hey B.I.D. sense you and jandre are like the guys! I just got my seed order and one of them is called 2046 it came in this tube like thing. it sort of looks like a nute plug. I cant take pictures till tomarrow but it looks like a practice tip for an arrow. my Q is have you ever seen anything like that before? and if so is it just some fancy packing?
sorry if this is a noobie question but I figure you or jandre would know:)

oh and the clone box is awsome! hope they all take root:)

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

Good luck with the clones!

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

thank you anyway, tomarrow I will post a pic. I have never seen anything like this for a seed its bullet shaped and the best I can desribe is it looks like one of those green plastic plugs like miracle grow bush feeder things. I know obscure refference but thats the best I can say.
maybe I will ask the seed house. wich I should have done in the first place LOL just thought you may have seen something like this:)

Hey BID loving the grow brother i was looking for some input from you hope it's cool

Ok I have the following strains on the way and would love to know what you think would be good for a beginner CFL grower

Strains are as follows:
Humboldt Seed - Blue Dream
G13 Seeds - Pineapple Express
Humboldt Seeds - Pineapple Skunk
Reserve Privada - OG Kush
DNA Genetics - Cannalope Kush
Reserve Privada - OG Kush #18
Reserve Privada - Kandy Kush
Reserve Privada - Headband Kush

There's a lot of winners in there but I wanted to know what you thought brother?

Looks like your ladies are enjoying the bubble bath!!!! Nice!! I've also had pretty good success cloning with the plugs, never really tried any other way but your bubble cloner looks awesome!! may have to try that soon :)

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

don i appreciate your info we all have our ways i expriement all the time too right now im trying aero cloning with my newly upgraded dwc cloner, blue cheese is known for being hard to get to root, i did get them to take but the clones were to small to survive the extended time i worked out a plan, the only method i have found that works is the hydro style all other methods have failed me ! as far as cloning in general i get 100% easy with root plugs hell i have seen roots in as little as 4-5 days but not with blue cheese! thanks again for the input,i did try soil once all cuts died in a few days, i prefer a cleaner envoroment for cloning to many possible bad fungi bacteria etc with soil for me

might be worth trying 1 plant with kimmy's cloning method, the link is in my sig. i dont normally reccomend something with a name attached to it unless i swear by it, but even i am finding huge success with kimmy's method. only 2 have failed so far and i did not expect them to live through it in the first place. one was too small (like 1.5cm) and the other was borderline damp from a previous attempt on it.

i would like to add my own twist tho. instead of rooting powder/gel, try dipping it in pure seaweed for half hour before potting in slightly damp perlite.. other than bamboo, seaweed is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet and is PACKED with rooting/growth hormones and contains so little N that it still stimulates n-starved root drive.

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

i have rooted with pearlite very much like that method, it works well, i guess i should be clear about the intention of what im doing with the cloner, since the begining i have had pretty good success with any method i have tried best being root plugs/root riot the lil chocolate cake looking things lol used them for seeds and clones out of 3bags of 12 i had 1 seed fail, clones are 100% so far, they are by far the most effective ,fast, and simple way i have found, the 2 negativesare cost and avalibility im paying 20$ a dozen and the shop is out most of the time they get 2000 at a time and are sold out in 3 days, a testament to their popularity!,
i have used peat pellets, coco pellets, rockwool, dwc, sqwheels yogurt cup method, and several other ways ,all have worked to varying degrees
with most strains i can get near 100% except blue cheese i have tried rooting a dozen or so cuts and only 2 ever rooted but were small tired and weak, the did not survive to go forth ! but what got the roots to pop was the bubble cloner, at that time it was just airstones i did not have the water warm enough and they were from a very late in flower plant, basically i put 2 popcorn buds in the cloner, but after seeing them make it at least to pop roots i knew i was on the right track for blue cheese! thats motivator one to make the aerocloner motivator 2
is the cost of plugs, limited avalibility and they come moist (benifical microbes onboard) so if your not careful you can have them dry out and wont be as good so the need and desire to not have to constantly buy buy buy 1 time use items i wanted to clone as cost effectivly as possibly with the success level i was having with plugs, research concludes an aerocloner dialed in righ will have all i need going for it and the added benifits of being the fastest most low cost(all you really need is water and superthrive ) and even superthrive you can go without, see if your cloner starts getting pythium you can add h2o2 or just change the water simple and cheap cheap, all it really cost is a few pennies to run the pump, my pump is bigger than needed so i get a vigorous spray !
thats the deal on why im doing this in a nutshell im a miser and blue cheese it finicky (side note i have not tried BC in the root plugs they were sold out again) i have a feeling they would root well in a plug, long term i will prolly use both methods fairly regular , the plugs when i can get/afford them and aero the rest of the time!

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

its why i like perlite, you can reuse it as much as you want, and normal windowsill daylight is enough for rooting, and doesnt take electric for any pumps or bubblers, and may be even possible to grow your own seaweed.

i have no idea if its better than other methods, but as to the re-use recycle ethos....its peerless

i saw it and though a peep or 2 would find it very useful i know i do! how ya be vape?

Definitely! :thumb: I'm not doing too bad at the moment. :) Unfortunately I've found the Ice doesn't do much for my pain...fortunately it's very strong and I can vape enough that I don't care how much I hurt! :grinjoint: I didn't realize just how well the White Widow worked until I was out! I'm about half-way through my second bag of the hour and it's all good!

Weren't you on the hunt for a strain that worked for you?

Re: B.I.D. 3.0 Video Grow - Blue Planet Nutrients - JDL600 - Coco - GLR - 400WMH - Te

yeah im looking for a couple killer strains one that will deal with my insomnia, and 1 for severe joint/arthritic type pain that lets me function during the day, and id like to find a good sativa maybe that makes me feel up creative with out the panic attack/paranoia i get from most sativas, i just harvested some widow big bud unfortunatly it does not touch my pain, great high and wikkid potent, not bad for day tho, very social, soon im harvesting my chemdog im really hoping its my painkiller, i hear and read that its a great pain med and higher cbd like 2% i had a sample from the seed plants i grew really good but not fully ripe and quick dried, if the mature ripe version goes where i think, it may be the one i need (fingers crossed) theres so many strains i need to try, lol i have only tried maybe 10 known different strains, so it could take a while to fully realize the types i need for what particular ailment im treating oh darn i have to smoke alot of cannabis:thumb:

so guys i have a surprise today i was bringing in the house plants for winter its getting cold here, and i discovered 2 forgotten clones from this spring, remember back to the first month of this journal i had over cloned and tossed about 20 various clones, well before we moved i found 2 that had survived the compost bin for a week as a goof i stuck one in a tomato bush and another in a mint plant, lo and behold they lived and were ready to harvest today!! i had no idea they were even there in the pots growing alongside the veggies! a purple#1 shockingly pretty about 18 inches tall, funny i saw no signs of hermie either, all other clones and the mother hermied on me save for this 3rd gen clone grown outside in a pot with a tomato plant, she smells very good and purple!, and then theirs the tiniest fully mature plant i have ever seen at 4 inches, a wwxbb clone crazy frosty and wet weighs 5 grams, im thinking of entering her in potm lol as a goof  shes the cutest plant ever! heres the pics
