Axis' First Time Grow! White Widow Under 220W LED - 2014

How do you guys deem the 12 hour of light you guys have? For example i chose 2pm they turn on and 2am off. Mostly so When I am home I am able to tend them during the ON hours. Thought?

i am a noob so by no means do i have experience in this as i'm in my first flower cycle - I run my lights from 6pm to 6 am as my grow box is in the garage and it gets over 95+ and my ac has a hard time cooling during 12 pm - 5 pm.

during Veg i use the gas lantern routine so i have one hour that comes on 11:30am to 12:30pm + the 6pm to 6am time

i start at 6pm also so i can work on them during lights on as i get home from work at 6:30 pm - you are supposed to be able to work under green light though with no adverse affects if you needed to work during off light time

Oh ok that makes sense! Yea my netpot holes are to small.. Ive had to cut some of the holes out because my roots are bigger than the holes lol.. My hydroton is pushing out on my netpot in a few places also... I think the netpots gonna explode soon haha.

My lights on time is 1030 am to 1030 pm. This gives me all the time i need to care for my plant. I feed and water at 11 am and 10 pm. I never feel the need to do anything else with the lights off. During the day ive been taking a look and checking for growth and pistols. She sleeps when i sleep so it works out. But if you need to yes a green light will not affect the plant on lights off time.

P.S. i just upped my nute PPM to 900. Im gonna kinda follow the chart:

Early Vegging 300 to 400

Full Vegetation 450 to 700

Early Blooming 750 to 950

Full Mature Blooms 1000 to 1600.


Give us some new pics i know shes stretching now that shes in flower!! Have you seen any pistols yet?

Hey its ok mrrobert! Check out the first page of aXis thread i have a link to my grow journal as well! Me and aXis is on about the same stage. Im running the botanicare KIND lineup. Its just Base, Grow, and bloom and also Aquashield! Its working wonders!! I may try out Growology on my next grow but i dont know im loving this lineup so well! Hope aXis dont mind ill post it again. I need some feedback also!

thats great to know thank you! I am using the expert series line from GH - Its so darn expensive for all 8 or 9 products ( but still cheaper than some other lines ) - but i have to say i have been happy - unfortunately i have no variables to compare to as i am on my first grow ever - (see signature) - plus its hydro - hard to tell what causing the excellent growth lol. Will try another line up soon, as i have two closets so i can always test a line in one of them. I will check out YOUR grow!! thanks hunter and axis!!

Guys, sorry for the lack of updates. I have been swamped with shit going on this week but anyways let em get a pic or two from yesterday when I pruned her a little bit.

P.S. Im trying to get my girl ready for me to go out of town so sorry if a little distant.

All measurements are the same and I think she is starting to grow some more once I added the Cal/Mag and Botanicare line. Let's see what a few days does.

Here is a few pics i snapped yesterday. I got home and found that she grew about 5 inches in 6 days under my LED. My water was a little low and my ph levels were wacky so Im now trying to stabalize it. For some reason the PH is stuck near 7.8 and wont budge. Im going to be troubleshooting today once my lights turn on.

Well I figured it wasnt anything wrong with my water/nutes, but instead had to deal with a broken ph meter. :/

Well thats good to know that just the meter was broke and the ph wasnt off that much. Your girl looks smaller than mine i wonder if its the light or the nutes you started with? Could be just the strain i have no idea. My girl is 3.5 feet tall and 3.5 feet wide lol.. shes massive now. I do sing to her every day so maybe thats it lol

Shes looking good though! Keep up the good work! How is that root rot? all signs of it gone now?

I have no clue. Maybe my nutes were to blame for the stunted growth. Also I didnt get my LED light in until 3 weeks into my "Veg". I might even have to cut her flower short due to me moving cross country in a month. Anywho, lets hope she fills out to more like your girl! Next grow my entire grow will be on point. This, being my first was kind of a hodgepodge of things coming together to get it done. Pretty cool though!

Well i hope you dont have to cut her short... But i understand. Things happen. Im ordering my Top led in the next few days. Im going to put papaya under it once i receive it! I also have some clones started and going to be starting a soil grow with hopefully 4-5 plants! Keep us updated!

What light from topled did you try? Im looking into buying two Monster 1600's from them for two 5x5 tents ill be bringing together once I move to my new place.

Awesome! Im going to buy the 192x3 reflector. Its only 400 draw watts and 576 rated watts. Its rated for a 4.4x4.4 tent so i think it will do well in my 4x4. Looking for something cheaper and less watts for power bill. I will test and see how they do with 4 plants. This will keep my watts around the same as i have now with CFL but a lot more focused. The way papaya is doing with what i have now i believe i can do a lot with 4 plants and the LED. I may add one or two CFL to the lower buds once i start flowering with the LED. I will have to see. I kind of want to do one plant under it and SCROG it and see what i can produce. I have a lot running through my head lol.

P.S. Show us some bud porn!!! I dont know what you are using to take photos but you can put i believe the white balance on and all your pics wont be purple. There is a setting everyone changes for LED on there camera or phone!
