Really bad news there sir. So sorry to hear it. My wife has had her ankle in a non-walking, can't put any weight on it, cast for 8 weeks. The cast came off Monday, and she still can't walk on it, but every night it was "We made it through another day."

One day at a time. It's all you can do.
