Back For More - Organic Coco

Figured it was time for a quick update.first off is Lucy, she has stayed very short which I'm glad for because the majority of my next run will be her clones.

Flowering nicely but I know she could do more.

This is our diesel, she is gonna be super nice! After a quick whiff last night there is no doubt in my mind that it is indeed some sort of D.

here's a group shot. The AK is doing shit.i just went through last year's journal and the flowers were doing much better this time last year.

All set up in the basement, just need these clones to veg a while.
20150916_193123.jpg

I am running 2 600 w HPS and a 6" filter in the flower tent.

Also, my tent is totally f*#!ed. It is a 4x8 that I got off Bamazon about 3 years ago. It has been put up and broken down 5-6 times.
It almost looks like the poles belong to a different tent.

I would like to frame a few walls but it's not my place and I don't think he would go for it.
Second option is get another POS $200 job off the ol' interwebs
Third option, which I will probably do is wait until the expo in Boston next month and try to get a good deal on something nice.
I was there last year and they had some crazy show specials, especially if you wait until the end of the weekend.
I have been eyeballing the Gorilla 5x9, it would be enough room to put a 400-450 led in between the two HPS.

grimm...I have Gorilla & would recommend it. Just added another from its Shorty line. You must be talking about Max Yield Show. I enjoy them & have learned a lot talking to mfrs. They love it when you stop & talk instead of "grabbing & dashing" off w/ samples. But dammit they skipped NorCal this yr. Yeah, I heard SD is favored in the east. I'm hardcore about it & like to have some or at least a SD cross around at all times. Saw you ask about GDP....kinda started the color craze out here. Like it, but not a must grow for me. Maybe down the line. Ken Estes is the local go to guy for GDP. Seeds available. :Namaste:

That's exactly the show I was talking about. I wasn't sure I could mention it here, I have had some stuff deleted.
It is very informative, and you can walk out of there with some sweet schwag. I havent had to buy a bottle of anything since then, not that i use them too often. I also ended up with two kits of the complete House & Garden line ups, I may do a hydro run at some point this winter and would like to see what the rave is all about.
I talked to the Gorilla guys for a while last year and they sold me on their product. I believe his words were "This is usually the second tent people buy."

I'm hoping they don't feel like traveling home with one of their 5x9s.

The NL is dry. I took out a little sample to try before it went into jars. It has a fruity/citrusy taste. The smoke is smooth even without the cure, gotta love the organics. She was nice and yellow by chop time.

The effect, what is really all about, was super stoney/sleepy. You can see in the pic below there is quite a bit of amber.

20150917_154200.jpg

So all in all I likey. I would try another NL, probably a photo next time. That was the first auto I have grown, I will grow more outdoors. I like big plants indoors.

Pics are flip flopped, my lazy ass doesn't feel like fixing it. See what I mean about the high.:tokin:

I Ph the water I soak the cubes in. They have been getting straight tap the whole time. The ph of the tap water is 6.2, which is a little high for coco but they also are affected by the ph down.
I think that I put them in pots a little too early. They all had roots showing but the biggest ones were about 2-3 inches out of the cube, some of them were barely showing.
I have also noticed the ones under the cfl are doing better than the ones under the T5. Might be dumb luck, I tend to start potting with the best looking and mabey I just put them all on that side.
Cloning has always been my Achilles heal in this whole gardening adventure that I'm on, I always get them to take, it just takes about a month from cutting to actual veg.

They do have some green growth on the top. The plant I took them off of showed a significant N deficiency a day or two after I took cuttings, all of the clones showed the same signs at the same time, go figure. I think I was lucky they even rooted.

I have been kind of flapping lately and haven't been able to order any seeds, but I do have a small vial of bag seed I have collected. Everything is from good weed I just have no idea what it is. I have been contemplating popping a few and ditching most of the clones.

I've been thinking about building myself one of those fancy cloning do-hickeys. I tried one with just the air stone and it was an epic fail, like zero out of 20 or 30. I would like to make one with the sprayers (foggers?)

Early vegging is my biggest struggle, but cloning success comes and goes.

This cloner with sprayer cost under $40 including shipping. I will be trying it on it's maiden run this weekend.

Quick update....the D is bulking, still has a way to go. I asked the trichs last night and they told me to wait a long time. They said " we are obviously a heavy sativa and want to see Halloween" They said that mold might get them first if I'm not careful.

20150918_175651.jpg

the AK told me not to worry about mold so much because she was not going to produce much and I wouldn't have to worry about it so much other than her tendancy to find all of the mold spores around and have a party in her pants.

20150918_175637.jpg

Little lucy, short and stout. I am a big fan of this girl. She isn't doing much outside but I know she will be a big winner in the tent.
20150918_175659.jpg

So I tried something new. I have never taken the term "drench" literally but these girls did. High P, High K .

it was mostly fish and seaweed, some poop, and I actually added some micros to the bathtub.

After the girls take their bath I will bubble this for a couple of days with some added stuff. Ancient forest, azomite mabey some more creepy crawlies.
20150918_190649.jpg

YES...DRENCH!!

20150918_190718.jpg

So all 6 girls got "The Tub" I have never done this but I know the coco won't saturate too much, I took them out after the bubbles stopped coming up, picture drowning a skunk, and let them drip for a few mins over the bucket. I was starting to bubble a tea and little Lucy said she might want to go for a dip, the rest followed suit.

And the clones have mites. Rado you were right on it saying they were doing shit. I am going to give them a hearty dose of Cleaner Green today, two days from now, and so on. If they don't make a turn around in two weeks they're compost.

I have not tried the sns products.
I will be alternating between Cleaner Green and another product called Kapow.
We'll see what happens, the clones have already had a rough life, it may be ending prematurely.

The AK is finally doing something, I think my drunken drench might have helped.

The ladder is 6'
20150922_141805.jpg

She is just starting to bulk, these colas have gotten huge in the tent.
20150922_144520.jpg
if she can make it to Halloween I'll be doing pretty good.

This is another girl around the corner

again.....
20150922_144420.jpg

I'm not giving up on them yet. The bugs seem to have subsided after one HUGE dose of no bug stuff.
20150922_142129.jpg

they turned a little brown, they have just been yellow )÷€ it was a huge dose... I can only get over there once or twice a week so I have to make it count.
