I am slightly anal retentive, so chaos, confusion, and disorganization just effs up my world like you cant imagine.

As for the name … well, the strain is sour livers, and I adore Liv Tyler, so it was a perfect fit!

I only have to walk about ten feet. :D Got the dock out today while it was snowing. :eek: Won't be long and the lake will be froze over.

Humidity: 53%
Res temp: 66F
PPM: 300
pH: 6.8 … added .75ml pH down; pH now at 5.3

First set of leaves has reached the edge of the rapid rooter as of this morning; not much else changed.

:rofl: Lol - I agree … thanks for the morning laugh, I needed that!

At 4am this morning, I noticed that the drip ring wasn’t dripping. Turns out the timer that they are on is faulty - it got stuck at 3am. So I manually turned it on and went on the ‘Zon to return that and get a replacement (gotta love insomnia). And I think with as LITTLE as that thing is dripping that I’m going to set the timer for 30 minutes and just keep an eye on the rooter to make sure it doesn't start looking dried out.
 
Damn - just checked the pH again - and it rose back up to 6.1 already. Heeeere we go :rolleyes: - added another .3ml pH down which brought it back to 5.3

Really? I thought optimal hydro range was like:
  • between 5.5 and 5.8 perfect
  • between 5.3 and 6.5 good
  • between 5.0 and 7.0 acceptable
  • below 4.5 and above 8.0 disrupted absorption of nutrients

pH: 5.9 … added .25ml pH down; pH now at 5.2
Water level: no noticeable drop yet

First set of leaves definitely past the edges of the rooter this morning: second set of leaves passing those baby leaves. Color looks good. No signs of deficiency or toxicity so I’m going with the assumption that for now the 1/4 strength nutes are doing just what they should.
