BabyTrees First Grow!

Good morning everyone, girls woke up looking pretty good but I noticed some I guess id call these rust spots? Is this something I should worry about since I'm so late into flower? raised the light up cause some of the koalas were about 3 inches from the light and started tacoing up maybe this had an effect? Lights 10 inches away now. Of course I took some beauty shots when I raised the light! Looking so amazing! :slide::goof:

Looks like a potassium deficiency if it is showing up all over the plant... if it is just in the upper leaves, I would treat for calcium instead.

Thank you! I hope you're doing well,
I'll peak around the canopy and feed accordingly in a day or two when she's ready for more nutes. You got any beauties brewing in your garden?

Nothing going at the moment... I am closing on my new house on the 25th and the moment I move in, several plants will be started, autos outdoors and regulars indoors. As you can well imagine, I am chomping at the bit, and very excited to get going again!

Congrats on the house that's so exciting, making big changes I love it!
Looking forward to seeing your grows do you know what gallon pots you'll be doing the autos in? How do they fair outside vs indoors in your experience?

All of my outdoor grows so far have been gorilla operations deep in the woods, and they were mostly left on their own with mother nature to do what they could do. You can guess that the results were not spectacular. This is going to be my first chance to do a LEGAL outdoor backyard garden grow (locked privacy fence) and I plan on putting them in 5 gallon bags and feeding them with MegaCrop. I have no doubt that they will do amazingly well in the outside sun and with my tender care.

Along with those, I will be doing an indoor grow, and will be setting up my bloom room with my NextLight Mega in a 4x4 tent and my homemade 6xCOB array in a 2x4 veg tent. Since my legal limit is 6 flowering and 6 immature plants, this should be more than adequate to provide me with medicine all year round. One of the first things I am doing upon gaining access to the property is installing solar panels, which will easily pay for the cost of running my lighting, air conditioning, computers, ham radio and then some. Life is about to take a decided turn for the better.

That is going to be so fun having so many plants to play with, Solar is smart going to save you a lot of money in the long run, I can not wait to see those beauties and what you're gonna be getting from those killer lights. Out door is going to be a really fun experiment as well Megacrop seems like some realllly good stuff jam packed full of goodies!
I wish my state would hop on board the legalization train, we have sister states legalized/decriminalized it's about time we do as well.

It’s looking good man! Looking great a matter of fact!!

your so deep into late flower right now, that I wouldn’t worry about the rust spots. It’s the plants normal reaction to pull the old nutrients it’s not using in old fan leaves moving them to the colas.

long time no see bro! That kind of was my original thought as well, but I'm feeding till the end of harvest with nutes so next feed I'll probably try 25% more P and see if it helps, no harm done if it doesn't solve the issue!
On a side note this is my next mystic plant that'll be going into my 2x2 when this mystic finishes just started LST today, she's starting to get some size to her now !

no harm done if
Absolutely, does not hurt one bit! Just remember, the damage is already done, and it will never repair it’s self. It may slow it down, yep ! And that’s key! It might not, who knows. By the pics of your last trich shots, they’re almost finished anyways, if it doesn’t, then roll with the punches till the end. We’re those trich shots of the calyxes, or fan leaf?

long time no see bro!
Yes sir! I saw that! Had a lil bit of catch up to do! Took a small hiatus from everyone’s journals to free up some time for the birth of our second daughter. Now with the wife breast feeding, I found some of my time back (still not as much as it was, but that’s expected).

good to see everything running like clock work around here!

That’s some sweet training brothern! Look forward to seeing that one stretch into flower! :high-five:

Oohh mannn, I almost forgot y'all a baby I was wondering where you had disappeared too congrats on a safe delivery homie!!

I checked multiple top nugs of bud and tried not to look at the fan leaves or sugar leafs as I heard these aren't as good of an indicator, I will also be looking lower down on the plants nug as some more days pass we are definitely down to the wire on this harvest and I am getting ecstatic when looking at these nugs, I still have yet to fully decide if I'll do a full plant hang or If I'll take it down branch by branch and leave the lower nugs to bulk up a bit, I almost want to harvest everything just to get a idea of the weight but I know id lose out on a couple extra grams.
This is listed as a 7-9 week flowering strain were almost 8 weeks since 12/12.

And thanks man, I can't wait to see how the clone grows compared to the momma, and be able to see how much faster itll grow start to finish.

I'm extremely happy I went with LST the plant really turned out beautiful, like that canopy is truly gorgeous to look at and it totally doesn't feel like it's mine I look at it like I diddd that!?! I also really love having this journal and being able to see the progress start to finish and having y'all to come talk to about growing cause there's not very many people I can discuss growing with,
My favorite quote I've been told recently is - "Growing is the coolest thing you can't talk about"

Thanks brother!! We had a baby girl, 6 lbs 12Oz. 20 inches long. She was a spitting image of her older sister lol. A few weeks went by now, and she starting to get her own look, but she’s still looking just like her sister. She’s such a good baby (compared to her sister) lol super quiet, hardly any ever complaints, and first puke/spit up very often. Her sister was like a water fountain every time she burped!

Awesome!! Your in the right place!!

that’s completely up to you!! I’m normally always in a hurry to get the plants out of the tent, so I don’t waste any extra time, and harvest the entire plant.

I used to harvest every branch, It was alright, but then I got into the methods I use, and I do what’s best for me.

Haha yes sir! When I first found the forums, I said the same thing. It’s sure nice to be able to talk to like minded individuals. Then I started talking about it at work, and BAM! I was surprised with the amount of people that grow! Lol everybody and they’re grandma grows now that it’s legal! Lol

but it sure is nice to talk to others about the hobby. What’s really nice here, is the pictures and everything so people can follow along and have visuals of what’s going on.:high-five:

That's awesome I'm glad she's easy so far! It's normally the opposite where you'll have a great baby the first time all quiet and you're like "aw babies are so easy I don't know what people are talking about" than Bam you get a second one that's an uncontrollable ball of energy! Hahah.

Exactly, and if it was legal here id be more open about it at work and such.. I'd probably be in the cannabis industry honestly it's a dream job of mine.
For now I have y'all and a friend of mine that knows I grow to talk to about it with, and exactly right man I love following the journals here cause youre growing your plants with people! Y'all have been here since my very first bag seed, so you've literally grown my mystic with me since like the first week of veg, it's super cool to think about..
I also love being able to look at so many different grow techniques and styles too makes me want to experiment Everytime I peak around haha.

Your plant looks very healthy:goodjob:
Thank you, it's thanks to the people here steering me in a good direction, and of course y'all's Mars hydro grow lights are a big help! This was grown from the old mars hydro Blurple 300s I got a few years ago. (128) true Watts I'm ready to find out what sort of yield I pulled with it!
I've seen some great stuff with the new white light leds I had to order one! I almost tagged you to get your reccomendation but I got excited and ordered one, if this new one does me some justice like I think it will, I definitely want to look into the larger lights for my shed grow where I'll be tossing most my clones in.

Thank you for swinging by, we're just getting to the best part! You picked a great time to join!

It’s been my treat following along!! You’ve been doing great! You caught on real quick!! Have no doubt you’ll teach others, with great success!! :high-five:

This big girl grows herself, she's such a happy plant! I'm real happy y'all stuck around and helped out, y'all's training techniques work wonders!

I sure hope I can help some others with these journals and even in person if I can get a buddy growing and be able to guide them and show them the different structures of plants for different techniques and stuff,

Man I've been waiting to update you guys on the other mystic and I peaked in before I left today and the entire plants pretty burnt crispy the tents been like 90 degrees it says, don't think it will live, I'm gonna get y'all a pic after work so you can see how huge it was. The NL is alive surprisingly, just the top is slightly burnt, rest is O.K so far but who knows if it'll stay that way...
Was really hoping they'd pull something off in that tent with the plants, the mystic was getting freaking huge I'm not sure how far gone is too far so maybe it will pull through I don't know but it's like really bad though was pretty disappointed when I saw it cause I really wanted to compare trichome coverage and yields between the two plants.

Morning everyone!
Hope y'all have a good day, or had a good night if ya just got off like me.

So just peaked into big girls tent, and I think the I'm going to call them rust spots are getting a little worse, just wanted to update with pics to see if the opinions are the same, some of her leaves are curling a little too I thought it was light related but I raised it and it hasn't changeds
She's still clear/cloudy trichomes no amber in sight yet, which is fine with me Id love to get the new light in and have her under it for a week or two! I'm in no rush for a quick harvest I'm shooting for the best I can get!

Alright, today I transplanted three clones, two Northern lights, one Blue mystic, I dropped a mystic broke a leaf think it's probably fine I honestly dropped it off the table like last week too, I've been abusing TF outta these cloneso_O
But she's still looking fine, she'll probably will take it as a punch in the noggin and a now get on growin! Hopefully she doesn't think I'm too abusive! Hahah
But, I found some couple gallon pots in the garage - so I thought, bad judgement on my part they're probably like 10gallons+ I'd guess, I used a tonnnn of soil, but the ladies are going to have plenty of wiggle room, here's my babies little root booties and a family photo shoot as well! Also spotted a little baby rabbit that was terrible at hiding, I was like two foot away from it!
