BabyTrees First Grow!

Thank ya and welcome back! @stoneotter your plants are looking real nice and healthy too! I'm sure the lights gonna do me some justice, I've been playing with the clones getting them all ready, my buddy that's been growing for years is actually going to do LST!! He hasnt tried it in the 10+ years of growing, he swears by just topping once, and he actually is gonna change his growing methods to try it. Made me feel good for sure. He also says the tent smells really good and that my senses are hella dulled to the smell since I sleep in the same room as the plant cause I can only really smell it after I touch it and smell my fingers lol.

I actually just down potted a bunch of clones.. those big pots are too large, and I have different plans for the grow because of all this heat I'm going to grow a NL in my closet under the Mars 300W(blurple 128w true),
And the Blue mystic will go under the ts1000,
And three plants will go into the bigger tent outside and hope they don't burn this time! I think hes excited to grow after seeing how I did so let's hope the passion is back!

It must be nice to have a grower close. I'm jealous, my nearest person growing that I know is almost 2 hours away. It'd be nice to get lost in the grow room yacking away. I'm with your buddy in thinking that all they need is a topping. With a little lst to open them up you'll be golden. :green_heart:

Yeah, I really like how this plant grew out, and I was thinking of doing it the same way, just being more selective on what stays and what goes come flower time, Im not sure what would be the best option for his tent since its like 3x3x6 and running three plants. I just tied them all down so all the lowers on the clones can start growing

I was thinking this weekend potentially, if it needs another week come that time I'll let her go another week, but this week is nice and cool and next week is hott, so I wanted to get her out Thursday or Friday before we start hitting 90 degree days again. @HunterNitro . And thanks for joining bro! Picked a great time I'll peak around your garden in a few.

Here are my next two plants, Northern Lights,
And Blue Mystic. Both looking Good so far! The larger one is the Blue Mystic.

Thanks @Backlipslide hope ya had a good day, and that the little ones are doing well!
The day was alright, I was forced to fix ugly boarding at work today, so it dragged on all day. Tomorrow should be different. The baby is good!! Eats, cries, poops, cries, sleeps, wakes up, cry’s... lol she’s gaining lots of weight... so that’s good!!

Hopefully tomorrow flies by for ya man, I know I hate fixing mess ups lol, normally takes longer to correct than it would of just to replace it.
They got me unboxing tonight probably got 40 pallets to unbox going to make my night go by quick though, everything tonight I've got to unbox is heavy though lol.
Good glad to hear you're already fattening up that baby I was hoping you didn't release it into the wild yet!
My nights seem to dragggg on as I get closer to harvest Ive been getting more excited about getting home and checking on the big girl everyday cause I don't get to see her before I leave for work cause she's sleepin by then.
So it's nice to have stuff to unbox to take my mind off my plant lol! I've been reading a lot of grow journals too which helps pass some time!

release her into the wild yet!
Hahaha  nope not yet! Her day is coming though:laughtwo:

damn you sound like you nights are super busy! I agree, makes the time go by fast!

this apartment building were in, was started by a diff company, then ran out of money or realized how fucked up everything was and abandoned it. It sat empty for 5-6 years. There were units that were finished tapped painted, and knock down ceilings finished... there was 60 patches cut in the walls in each unit to fix all the plumbing and electrical, so we’re forced to fix everything where they cut holes. Ceilings, walls, bathrooms, bedrooms etc. Been a night mare!! Every single balcony that’s out there needs to be removed and rebuilt. That’s what I’ll be doing today.

@Backlipslide bro I don't miss construction one bit .. I use to pull cables and do installs on A/V equipment and im terrified of heights so I had some days I damn near quit lmao!
I can do lifts no problem! But.. those damn boom lifts sketch me out lmao! And scaffolding lol I remember installing speakers on scaffolding/ladders and there was a day, with no railing at the top of the scaffolding and my legs were just shaking the entire time, took me so long to do each speaker :laughtwo::laughtwo:, be careful up there and remember to harness up! That sounds like a nightmare man, it sounds like the prior owner tried to do it himself to cut costs and found out everything's a little more co
mplicated than it seems lol. it always made me chuckle when sites tried to have Electricians pull/terminate our cables cause they never did it right I can't tell you how many jobs we went too where we were going back over electricians work for data outlets they attempted to terminate lol.

And yeahh tonight flew by man, but most weeks it's not this busy it's typically busy like once or twice a week with unboxing we've just been getting a ton of shipments in recently which has kinda been nice cause I'll dedicate like the last 6ish hours + to unboxing gear/ breaking down the boxes and taking out trash and such .

Sounds like you're kind of a jack of all trades. At first it sounded like you were a framer, but it seems like you do quite a bit?

Ahh I love construction!! I love building things. I love going into an empty building, visualize everything (because of the prints) then walk out with everything finished... it’s a good feeling. I’m ok with heights, at times my knees will feel it, and will shake a bit... but I soon get over it. I love my job!! Some days are really hard and intensive, other days, they’re really easy.

we’re you a data guy?

Articulating lifts are my favourite to run. The 125 footer is gnarly when it’s extended out fully. It’s fun fun!! Lol I can run them all except for a zoom boom and a bob cat (because the company hasn’t paid for my tickets yet) I can’t say it enough. I love my job!

I used to be my own boss. Making boss man money, picking my own hours, paying my own guys, but sometimes I would work for a week, sit for two weeks, work for two weeks sit for another week... it was also residential work, so on and so forth... so I picked up a job for a diff company doing commercial (I like residential work but doing commercial, there’s so much more to it, and I feel I actually have to use my brain. Doing residential is almost brainless work.

My job title is an Interior system mechanic lather. I do everything from framing, insulating, polly, drywall, I know how to tape as well but I don’t tell people I do know how, because I hate it. I also do T bar, and also install FRP.

I used to be a plumber before getting into the trade as well. I’ve also been a tin basher and installed many furnaces in many houses. I was also a roofer. I’ve done concrete work before as well... so jack of all trades? Nahh maybe not, but I do know how/I’ve done many jobs before...

@Backlipslide yessir, I was the data/AV guy anything from cameras, speakers, white noise, TV's we'd install it /pull cables for it.
And shit man it sounds like you're a jack of all trades to me, you've done quite a lot of jobs,
trades are really fun, you learn a lot of life skills doing em, I was gonna hop around and find a trade I liked till I found out this place was highering and this companies been ranked like #6 in the world to work it's pretty dope, they do a lot to keep us happy, day shifters have a full catered cafeteria, we've got a full gym, pool tables, arcade machines, a putting green, showers, it's pretty crazy haha.
I love my current job, the last of my jobs I didn't care too much for, cabling was fun more days than it was bad though if I'm gonna be honest!
I actually prefer new construction /commerical buildings over residential as well, but mostly cause residential is a real pain for data guys, having to go thru finished walls/cielings is so not fun haha!
But yeah I loved going into the houses and being there with all the different trades and seeing the progression throughout I met some great people on job sites, and some real awful GCS lol.

I did land surveying for a bit too which was cool because we'd be one of the first people on the land, we'd like rough stake where the concrete would be going, spray the lines, come back a month or so later and do a "pin" which was just setting points in the concrete, than we'd come back at the end and do a final, which was taking shots of the walls, and pools ext, that was Awesome to see the progression of buildings from start to finish.

Ive attempted backbuilding but i may have done it too late in flower...might of missed the window by a week or so...i do see a bit of a difference but ill know once i harvest and report back!

Awesome, looking forward to hearing your results! I'll have to grow this strain a few times than try it and see if there's any difference, I don't think this run about to come up is a fair comparison since I just upgraded lights, I'll have to do a run under these than try backbudding the next harvest if I can find some evidence of it being useful, it sounds like a very legit idea but I know it's added stress/healing the plant has to go thru as well, in a time I don't defoliate or anything.
