly varying salt levels (as in ocean salt water.) The worms seem to like my batch of coco coir. I don't know how you would check for high salt besides tasting the runoff water.

Rad....Botanicare coco is generally considered low salt, better rinsed. Sanctuary Big City Hydro Mix is also good if available back there. I like Royal Gold Basement Mix or Tupac a lot too.

So anyone in the Northeast knows this time of year can be killer to an outdoors crop.
they are forcasting a week of rain so I took down what I thought was close enough.
I did it at a friends house that was close to my spot, here is the D hanging mid-chop. Sorry about the crappy pics, that was the last thing on my mind that day.
I think she will yield 2-3 ozs
This was the LSD. I was so excited to try it as I have never grown/smoked it before.
when I went to pick it up it was emaciated and covered in caterpillar shit.they totally ruined it in a matter of a week. I dunked it in a light dose of h2o2 for about 10 mins and shook off 20-30 little green meanies
I was able to salvage about a half but it looks like total garbage.
The 4 AKs are still out there, I have been spaying them with h2o2 and trying to dry them once a day. They need at least 3 more weeks. I am on my way there today again to try and make them some sort of shelter that will withstand a Hurricane.
Wish me luck. I'll get some better pics of harvest tonight or tomorrow.

Here's the D after her final trim. She is probably a week or two early but it's survival conditions on the cape right now.
I trimmed the whole plant, I have never done this before but it seamed easier to hang in a confined space.

Cool basement....you lucky East Coast growers all seem to have basements. H2O, sink, good space....seems great for growing. Houses out here down have them. CareStaker posted where trimming when green increases the possibility of "hay smell" so I now stop at pulling off the big fans.

I've never heard that but I did notice a slight smell of hay this morning. I'm hoping the cure will bring the fuel smell back again.
They are drying in an air conditioned room so the humidity is down, it's been crappy for days and the humidity outside is way up there.

So the final weight on the D was 42 or 43 gs. It depends on how big the doob was I spun when it went into the jars. It has been curing for about 10 days and the aroma is really starting to come out.
It definitely has a slight purple hue and a slight purple smell.
The LSD was ruined by caterpillars but the small amount I could salvage, mabey a quarter, is amazing smoke. It has a crazy spice smell to it.
Last night the call was made to chop the rest of the AK. I looked at trichs and they were all cloudy as far as I could see. There have been spots of mold.
I'm guessing about a QP dry, we left alot of the trim on. it was kind of a rushed trim session, it took three of us just over an hour.

these are the clones from the caterpillar infested LSD. This was some great smoke and under the right conditions I think she will flourish.
Time to test my soul....I mean soil.
I put 4 in 5 gals of my cooked coco, they will get topped sometime I'm the next two weeks.
I'll keep them under the cfls for another two weeks then probably put into flower.
the rest of them I'll top this weekend and veg for another 5 or 6 weeks.
I got this from a homie, it looks more purple than in the pic, but anyway she, or he wanted me to harvest and......

Don't get me wrong...Some cops have a place in this world but most have a chip on there shoulder.
This asshole just dumped almost 2ozs out on the side of the road because I didn't have my card on me. It was either that or go back to the station and, from past experience I know that doesn't turn out well.
