Wow - um, let me start off with one or two … remember, I’m limited in available space!

A dome is only 12" x 24" it's feken way better than seeds.
Unlimited plants anytime you want them.
Plus it's a lot of fun. Hehe

Easiest way to clone is really cuttings in water, but higher success with cuttings in perlite. Cup of perlite, 1" water, cutting shoved in to just above the water line, keep it in a bright location.

Wait. :slide:
Yeah, i think i could do that - I’ve got green onions/scallions from the grocery store in the kitchen windowsill on a regular basis so I can continually use them

Remember Ammy Jr is in straight water and I was apprehensive at first...Shed is great with the perlite though

There is so much I can learn from you guys :)

I got it from @Virgin Ground and @Heavenly Hybrid. Female growers make some of the best teachers!
I’ll have to check out their journals!

They are the only ones patient enough to put up with us let's say not so great students sometimes. ;)
Stay safe.

Well, YOU FOLKS have had a ton of patience with me so far!

Hey Cjsbabygirl!

To help keep the rapid rooter from being too wet, stick a hydroton pebble or two under it. Raise it up, and let it dry up some. She'll send a tap root out soon.

Done!

EDIT: I spy with my little eye the taproot JUST coming out of the side of the rooter

Getting ready to do my full res change for Liv; decided to go full strength on the CalMag, Rapid Rooter, Hydroguard, and +life - but only half strength on the CNS17 Grow since the bottle shows nothing for seedlings, but also since Liv did good so far on quarter strength for that. Here is what I added and the order:

Item —> Amount —> End PPM —> End pH
Water —> 4 gal —> 0 —> 6.3
CalMag —> 8ml —> 60 —> 6.3
CNS17 Grow —> 35ml —> 490 —> 5.5
Rapid Rooter —> 8ml —> 530 —> 4.4
Hydroguard —> 8ml —> 530 —> 4.2
+life —> 1/2 tsp —> 530 —> 4.4
pH Up —> 1ml —> 530 —> 5.1

Debating on putting Lemi in the other bucket at 1/4 strength or waiting til she has a few more roots showing.

Liv now has her new nutes - noticed a root coming out of the side of the netpot today as well, so I’m assuming she’s happy! Will keep an eye on her leaves over the next few days to watch for any issues based on increased nutes and will adjust if necessary. I did notice some additional roots popping out of the side of the rapid rooter, so I covered it up with a bit more hydroton.

Lemi doesnt show much change, other than seeing that taproot pushig out of the rooter so I’ll just continue to monitor her.

I see a set in there

2021-11-20

Tent temp:
74F
Tent RH: 38%

Day 14 (Liv)
Res Temp:
67F
PPM: 540 (up)
pH: 6.3 … adjusted to 5.1
Water level: slightly down

Liv is looking great. Third set of leaves much more prominent today; color looks good. And today I even have multiple roots starting to pop out of the bottom of the netpot!

Day 5 (Lemi)
Little Lemi is looking better; curled leaf is straightening out. I moved her seedling cell to a little dixie cup and even found the tip of another root coming out of the a different side of the rapid rooter. This morning she is sitting in the bathroom window sill for some real light. Starting today, she will only get enough water at the bottom of the dixie cup to just touch the bottom of that rooter and that’s it.

New addition to the family is on the way! This one is a Mephisto Bubbly Livers (A few days ago, I dropped a few different seeds just in peat pucks in the little greenhouse (no soaking first) just to see what would happen).

Also got my delivery this morning from Eric (he has submitted to become a sponsor here, so when he’s official, I’ll let you guys know). I only ordered the two tent pole fan mounts and three more shelves, but not only did he send me an extra shelf, he also sent me tent pole wire clips and LST clips! Eric rocks!
