BabyTrees First Grow!

Morning everyone!
Hope y'all have a good day, or had a good night if ya just got off like me.

So just peaked into big girls tent, and I think the I'm going to call them rust spots are getting a little worse, just wanted to update with pics to see if the opinions are the same, some of her leaves are curling a little too I thought it was light related but I raised it and it hasn't changeds
She's still clear/cloudy trichomes no amber in sight yet, which is fine with me Id love to get the new light in and have her under it for a week or two! I'm in no rush for a quick harvest I'm shooting for the best I can get!

Let me ask you something about that plant...? Those rust spots are staying on the big fan leaves right?

don’t worry about the spots. Just keep doing what your doing, she’s finishing up her course. All those leaves that are browning, get cut off with harvest anyways. As long as they don’t move into the smokable part of the plant, I never worry about it. Plus your this late into flower, changing routine and trying different things will cause more harm then not. Your golden buddy, let her finish off strong!!

As promised I took a picture of the NL and the mystic, the mystic is the severally burnt one in the back of the tent These are not apart of my grow, but they were my seeds hopefully next run he takes a little more care of his plants

Damn!! [head held low] that’s so damn unfortunate!!

@Backlipslide As of current, it's only on the larger fan leaves, I just keep worrying that it's going to spread to everything., I've probably got a day or two before I give more nutrients.

Yeah it honestly makes me worried about the shed grow, I'm sure the sheds gonna be just as hot as that garage tent grow I imagine 80-100 degrees currently, ive found some window units on Craigslist and it looks like there's one for like $40 for a 5k BTU. The sheds pretty small maybe a 5' area, by 8' long (complete guess)

This is not an enclosed space, it's separated from the rest of the shed by only a wall, my thoughts are maybe buy some PVC, and some wrap, make a make shift tent - Cut out a whole in the shed for the unit connected to the make shift tent, and than run a large 6" carbon filter as well into it. What's scaring me is that the plants that got burnt literally have a really nice AC unit in there and running now, and it's still sitting in the 80s, I've heard high temps cause airy nugs, and I want to grow quality stuff so I'm not really sure what I'm going to do, cause I totally can't run these at my house unless I want to replace my kitchen table with a giant grow tent . Which is absolutely tempting as well lol

Fucken heat eh? Always dampens what we’re trying to do!! Was the other ac unit, smaller then the 5k btu?

I understand you want top notch bud. Always quality over quantity. With that 5k btu that should be able to keep a 320 square foot room cool no problem.

It sure does, okay I'll try to pick one up or see if there's a portable AC unit for cheap I can pick up, and see if I can manage the temps in there before I put the plants in, I need to be able to get it lower than 80 degrees to even consider it, my tent I keep 75.

I am shooting for quality for sure, I'm sure it will come as I fine tune the grow! And grow more strains to find some really good genetics,
I can't wait to see what I can do with this NL it already has such a funky smell and the structure of it is really nice!

Hey everyone,
Got the light in, boy is it bright! I didn't realize I would only be able to run one of the lights in the tent I misjudged the size and don't think I'll be able to squeeze both lights in, so just the ts1000 is going in the 2x2,
I can use the 300 for veg or for clones or something. So it'll still be perfect.
Here's a much brighter canopy shot first time looking at it under some nice light
They also sent over some really dope stickers!

Sweet!! The new light looks great! Sweet lookin swag as well!!
I can't wait to see how it performs, I love seeing new gen tech and the advances, and man white light is so much nicer visibility wise over blurple, I can't wait to see if my yield/quality increases with this light on the next run,

I just fed the mystic today shes week 8 but because I think she's going to be done extremely soon so I went ahead and fed week 9 nutes which was when Cha-ching gets introduced, so we'll see how she likes it.

She will love it bro!! Gave her the right amount of nutes to finish strong, and bulk up!!

yeah it was a really nice change going from blurple to white light!! Lol:high-five:

@Backlipslide I feel like I should of fed Cha Ching a week or so earlier but I was trying to follow the chart but I should of adjusted it per my plant since it's not a 12 week strain. so hopefully I still get some use out of it as I'm only going for maybe a week longer. My buddy came and looked at trichomes with me and agreed that it's about a week out, I can not waiiitt, I'm trying to keep temps down it's been like 82 in the house/tent I'm hoping it doesn't affect anything. I have had my fan Belowing directly on the nugs the entire grow to divert as much heat as possible lol even if it's a lil baby fan.

Oh shit ya! She should love that stuff. It’s meant for late flower. So I don’t think it matters if it’s a strain that goes longer then 11 weeks or not. As long as a plant is in late flower it should be good to go!!

too bad you didn’t get any pics of the trichs. I like seeing those!

Ohh yeah! Those are some good shots!! Thanks for getting some of those for me! I know for a fact, it ain’t easy!! I would have agree, a week give or take!! Thanks man! :high-five:

I bought one that sits on a stand and goes from 30x-1000x and it was a game changer on getting trich shots. I hook up to it with my phone via Bluetooth/wifi wirelessly. It made it so much easier!

@Backlipslide Looks perfect to me, I don't mind playing with it a bit to get better shots it's probably easier in the long run using that and a much more accurate accessment of what's going on with the trich heads! I see a lot of 50-1000x ones, I think I'll order one Thursday, so may not get any use out of it this run depending when she's ready, but next one for sure!

One of these tops still looks like it's freaking stretching, do you guys use Backbudding? I've seen it thrown around but I don't see many people actually mentioning it that often. I know it's supposed to be used like early in flower when youve budded up but does this actually help any or can you get dense nugs without doing that techique? I know I'm far too late into flower to take advantage just kind of curious.
It's a bad pic there's tons of trichs I promise! :rofl::rofl:
